Got stranded on my bike! 2017 street glide special. Lost ability to steer. Called closest shop and got Kevin .. within 45 minutes he picked up my bike and me and got us back to the shop! Within the hour found out I had a hole in back tire .. something went in/out.. the loss of air was affecting my steering ! Ordered my tire, on the UPS truck next afternoon, installed tire, tested it himself and got me back on the road! Great work ethic and couldn't have been treated better! Seamless experience doing business with him and I plan to do lots more! I would recommend MOTOWERKS highly to anyone and my background is in hospitality and customer service. read more

Well I'll give them one star they did complete the job but it took them all day to put a chain on I don't understand why ??? then at 4o'clock a little after 4 o'clock the owner calls me and tells me that the bikes ready but he's leaving at 4:30 there's no way I can make it there in 20 minutes I live 45 minutes away, very disappointed I will not be returning to this place again!!!!!!! PS. If you're going to put ours your store hours online or on yelp make sure they're correct if you're going to close early on a Friday please let your customers know???? read more

FOR YOUR OWN SAKE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS. Very poor customer service (actually they were extremely rude). Very unprofessional and unethical behavior. I brought my moped for a change of oil and filter and to fix a flat tire. The year before I did the same with the same business and I was treated fairly, so I went back this year. I asked Mr. Kevin to let me know if he noticed anything else that needed to be done. The day after he told me over the phone that the moped needed a new carburetor so he had changed it. I had not previously approved for him to put his hands on the carburetor but he promised now the moped would have run as new. I was charged an extra 150$ for a total now of 350$. I was not happy for that but I decided to pay anyway and sent my son to pick the repaired moped up. When it got home it wouldn't start. I called them and told them that unexpectedly the moped didn't start. I was pretty frustrated since, when I took it to them initially, all was working but the back tire. I asked them what they could do to help me since it was hard for me to organize and bring the moped back once again. They said to take it back to them, there was nothing else they could do to help. I did, I sent my son again who's the only one with a truck that could do it. They called me the day after saying the moped was ready, that it needed a new battery. Another 150$, for a total of 500$ for a moped that costs 800$ new (Mr. Kevin was insisting that my moped cost new was instead 1900$, as if I didn't know how much I paid for it and didn't know what I was talking about). Once again they did the job without asking me for any estimate approval beforehand. Only after I received the invoice I realized they made my young son sign a prefilled contract, stating they were not required to give an estimate before working on my moped. At that point frustration was at its pick. I decided to send my son back, reluctantly paid the remaining 150$ for a total of 500$ now. I had the moped back home. The day after I went to start it to go to work (this is my means of transportation) and surprise surprise, it didn't start. In the whole process I was also treated very very poorly over the phone by both of them, Mr. Kevin and Ms. Candida. Ms. Candida told me I was too emotional, I had to grow up, that she didn't give a damn what my point of view was. They did absolutely nothing to come towards me, refusing to even send me a copy of the invoice by email beforehand as I requested. I was yelled at, lied at, they took my money, did a terrible job, treated me very very poorly and unprofessionally. 500$ and I have a moped that doesn't work and a very strong and deep sense of having been robbed and abused. This is FRAUD. Better they close down for a while and go learn how to work with customers and bikes. That would certainly be a better service to the clientele. BBB was informed. FRAUD, UNFAIR BUSINESS PRACTICES, ASSAULT BATTERY, THEFT OF A DEALER TAG, WITH FULL INTENT TO PRICE GAUGE DURING A STATE OF EMERGENCY.INCLUDING VIOLATING THE 2022 FLORIDA STATUTES 559.905 Written motor vehicle repair estimate and disclosure statement required. INCLUIDING ATTEMPTING TO DEFRAD IN FILING FOR TITLE WITH FALSIFIED INFORMATION. I went to Motor Werks to purchase tires, at 1127 King street Cocoa Florida end of September 2022 Purchased two tires for about 466.00 for tires including mount and balance. Keven G Rude the owner representative did the deal , he said tires would be ordered and he would call me in a few days after I paid ,that never happened up to a week to ten days or so later I called he said they were there I could bring the bike in and did ,he told me it would be ready in a few days .I said while your changing the tires check brake pads let me know how they look he agreed ,this never happened .About a month later and several calls asking about the delays ,I was told the he was behind and could be a few more days maybe even today ,never happened. Finally, on Friday 10-21-22 Keven told me bike was ready for pick up. I arrived with another wittiness ,before I could take the bike with tires I already paid for there now was close to a 1300.00 bill he tried to force on me ,he tried to justify, this over inflated price for brake pads ,roughly 35.00 to 45.00 each set caliper rubber gasket repair rebuild kit 18.00 each roughly ,flushing a miniature master cylinder on the handle bars and repositioning a throttle cable .I told him I was I licensed dealer once in the beginning and now when I had arrived he knew, I also had a shop repair license for years and I told him I never authorized a repair at all , he tried to tell me how important this was and he didn't want to be liable if the bike left in that condition .I told him the bike never had a break problem it was