The shop only has a small space for 2 max cars to park in.It doesnt have any other parking and you cant park on the road as its alwasy full of parked cars too. I often use the garage opposite to park in and run over to the shop. The shop is tiny but stocks basics like oil, screen wash, washing equipment etc. The staff in here are alwasy very helpful and can normally order you in whatever you need and at great prices too.

It seemed almost like a deliberate act of bike vandalism. Never, never use the bike mechanic at this store. Absolutely hopeless and it have cost me so much more to get another bike mechanic to put it all right. Do not use them.....

General store staff are friendly and will alwayd find someone to help you out if you require specialist help. My only annoyance with the store is the fact that all bikes and bike equipment is upstairs and there is only a very small disabled lift! When i wanted to take my daughter to choose a bike, i had my youngest child with us in a buggy. We could not get the buggy up stairs and the lift was not large enough for th buggy, myself and my daughter. consequently we ended up buying elsewhere!

From car cleaning, engine oil and brake pads. All at very reasonable prices! The staff are very friendly and go out of there way to help you. It also has a large front at the shop to park.

Dishonest behaviour and bad customer Service…read more Since moving to Galleywood I have often used this local shop for car accessories and parts. I have always been happy to support a local business and felt that they offered a good personal service. That was until today when I experienced what can only be described as blatant deceit. I was sold a damaged part that was near impossible to identify was damaged on purchase. When I returned to the shop I was told that I must have broken the part since I purchased it the day before and there was no way they had sold it to me like that. The part had not left the box until I compared it with the existing and it was obviously broken. The box was open on purchase and the piece that was broken off had been removed to cover up the situation. As such I was accused of being a liar which I find disgraceful as a previously loyal customer. The shop keeper told me it was not there problem and I needed to complain to the supplier which is ridiculous. After returning home with no offer of replacement or refund I have also noticed that the hand written receipt they provided was also backdated by 5 days which I can only assume is some vague attempt to make it look more plausible that I taken nearly a week to complain rather than 24 hours. I guess they did not think about the credit card receipt with date and time!! I pity this business which needs the support of its local community that it can treat a regular customer with such contempt.

To start with I had to ring the centre 3 times trying to find out what was going on with my car getting a very rude man on the phone every time. I finally got a call back at 4pm after dropping the car off at 9am telling me my car had failed and needed £600 worth of repairs doing, I was so shocked by the news I asked for a breakdown of exactly what needed doing & prices etc he then became even more short tempered & rude thinking just because I am a girl I would just hand over the money. I started ringing round getting quotes for what he said needed doing & instantly knew he was ripping me off. I said I would take the repairs elsewhere & bring it back for the retest first thing in the morning. As he had left it so late to let me know about the car I was rushing around like crazy to get the bits fixed as it had to be back first thing in order to get my free re test. It was the most stressful evening & morning but I was able to get the car back to the garage first thing in the morning. When I arrive at the garage explaining I had it all sorted & just needed the retest he then seemed annoyed that I had managed to get it done elsewhere all for £170!!!!! £430 cheaper than what they had quoted I was appalled!!! He then went on to tell me he couldn't guarantee a time for me retest, even though he told me to get it down first thing in the morning in order to get it down. I was fuming!! I had to arrange transport to get to work but because I finished late, they would be shut the time I finish. He finally seemed like he wanted to help me an offered to leave it outside if I left my spare key. Once I finally made it back to Chelmsford after having to get the bus & walk across town to get to this joke of garage my car is no where to be seen. I honestly thought the garage couldn't get any worse, but of corse it did. I cannot explain the rage I was feeling. I later find out the mechanic told them to bring the car in. So he clearly was seriously taking the p**s out of my life! I am so upset with how I was treated & think it's disgusting how people like this can still have a job. I would seriously recommend everyone staying away and if I had the time I would be standing outside with a board telling everyone to stay away I am that appalled!!!!!!! Oh and just to add, he then added a list long of advisory repairs on my retest that hadn't flagged up on my first test!!

This national tyres is always very empty, probably because of the high prices they charge for…read moretyres! I didnt know the prices were high until i shopped around, but that was after i had a set of 4 tyres fitted by them. I also had the tracking done on my wheels once they had fit my tryes. Although there not very good at this as within months my tracking was out and i had to have it done again somewhere esle. Because of that one of my new tyres was worn out around the side. The staff are all very friendly and polite though.

Beware of this tyre centre, it's not the first time they have left my wheel nuts loose!read more
