This used to be an alright place to pick up mail which was sorted in time for the start of most…read morebusiness days at 9am. Not so now!! Many times I go to pick up mail for the charity I volunteer at and it either isn't ready, or they can't find anything.the list is endless. Of course that is only when I have stood in an endless queue of people who also feel extremely frustrated with the service (or lack of it) they are on the receiving end of. Often the office isn't even open at the times they are supposed to be open and there is no explanation offered. At times if there is no one else there when I enter, I can expect to ring the bell several times before anyone through the back can hear above the music they are playing. If the Queen knew the appalling standards of service being provided by this office, I don't think she would be happy to be associated with it.

The service…read moreis quite slow and you get the impression that parcels aren't sorted as best they could be as it seems to take staff forever to find them. It also has some rather strange opening times (or at least, it seems to have. I have often went to pick up a parcel during 'business hours' and found it to be closed)

I have never had to wait long to be served and while waiting therees plenty of chit chat going on and lovely gifts to look at. This is one of the friendliest post offices ive been in and I think most of that is due to the pleasant staff that work there cant comment on the hairdressers but it always been busy.

The items for sale weren't even marked with prices. I was kept waiting (with 2 people behind me) whilst the counter staff finished their conversation about someone that had just gone out the door. Most of the conversation was audible and not appropriate for the public toio hear. When i finally was taken they did process my items quickly and efficiently but maybe not realising we'd heard their conversation? I'm not sure. I tend to avoid this branch now unless I absolutely have to go there!

The service I received was rushed and rude, the woman at the counter huffed and puffed every time I asked a question and one member of staff even turned out all the lights and held the front door open for me while I was still being served! Absolutely disgusting customer service. I wrote a letter of complaint which I was told must have been lost in the post

Opening at 8.30am it gives people opportunity to buy stamps, pay bills, etc before going to work. Staff in general are friendly and helpful both for customers and each other. Sometimes though there aren't enough staff on the counter and queuing takes ages. Also if you are in the queue and remember at the last minute you need an envelope, you have to leave the queue to buy the envelope at the shop counter, before joining the post office queue again.

The staff in here are lovely, and always really helpful with anything that you need. This post office is also a supermarket and stocks pretty much everything you could need from a wee local supermarket.
