OMG this place is a joke frist room we checked in to the were all wet sheet were drity as hell very bad second room we checked in was better until found hair on the towels and in the bathroom and for a non smoking room the room smelled like like if someone has been smoking in the room will not stay her again if i could give no stars i will read more

I stayed here for 2 nights while my corporate housing was being arranged. I dealt with Lorraine and Desiree, and they were very friendly and professional. They even called me in my room to check if I had any problems. For $53/night, I am completely satisfied with my clean and safe room, with ample, well-lighted parking. I booked this place knowing that it won't be perfect. There will be a few cigarette burns in your comforter, but the sheets will be clean, odorless, and bed-bug free. One towel had a hole, but three other towels were perfect, clean, and odorless. Yes, you need to put on slippers because the vinyl flooring will leave your soles black. Yes, the air-conditioning will be a little loud, but I sleep with the tv on anyway. I didn't avail of the $2.99/day internet because my phone has a huge data plan, and I just used such as a hotspot for my laptop. Yes, you may be given rooms that smell like cigarettes, but then the motel cannot control rule-breaking guests who smoke in non-smoking rooms. Yes, you will occasionally be hearing loud banging of doors, or people arguing in the middle of the night, but this is outside of the hotel's control. Yes, you will see a lot of guests who looked like they are down on their luck, and those who looked like transients, ladies of the night, 'business' people. But then you have to understand that these people are just trying to make it, and maybe this place is the safest place that they can afford. None of these situations bothered me. I needed a clean, safe, affordable place to sleep, in close proximity to restaurants, in-house laundry [although there is a laundromat that closes at 10PM across the street], and lots of places to buy necessities just a few blocks over in the more-affluent Cypress. Costco, Target, and CVS are 5 minutes away by car. My rule of thumb is to always check the room first before I decide if it meets my needs. If it doesn't, I ask for another room until I find the one that suits me. And if none of the rooms I'm shown are acceptable, then I just cancel my reservation and locate the nearest Holiday Inn Express for higher rates, but equally higher-quality rooms. I wish more low-end places follow the Motel 6 model of providing affordable rooms of high quality. I would definitely stay here again. read more

One of the worst Motel 6 as I ever have seen !!!!! so horrible there's homeless scary people walking all over 24 hours a day not safe it's not clean it's unreal. There's one or two people on the front that work during the day that are very nice the rest could care less........ Someone needs to take over this property and get security and change this whole thing....I posted photos of laundry room read more

I've stayed here on business and it works perfect for my needs. The room is clean and the A/C works great! Plus it's relatively low priced. The only downside is they are a bit understaffed. This becomes an issue when trying to reach them by phone in the evening, or if you need to get your room key rekeyed, etc. But above all, they are nice and friendly and genuine people. read more

For one they charged me 70 a night for a rm with holes in blankets sheets and comfoters never have clean towels always tell u there waiting on clean ones so after 3 days there i checked out to go home when i came back the next week i was told i was not welcome because one of my towels had to be thrown out because it was too dirty really your gonna sacrifice someone who pays 70 a night for a 2.00 towel when i had to sleep on blankets and sheets with holes in them ok read more

I stayed here two days ago. 1. room smelled like marijuana 2. my son got bit by a spider that was in his sheets. 3. housekeeping didn't come to clean the room til past 5pm and when she arrived she really didn't really want to clean the room let alone change the bug sheets. Location is great but I would never ever stay here again. read more

Stayed here and when I got out of the shower I noticed the walls were yellow and the towel holder was covered in filth.. Never again nothing like getting out of the shower and feeling dirty they also refused to refund anything.. read more

Motel 6 - This is from me wiping the walls towel holder and counters so grosd - Hotels Near Me - Stanton, California

I have been a loyal and regular paying guest here for a number of years. I was given a non smoking room and when I wanted a cigarette I would step outside to smoke. At the same time you can't help the wind blowing smoke back into the room. After keeping my room like the way it was when I checked in. This is something I do out of respect for the maids. The following day I decided to stay there again and was told I could not rent due to damages in the room from smoking. Okay... This is how you guys wanna handle me? No problem y'all gonna learn today! I didn't want to complain about the bed bugs, burn holes in the comforter, left over panties behind the towel rack, maids waking me up 2 hours before check out time, may I go on? It's cool I'm happy I can't stay here because you guys did me a favor and I will take my money elsewhere. read more

