They also sell accessories like affordable jewelry from local artisans, unique scarves, shoes/boots/sandals and even an assortment of wonderful hand creams and candles that smell so good! I had to buy a pitchuli scented candle because it reminded me of my youth and I used up the one I bought two years ago. Like any store, some of the clothing works for me and some doesn't. We all have to know our own bodies and what fits best. What I really like about Adorn is that they have a variety of styles - they know women's bodies come in a variety of shapes and we can't all wear the same styles! In addition to cloths, they have shoes, sandals, hats, jewelry, candles, soaps & lotions and even a few handbags. Inventory is always changing and at the end of every season, they have fantastic sales, like 50% off. Because I've had good experiences, when I see an Adorn boutique in any of the Portland neighborhoods, I stop in.

She showed me how to style some of the pieces I chose & took the time to talk me through how to create a few different looks. Aiden (I hope I'm getting that right!) also helped me find THE perfect denim options, a real fit expert she even helped me find my true size! Both of these ladies were so lovely. I generally don't enjoy trying on clothes, but they really made it enjoyable. They gave me honest opinions on some looks, unlike most places that try to sell you on every single thing; they were focused on what worked best for me. Loved my time with these two & the pieces I left with. I know I'll wear everything, they won't just sit in my closet because I feel really comfortable & know how to style them. Will definitely be back!

Turns out they don't sell mens clothing so I decided to buy an outfit for my girlfriend which I know is a dicey situation, but the Saleswoman/Stylist Carly was very helpful. The place is kind of hard to see as I almost walked right past it but I highly recommend checking it out. Carly was a great help as I am a man and didn't know what the hell I was shopping for. He's an avid wood tuner and his work shop (the garage) gets mighty cold during winter. His latest love is the Duluth Fire Hose Fleece-lined Relaxed fit pants. The pants have a microfleece lining that is very warm yet surprisingly lightweight and the large, deep cargo pockets resist punctures from the tools he uses. The 100% cotton canvas repels stains and water as well. One note: they wash extremely well but are very heavy when wet and a wimp like me has to transfer them from the washer to the dryer. No complaints, just a warning. LOL His other current favorite are the flannel shirts. There's a whole collection of them ranging from relaxed fit to untucked to fleece-lined and they are all on sale right this very minute. The brick and mortar store has deals you can't get online and vise versa so it's always a good idea to check both options. Many have concerns about the area where the store is located. And, yes, there have been high crime issues associated with the Jantzen Beach shopping center and many of the stores surrounding Duluth Trading Company are in fact closing. Homelessness is rampant in this part of town but the store is safe to shop in and I would suggest just being more vigilant about your surroundings. It's the times we live in.

I've purchased pieces that will definitely be in my closet for the long haul without breaking the bank! Because either I've sold things that's no longer fit me or because it's much cheaper (or both!) When selling, they don't buy everything, but communication and asking questions always helps so I know what to bring in next time.