brought here for new tires and to stop trying to con me. He then asked me to accompany him to the rear of the shop where the motorcycles were, I had my witness come with me, Bill Larson, Keven started pointing to another customers bike, brake handle grips and trying to rationalize his unauthorized work, once again. I then walked over to the motorcycle I had brought there, took the tag off and took the key and told him this is a civil matter and we have to go to court ,he lost all composure started yelling for me to pay him the money and to not touch the bike or to take my dealer tag ,Keven then came at me then attacked me physically doing assault and battery to steal a dealer tag from my personal possession, I left and called police and filed charges ,Keven also called Cocoa police and said he was filing charges but will drop them if I pay him the 1300.00, I refused he then said to Cocoa PD since I would not pay him the $1300 he was going to proceed in pressing charges the police officers were upset saying that's extortion he then said he was now going to charge $35 a day for storage. I pressed charges case # 2022-00047815 officer Torello badge # 78 took the report several others responded. I have been a dealer and a licensed service repair shop for several years I've never seen anything like this. The Cocoa Police Department said there's been close to 1000 calls this year for this repair shop and they are there weekly either he is calling the police on customers or customers are calling the police on him for the same thing they show up to pick up the property they originally paid for but then are popped with another new bill without notice or consent. Cocoa police department was very understanding and said I should've Googled the reviews, if you Googled the reviews you would've never come to the shop it's just too bad you didn't, they are well aware of what's going on there but until then it had only been civil so I was informed. Officer Manning went to Keven's shop the following Monday the shop owner refused to give the officer a copy of the alleged work order which was also not mentioned or supplied on the date of incident to support Keven's claim of a signed work order. Do not go to this shop and look at reviews and 911 calls to this location ,this guy is a major rip off artist and con man !!!!!!!! I don't know how this guy is still in business. My husband and I paid cash for two mopeds from this store from The owner Kevin and his wife. From day one we told them that there was an excelleration problem from day one, each time they'd say, "you need to drive it more to break it in" so we drove it for 100 more miles thinking they were right, however the problem was still the same, the bike would never get up to its full capacity . So we brought it in after 100 more miles only to hear that we needed to put at least 300 miles. Both Kevin and his wife wouldn't even look at the bike, they were to busy, it needed to be broke in, etc etc. Finally, after taking the bike to a professional who advised and confirmed that there was an excelleration problem I notified Kevin and his wife telling both that they were in fact crooks, and liars, they sold us a bad bike, they insisted that I needed to pay them to break the bike in. This is ludicrous. They never even took one minute out of any of the four times we brought the bike in, not at 20 miles, not at 40 miles, not at 100 or 662 where the bike was brought in last. Both of them argued, yelling the same words, all because they wouldn't stand behind their bikes. So I'm telling you don't get stuck with a dud bike, because if for ANY REASON YOU HAVE A PROBLEM, THEY WILL NOT HONOR OR EVEN LOOK AT THE BIKE. THEY ARE LIARS, THEIR BIKES ARE WAY OVER PRICED AND THEY ARE SO DESPERATE THEY CANT EVEN TAKE CARE OF CUSTOMERS. SO PLEASE TAKE OUR WORD, GO TO HONDA MOTORS. Competely ignored my request for work.. I wanted a upgraded card on my child 4wheeler instead they drilled and cleaned the one that was in it... I said this is not what I want.. refused to give me my bike unless I paid the outrages bill.. a new card cost 15 dollars the charged me 133 for something I didn't want.. I would not recommend this shop to anyone, they did not address all of the problems that were mentioned in the estimate and when confronted Kevin Rude the owner told me that they had done their job properly and they were doing nothing else, so I was stuck with a $420 bill for a battery replacement oil change and 30 min worth of electrical work. And also they're $80 an hour is outrageous the KTM dealership in Titusville only charges $75. BTW Joe g is completely accurate I was even told that the bill wouldn't be that much during the times I went to check on the bike and I did not see a dollor figure until all of the work was complete and I was returned to pick the bike up. To start, as there seems to be some confusion here and on google, I am a former tech of this shop who quit after the owners continuously took advantage of me and my service there. I have never once claimed to be a customer of theirs. The conditions that were discussed at hiring negotiations were never met, i was grossly underpaid, and after 6 months of approaching them trying to resolve the situation, they refused, so i walked. Afterwards, he refused to give me my last paycheck, and then began to harass me on my phone. I would not recommend this business to anyone. A lot of their practices i witnessed firsthand, a few things that made me uncomfortable putting my name on (and what good it has done me). They pull aggressive tactics to get their hands as deep into your wallet as they can, a lot of bills are fluffed, often prices made up on the spot. They have often done work without authorization, presenting a bill much larger then you anticipated. (I had the displeasure of speaking to quite a few customers down who came in for one thing but ended up paying for more.) Expect a obnoxious used car salesmen trying to push a product he knows nothing about at this shop unfortunately. Stay away. Update: