Vanessa H, acupuncturist of Community Acupuncture is professional, friendly, warm, and…read moreknowledgeable. I felt listened to, never rushed, and the treatment incorporated several acupuncture points, for the specific reasons I'd visited, now 5 times, every other week-- going on 6th visit. She let me know the purpose of each point, as well as, put ear seeds to rub pressure points for up to 2-3 weeks after the visit, to work points on my ears. She's knowledgeable about Chinese medicine and herbal remedies in general. I was given plenty of time for each treatment to work, as I rested on one of the 3 massage tables or one of the reclining chairs, to choose from. There are heaters and blankets, as needed. Long horizontal windows provide great light and clear energy flows though the large, high ceiling, private space. I have always felt comfortable. I want to get the word out, as Vanessa H is just great.
The group nature of the appointment, is a network healing, and the healing is experienced on both a personal and at a group level, surely, at a universal level too. I love the group setting, it's quiet, with meditative acoustic music playing. I had ample one-on-one time with the acupuncturist.
My first four (4) visits, I wanted to work on overall health, stress and anxiety release, and minor (to intermediate) medical concerns. On my fifth (5) visit, I went in for a badly sprained ankle. Vanessa was amazing at knowing how to address the situation, and brought out more tools than I had seen on prior visits. I will continue to go 2-times a week, while the new sprain is serious and quite painful. My visits have been affordable, as there are plans to suit tight budgets, per the web address: http://www.affordablenaturalhealth.com/. Thank you Vanessa and Community Acupuncture + Natural Health. This is a gift to our community, especially for those who may not have the budget to pay regular rates.