First of all- horrible service! Second- disgusting rooms that reeked of smoke and unidentifiable odors (maybe street drugs?) in a NON SMOKING room!!!!! We literally had to cancel both nights, they wouldn't let us just cancel one night and change rooms the next day. Even called the manager and the 1-800 number, then the 1-800 number gave is another 1-800 number that the offices were closed. That was after waiting on the phone line for 20mins in the parking lot because we couldn't stomach staying in the room. Did I mention we waited an hour to check in?!? Will not ever stay in a Motel 6 again- like literally lost a customer for life. The one upside was they gave us a refund....it'll process in 5-7 business days, meanwhile we had to drive around and call for an hour to find somewhere else to stay in a really busy area :( really not happy- 0 stars? read more

The girls at the front desk are the rude every single time. I've stayed here 3 times because I've wanted to save a few bucks and because they do early check in but every time they have the most disgusting attitude. You will probably be asked if you want to buy meth or how much you cost an hour and you will hear your neighbors fighting and yelling at all hours of the night. It's remodeled with wood floors but some rooms don't have tvs there's no microwave and no fridge. I don't know if they give you shampoo and stuff I think you only get soap bar. Towels are the cheapest you can find and they will only give you enough for one person. This place requires you to sign a waiver for the cops to come and go through ur stuff or something of that nature. At best you can be sure your name and license plate will be ran if you stay here. Oh and you are not allowed to have any visitors at all even if you got a ride here and your ride wants to use the restroom. They forbid it and tell you they will be watching the cameras on you and waiting to charge you for and extra person if they step into the room at all. This place is cheap though the cheapest motel 6 in the area especially if you have a corporate discount code but it's not worth the degradation and bs you have to endure from the ladies at the front desk. It's absolutely ridiculous how rude and smug they are. read more

I've stayed at motel 6's many times, if there ever is a problem it is taken care of promptly and with apologies. Well my most recent stay at this motel 6 was beyond horrible the staff was extremely rude (expect on night clerk) and the rooms were disgusting!! Yes I say rooms because I was in 2 different rooms during this stay. The first room I was in was infested with fleas (I was literally being eaten alive!!) And the bathroom was beyond disgusting. There was hair in the showers and mold in eyes view. I asked to change rooms 3 different times (meaning I had to sleep in a flea infested room, being biten like crazy for 3 nights) before I was finally given another room. They also tried to give me a 1 bed smoking upstairs room when I had specified I needed a 2 bed, non smoking downstairs room. After changing rooms I left my tiny tiny bag and left to go visit my son in the hospital (which is why I was even in the motel) I got back late and beyond exhausted I passed out. When I awoke in the middle of the night I saw several baby cockroaches. This morning I awoke fairly early and discovered a flea, and another and another and several more after that. So now with cockroaches, fleas and a heating/cooling system that only pumps out hot air even when on very cold in the room I went to the office and asked to have my room changed again. The supervisor on duty Vincent refused to give me another room stating that he didn't want me to bring bugs into another room. He pretty much said that I brought the bugs with me, that they don't have a bug problem. He gave me a refund for last night and returned my money for tonight that I had paid for. He was very rude and never in my life have I ever had bugs. I was and still am very offended and really upset and very angry. I will NEVER stay at this motel 6 ever again and I will do my best to warn others not to stay there either. read more

If I could give a negitive star I would...The only reason I stayed here was because I was getting my house fumigated and needed a place nearby that would take dogs. All I can say is that this was an experience that I will never forget. Everywhere there was grass there was dog poop, if the tentants didn't feel that needed to pick up after their dogs, then the motel should have done it, it seems like this would create a health hazzard. It was so gross!!! They had three ice makers, which none of them worked. Their website stated that you could not leave your pets unattended in the room, which after being there for two days I didn't understand why, it wasn't like they bothered to go into the room at all to clean it anyway. I'm glad that I brought my own pillows and blankets because their bedspread and blanket had cigarette burn holes in them and the room was a non-smoking room. Every time I left my room I was afraid of the scary people who hung out there and was amazed at the site of all the police hanging out too. I even had the police bang on my door, and when I opened it, I was accused of stealing one of the other guests dogs, I already have three, why would I want another one, unbelievable! Now I know why their commercials say "They will even leave the light on", because if it wasn't on, you run the risk of being robbed, raped, or shanked on your way to your room. Thanks for the unforgetable experience. read more

