Who knew you could find artisanal pizza in Sandwich? After a long day at the seashore we were too beat to cook or go out, so I ordered Moto for pickup. A pretty amazing long list of specialty pizzas providing lots of options. We selected the Balsamic Peach and Fig, Brie and Prosciutto, as we weren't sure if one pie would feed three people. The balsamic peach was the clear winner, roasted peaches are unexpectedly yummy. We would've liked a solid, consistent fig jam base, rather than the dollops we found, so that one was a "eh, we tried it" rating. The shop is tucked into the back of a fairly large "village" style shopping center, but wander a bit and you'll find it with no problem. read more

All of our food was takeout and it all travelled well! I'm going to think about the zucchini blossoms for a very long time. They were lightly fried with burrata and mozzarella. So good, and not at all soggy or weird after a car ride. The marinara was impeccable. We ordered a margarita pizza and the sauce was obviously incredibly fresh. Delicious. We ordered a large Pizza and a barbecue chicken sandwich. My husband said the barbecue chicken sandwich was okay but overpriced. The pizza was severely overpriced! $28 for a large pizza with one topping and vegan cheese? Insanity. Unfortunately, the pizza place that we plan to go to was closed that day, so we were stuck going to the closest one to our destination. This was our first and definitely will be our last time there. If the pizza was edible and not soggy and undercooked, then it would have been worth it, but not when it was inedible. Ended up throwing 6/8 of it away. Even our dog wouldn't eat it. And upon reviewing other reviews we are not the only person who had an undercooked pizza. The company did in fact reach out to me via Google and offered me a refund, and never followed through. they also said somehow we were charge for adding barbecue sauce to the chicken sandwich even though it already says barbecue chicken on their menu. So not only did the kitchen do a horrible job at preparing the food, apparently the cashiers need training as well. this was literally the worst $45 I ever spent on food. this was definitely an all-around bad experience. read more

