She was able to relate to each child and their ages and stages of play. This was a PERFECT class, child led with a little structure. My son had a great time. We went expecting a nerf birthday party, but apparently they notified the hosts after deposit was paid that the kids were too small/young to do nerf there. Unfortunately for our friends hosting the party, Think Tank wouldn't refund their money and were forced to rethink the activities. The kids did have a good time on the tumble track and pirate obstacle course but most were a bit bummed they couldn't have done a nerf war like expected.

They were loads of fun! the kids were going and playing with obstacle courses, rings to swing from, trampoline time and just enough time left over at the end for cake. They even cleaned everything up afterwards! The kids were raving about how it was the best birthday party ever! I couldn't be happier with my experience here and most of all my daughter had the time of her life! The best part is, they will be good and worn out for bed great job to the fantastic staff and owner who kept everything running smoothly. Finally class was beginning and a young teen came up and asked what we needed. I explained she was trying class out and she told her "then go out there". These two young teens were running the class no adult the whole time and no one explained or helped my daughter out the whole class and made her very uncomfortable. Will not return.

We've since brought friends in to check out this great gym, and Tanya was happy to give us a tour as walk-ins--thank you! I'll update this review later, but so far, I've only ever found rock climbing gyms to be this exciting. I really appreciate the wide range of activities and options available here. It's kid-inclusive, disability-inclusive, and offers designated times and spaces to make certain areas safer for different groups. There's also a spa with many services, plus other highlights like a fresh juice and food café, saltwater pools, a rock climbing wall, hot tub, kids' area, online classes, and rotating displays of local artists' work each month. I ran into a family member and my obgyn which was pleasant. I could go on. It also happens to be a place where AMR ambulances are stationed while waiting for calls, which is pretty unique. Love it. The one downside I'll mention has to do with gym members, not gym itself. It is important to share though. One experience we had at the pool last July. While pregnant, I regularly swam laps as part of my exercise routine. One day, I invited friends visiting from Oakland to join my partner and me at CNW. One of my friends is an excellent swimmer and instructor. While we were swimming laps, we noticed repeated, intentional, and uncomfortable staring from a group of men in the hot tub. I asked if they were waiting for the pools or something. We were not breaking any rules, being disorderly, or abusing time limits. The energy was noticeable and felt by ALL of us. Perhaps it's worth noting that some older, Caucasian gym members may prefer an environment that reflects Oregon's earlier history. I'm not saying CNW itself is racist, but it would feel incomplete not to share what we experienced that day.

The kids club section is disgusting. They clearly do not clean or sanitize anything. The ball pits…read morehave mold. The toilets had feces on them, there was feces on the floor of the bathroom. We had a party here, which they plan after a full day of kids playing in there so it's not sanitized before. And they are worried about outside food or drink yet have literal sh*t on the floor. Our toddler is now sick from being there, definitely will never be back.

All of their routes were well-marked and there was a variety of levels. They had a slack line which was fun to try out. I loved their workout room -- it was huge with lots of equipment. They also had a shower with towel service that I could use. Nice place for a fun afternoon of climbing.

My child thinks of these people as family after almost two years of attendance. I do not have to wonder if my child is safe or cared for when he is at ABK. They go out of their way to communicate about how my child's day was and consistently look for ways to provide positive feedback even when my child struggles. As a special needs parent - I am so grateful for the way they deliver feedback and their presence with my child. The activities that they provide are engaging and well planned. They also have an amazing summer camp that my little one is really looking forward to again this year.