The owner (Kevin Rude) of this business calls me on my personal cell attacking me, and personally threatens to sue me for "slander" as he did not appreciate my poor review. Recently got new tires put on my bike. The owner was very hospitable and stayed an hour past closing time to get my bike finished in time so I could go to Bike Week the following day. This business kept my dirt bike for three months when it was only supposed to be one to two weeks. They were only supposed to change the jets. But then they torn into the motor without permission and said I have a bent valve and said the gaskets were put in backwards. Told them not to do any more work on my bike I was coming to pick it up and they wouldn't let me get it. I had to call the police to make him give me my bike back. The police said they have had several visits here for the same thing, because he won't let them pick up their stuff. I would recommend this business to absolutely no one! I called asking how much they charge to swap two tires on my Harley sportster. The guy said 50 a tire and we have the best Harley mechanics. I told him I bought my tires and have them to bring in and he began to tell me that was a dumb move and we could've bought tires for cheaper. I said I will call back and he began to ask why do you want to go somewhere else? You're going to pay less and get terrible quality. Has dodged my calls continually for over two months now that the shoe is on the other foot. Just filed my own police report against and will have my lawyer sue. I'd rather take a loss than give them a single dime. Oh, and "We buy Bikes" is a joke. "I'm Kevin, I will dodge your calls for months." ****to all my friends that ride bikes please share*** Motorwreks LLC in cocoa Florida is the worst business I have had to deal with in years. I took my bike in for an electrical issue with the fuel pump three weeks ago. I called him everyday for an update and he said he would call back in 20 minutes and everyday he would not call back. I told him yesterday at 1:00 pm that I would be coming to pick the bike up tomorrow at 12:30 pm. When we got here they locked the doors on us at 1:00 pm. I had to call the police to get some pep in there step. Of course when the police arrived they changed there attitude. Yet still no bike, and I'm waiting in the parking lot. These guys cuss, do not understand what a customer is, and also I have my thoughts that they probably messed up my bike more then the original problem. Funny how I have seen two disassembled bikes leave at close. He even had the nerve to call my friend a motherfucker. 2:20 now and still waiting on my bike. This is the 2nd time I have used Motor Werks in Cocoa. I have a relative that is very hard on his scooter, so I again had to get it repaired because it was basically trashed. It was done in about a week and was again in working condition! Kevin has been polite, timely and detailed in repairs that needed to be done. I have always been able to contact him thru business hours and if I miss him he calls back usually within a couple of hours. This scooter is a stressful situation for me, he knows the issues and has been very understanding of the situation. When we need to fix it again and we will, it will go straight back to Kevin and Motor Werks!!! read more

This should not be a repair shop, I took my sons four wheeler in to be tuned up and the atv ran worse than before I took it in.The bike literally ran for 30 min after I picked it up. My son end it up ruining the starter trying to get it to run. The mecchanic stripped the head bolt out and did'nt fix it or tell anyone. So after I repaired the four wheeler it was leaking oil. I have known kevin for years and decided to let him sell my bike on consignment. I was going through a hard time and found someone to buy the bike. He chased away the buyer and kept my bike hostage for 60 days. He never expressed i could not sell my own bike if i found a buyer. He left me in a hard spot for him to make a profit off of my motorcycle. If you do business with him dont save yourself the hassle. I called the police and he would not show the contract so i could get my bike back from him. The police said its a civil matter and i could not get back my bike until contract was over. Kevin was very busy and it took awhile to speak with him. Need a battery for my 2015 Harley. I usually only use Harley dealer parts. Taking with Kevin I decided to try the battery he sells. The bike starts right up in fact it cranks much faster. Even when the bike was brand new it never cranked that fast. I'll report back here on the longevity of the battery. While a very busy shop they gave me all the time I needed. The shop stayed open past their normal hours to help me out. Most shops won't do that. read more

I hate to be the bearer of bad news. Not sure why this is happening. We bought two mopeds/scooter from Kevin right before Christmas 2016. This is 2.2.17. One of the bikes is problem free but the other bike two weeks after we bought it, we had to return it because it kept stalling and we would have to push it all the way home. It cost me additional money when I picked up and I keep in mind I just bought it brand new not even a month ago.Anyway, after they said it was fixed the first time, Kevin delivered it at no cost and 3 days later the same problem. My husband had to push the bike again the all the way home. We called them again and Kevin came right over (no charge for pick up or delivery and picked the bike up to fix it the second time. Ask if he could swap the bike since its new with problems obviously and he said they didn't do that. No refund policy either. So hopefully it's fix this time when we get it back and I'll keep you posted. He and his wife seem like really nice respectable people although it's difficult to hold a conversation over the phone because they are usually swamped. I hope this doesn't turn out to be a lemon on a brand new bike. I just want it fixed. So my teens can enjoy their only Christmas present. read more