I want to start off by saying that they are doing a great job of handling the high amount of curbside orders. With COVID changing the way we order food, curbside has been a popular option for many. As we waited for our order to come out, there were at least 20 curbside orders executed within 40 minutes; the workers were rushing orders to the various cars in the lot, truly hustling. We are on vacation and wanted pizza; we used their online ordering, which was smooth and had great descriptions of the pizza offerings. The pizza: I'm from upstate NY, so my opinion of the pizza may be different than those of the local customers. I personally thought the pizza was just okay, a bit hard for my liking, and the crust was hard and dry. We tried the Big Fun pizza, which is essentially a cheese burger pizza. We also tried a veggie pizza and a plain cheese pizza. They were all the same to me, not bad but nothing to write home about. However, my family really enjoyed the pizza. The sides: The sides are what ultimately confirmed a 4-star rating for me. They have excellent sides and it definitely made up for the pizza being a bit hard. We tried the fried pickles, fries with cheese, mozerella sticks, and wings. They were all exceptionally flavorful and the quantity was great for the price of each side. COVID Procedures: As stated above, the restaurant was doing a great job of executing curbside pickup. At one point they did have to come to our car to grab our name, and they were writing down the names of everyone in the parking lot and their car on a piece of paper. The only thing I suggest is that on their website they prompt the customer to put the car make and model in the notes so that their staff can easily find each customer coming to pick up. That would definitely help the staff out! Everyone in the restaurant was wearing a mask properly, which I know can be difficult to do in a hot pizza kitchen! Overall, the pizza was okay. It was the highest rated pizza place in the town we are staying in, and I can understand those in the area loving it if this is the style of pizza that they are used to. The fact that Moto Pizza is clearly conforming to a new way of doing business with curbside, and requiring their team members and customers to wear masks says a lot on how seriously they value their customers and shows the effort they are putting forth to keep everyone safe. IMPRESSED. This place is now on my top 5 all time pizza list. Dough was nice and chewy. We started with the cheese curds and garlic wings. The wings were cooked perfectly and definitely a vampire killer flavor. They don't skimp on the garlic. The marinara for the curds definitely tastes homemade with nice big chunks of tomatoes. We got the Brussels and Bacon and a Brie and prosciutto pizzas. The flavor on them we remarkable. The slivers of chard Brussels with the fig worked perfectly. Both Devine. EXCELLENT!! one of THE most delicious pizzas I've ever had! I went last weekend (Memorial Day) and it was rainy and cold outside and when I pulled up I didn't realize it was just a takeout joint. I placed my order and kindly asked if we could eat inside as it was rainy and our hotel was 25 min away. They were so kind and so friendly and very accommodating. I ordered the Street Corn style pizza, my nephew the BBQ Chicken pizza, my son the plain cheese and we ordered wings and garlic knots as a side. Let me tell you how fluffy the dough inside was and the outside had a light crust. Seasoned to perfection and cooked to it's point. The wings (per the kids) melted in your mouth. The meat was perfectly cooked that it fell off the bone. The sauce was delicious! The boys can be picky but raved so much about the quality of this food. As a customer who's been to both the Falmouth and Sandwich location they are both great in their own way. The Falmouth location is bigger and has more seating, but the Sandwich one is very intimate and more my style. I ordered the "Baja Street Corn" and the "Chicken and Waffles" and I was shocked at how stellar they were! Such unique menu items are what make me a returning customer. I have ordered from Moto Pizza many times, and this is the first time I was disappointed. I ordered a small pepperoni pizza and when I got home and open the box, the pizza had a very wide band of crust all the way around, much larger than it should have been. I feel like the topping section is very small. It's like half crust, half pizza. Maybe tonight was just a fluke, and I will still go to Moto Pizza in the future. We really wanted to love this place and traveled a fair distance to try it out. Great as a local favorite but their crust is their downfall. Far below average crust is so tough that it has to be torn off instead of bitten off. It's like eating a thin sheet of leather. Their website seemed to tout fresh ingredients but all meats we experienced were bought frozen, pre-sliced, ready to go on top of any generic pizza. $20 for a pizza of this average quality was a let down. Got a pizza on Friday night. Moto never usually disappoints me. But what I got was horrific , Pie was pieced together with bigger slices it looked like and caked with cheese. When I got it it was practically folded making it a quarter calzone almost. I decided to go ahead and eat it. After I ate a few slices I don't know what has a worse effect eating a few slices of Moto or Covid 19. As well as this pizza they brought me a Diet Coke instead of a regular as I had requested. My daughter and I made the drive from Falmouth yesterday because I kept hearing how good the pizza is. We chose linguicia, bacon and onion pizza. Oh my gosh!!! It was fantastic!!! Headed down to Sandwich for the weekend. By the time we settled in, the kids were hungry. Decided to do something quick and simple, so picking a some Za seemed to be in order. Had been to a couple of other Za places in Sandwich but not Moto. Thought we would head down and eat at Moto. When we got there, found it didn't have much room to have a meal. Just a couple of small tables to grab a quick slice. Thus, we just ordered and figure we would do takeout. Ordering pizza was an experience. Lots of interesting choices for their specials and lots of ingredients to add on. Ended up picking up picking 3 different small pies and brought them home as we had some other family coming in behind us. The pizza did not disappoint. Favor full and filling. The crust was farmer's style. Bready with medium thinkness and not very crispy. Thought the rustic style worked well. It was nicely done but not for you if you like a thin and crispy pizza. The ingredients were top notch. Fresh and high quality. They were put together in interesting ways to create some wonderful flavors for their specials. So I posted a 2 star review last night and thought maybe I was acting hastily and should give them a chance to respond. Attempted to contact, took down review & nothing. Not sure if it's because they feel it's not worth the trouble for non-residents but big mistake. We ordered a large x-cheese pizza, large buffalo wing pizza & two orders of dough babies. As we left the parking lot we started to smell the burnt smell and discovered the completely ruined, burnt pizza. Inedible. The dough babies had a dusting of powdered sugar and definitely weren't shaken or covered in any way with it. Total bill was $53 and change, with tip came to $62 and change. I did send a message to Moto and nothing came back. Poor Service for sure. read more

We also got two subs which were a mess; one was burnt and the other soggy. While the pizza was very tasty with great crust, this was a terrible customer service experience. The 45 minutes anticipated wait time in Sandwich turned into an hour and half wait with cold pizza. After paying for our order (and leaving a 20% tip), we waited in plain sight of the staff and got no updates... no apologies... nothing. Really disappointed. There were signs everywhere referring to the "staffing apocalypse", but this is customer service 101 :( read more
