I texted him on Wednesday the 10th asking when I should expect him. He texted back said he had been sick and asked if Friday the 12th would work. Told him sure. Friday comes and he doesn't show. I text him back and no response. This continues through the ENTIRE following week with no response from him. He finally shows up on the 19th (nearly an entire month after we first agreed he would do the job). I paid him via CashApp for the labor and figured that was the end of the situation. When he left, I was happy, finally had some air conditioning in the truck. My happiness was short-lived, because by Monday it was back to blowing hot air (no freon). So of course, I texted him and finally Wednesday the 24th he said he would try to get to me by the weekend (26-27 September), of course that didn't happen. He texted me again on the 29th saying he would "try and make it today".... Finally on the 30th of September he made it back over to redo his work. Everything since then was fine until last Sunday, May the 17th. The AC started blowing hot air again (obviously the system has sprung another leak). I've attempted to contact him via text every day since then with absolutely no response. Oh, and for those of you wondering why I'm texting him instead of calling, he doesn't answer the phone and hasn't even bothered to set up a voicemail. If you have an AC issue, find someone else. I'm fed up with this nonsense. Thinking about small claims court, but at this point I just need some AC.

I had to wait a day or so but I was definitely in a bind. They even put air in my tires which I was very grateful for knowing the tire pressure was off too. Only problem with this shop is that it is in the Gwinnett County part of Doraville and if you don't have a ride to pick you up or drop you off you are stuck with the Gwinnett County bus or a taxi. I called about waiting for an oil change and was told that I could drop it off and come back later in the day which was not convient for me not having a ride to or from the shop. I was tired of the treatment I'd been getting at a certain fancy multi-brand factory dealer (they never answered their phone, always had to leave a message with their automated system and wait for them to call back, long turnaround times for repairs, not willing to discuss repair cost or possible issues over the phone, always saying "you have to bring it in" and charging a diagnostic fee, etc). So when I needed carburetor work on the scooter I decided to give Doraville Motorcycle a shot. I called and an actual person answered the phone; I explained the issues I was having, he was very helpful in going over what could be wrong and assured me that they could take care of me at a fair price. I took the bike into the shop on Tuesday afternoon, and they called Wednesday at lunch to tell me it was ready. It was running better than ever when I picked it up and it cost me less than the diagnostic fee at the fancy dealer. The shop personnel were friendly, helpful, knew their stuff, and seemed genuinely grateful for my business.
