Warning to parents: Motion Tulsa Parkour has questionable business practices and I would recommend steering clear of their program.
Most recently, after notifying Motion Tulsa that my son did not want to continue, they charged my card for another month because I hadn't yet come in to sign some digital paperwork to officially end the membership. The charge was made the day before I came in. They are refusing to reimburse the funds. Probably not illegal, but certainly not the kind of place I'd ever want to do business with again.
But the warning signs were there from the beginning. They don't publish their prices on their website. In fact, you don't learn about the costs until you bring your child in for a sample class. At this sample class they tell you that you get a special deal on signing up if you do it by the end of that day. Again, none of illegal, but certainly not transparent and I experienced it as manipulative.
Another parent told me that when the aftercare program shut down b/c of Covid they refused to refund her the money she had prepaid to sign up for a full school year.
The cost of the program was significant to my family--if I'd known about their questionable practices I never would have signed up, so I want all of you to have all the information before you decide to do business with them. read more
