I had to have the truck towed to the shop and they did something really unusual in today's world...they diagnosed the problem and fixed the car. First time with no BS. They charged me way under what I was thinking because they worked the problem, didn't guess at it and fixed it. I had another issue with the air pollution stuff and again, they diagnosed the issue, fixed it and again charged me way less than I was thinking. Eds is honest, fast, actually finds the problem the first time, make solid repairs and gets you on your way for a reasonable and fair price. 5 stars all the way. I would recommend them and will use them for future issues. Value still does exist.

They sent a wrecker to get us and take us to their shop about a mile away. The tire was ruined. They did not have a Bridgestone and called several other tire stores, finding none. We asked if anyone nearby had Michelins - someone did. (Aside: we did not like the Bridgestones -- too noisy.) The owner drove 13 miles to get tires, and installed them right away. On top of that - I can be very annoying with my anxiety, because as many know, car repairs cause immense financial stress, especially for a young adult like myself just coming into financial health. They will NEVER do a repair that doesn't need to me done, or upsell you without consent. This should be baseline, but I've experienced this so many other places, especially in Kirksville. The price of replacing my radiator had me feeling physically sick for days because I had no idea if it would total my car or not. They worked around the budget that I had said to find the most workable price for me, and then when my transmission shot in my car 2 weeks later, they found a way to connect a minor transmission repair to my radiator and gave it to me for free. At that point he told me to get away from his truck and threatened to punch me out. Extremely unprofessional. I called the company up the next day and asked for John Wilson the owner. I was told he wasn't there. I left a message for him to call me with someone who sounded like the driver I encountered. I don't know if the guy never gave him the message or if the owner just didn't care to call. Either way, this is an unprofessional establishment. I would fire that driver. But with business practices like this, it will do in the business sooner or later. Karma always wins. I suggest to really think hard before you use this company for any service.