Motel 6 Stanton what can i say about this place well if there's one positive at least there's a jack-in-the-box across the street but the good ends there. Let me start with the fact that there was like 8 guys that were just in the trash bins at the motel like i threw shit in there and i here someone scream "hey" and then im trying to wash clothing and people are just walking in and throwing their own clothing like i didn't bring 20 pairs of underwear for a one night stay. The rooms are actually not bad, the showers are nice, but the sheets we had had hella blood on it did no one notice that there was dark red stains all over the place. The service was alright but MEREYM kept on calling me in the middle of the night like i get its a courtesy call but at 3 AM are you serious then on the way out we get in an argument and she calls me a rugrat really really like my hair grew back now i look more like brad pitt from fury than arthur geez im not staying here again. read more

My husband and I went to disneyland for our honeymoon and of course I was so worried about the wedding I didnt have a chance to book a hotel. We found the closest hotel that had room and this was the only place. My husband didnt want to stay here but we had been driving for four hours and I juwat wanted to go to bed. The lady at teh desk was very polite and had us in a room in less then twenty minutes. The room was small but there was nothing out of the ordinary. Beds and bathroom were clean which is really all we cared about. The next morning we went down to office to get the room for teh next night as well. When talking to the lady she told us that we could park at the motel six that was closer to disney land and then just walk to disneyland. It was only a few block walk and we didnt have to pay for parking. The area and location of this motel six is not the best and is very scary if you were traveling alone. In fact if you were traveling alone I suggest you book way in advance somewhere else and make sure your safe. read more

It's 4 in the morning and I'm up because I can't believe how fucking gross this place smells. The room was clean for the most part but I would never come back. I booked for 100 bucks a night and I'm thinking about ending my vacation early because i can't stand it. The bed is the worst part comfy but it seems like it's been through some shit. read more

I would never stay at this hotel again. I was looking forward to my trip to end up having my room filled with bed bugs. After I showed the pictures to the staff in the front desk they gave me some " we have to investigate " excuse and of course they found nothing even though they saw the pictures. They are now saying they refunded me for a nights stay and I have yet to see that money come through. I regret making this reservation 100%!!!!! read more

Had no problem checkin in or otherwise great if you want to bring your pets (dogs) as like most motel 6 - do not charge extra for having pets which is awesome. Traffic sucks on the surface streets (beach blvd) as it is close to knots and medevil times but that's to be expected so leave early if you want to arrive on time to any of the many surrounding venues any how back to the review on motel6 the only gripe I have concerning this place is that the wifi sucks majorly it's not the price which is 2.99 for 24 hrs its that although I had the wifi it's as if I still had no wifi (iphone5c) we called the customer serv num# and had them reset it but to no avail it was still crappy after we spent 30 min on the phone with the person ..so to sum it up if I'm gonna pay money for a service I'd expect it to be up to par -it's like having an inhouse girlfriend who doesn't cook nor clean but expects a lot in return .so otherwise this place is not bad except the wifi sucks as we all have devices to run now-adays /3 stars for the wifi read more

If I could possibly give negative reviews I would. My experience here was awful! If you could possibly go anywhere else DO IT! I reserved this hotel from a third party for convenience to the location my family and I need to go to. We had a late check in so we arrived at the hotel around 12:35-1:00am and after driving for more then 6 hours all we wanted to do is get to our rooms. (We traveled with 4 kids under the age of 6) when I walked into the office it reeked the smell of marijuana. The kid that helped us couldn't even focus his eyes were so red. When we arrived to our room, the room only has 1 bed when I REQUESTED IN MY BOOKING for 2. Sent my husband down to get our roomed changed and the kid told him that there were no other rooms left. That we only booked the hotel for 1 bed witch was incorrect. Furiously I walked back to the office and told him that I specifically asked for two beds not 1 on my reservation after I showed him the reservation he said "oh shit" clicked on his computer and then boom. A roomed was available now for us. The staff is just rude and unprofessional. I had to go back to the office on the third day because our card deactivated . The lady at the front desk was VERY rude. My husband went down to the office as I waited with our kids by the room door, it being 52 degrees they were cold. With our food that we brought back to eat at the hotel. They declined my husband stated that he wasn't on the reservation to get a card activated. When I went back down the lady started to grill me about why " I DIDNT ADD MY HUSBAND" to the reservation when he is staying in the room. This was a mistake from the 1st person whom registered us. The lady was VERY unprofessional and just wanted to argue back with me. Will never go back to the place AGAIN! Room was mediocre the first night the sheets smelled like urine. Seriously the WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! Avoid this PLACE!!!!!! read more

Previous reviews leave me lost as to how my experience went so well, and most didn't. We always go to Motel 6 when traveling to Long Beach for vacation mostly for the pet policy. This is our third one and this one didn't disappoint either. Their updated rooms are always a plus. Our room was nice, comfortable, and clean. The front desk girls were nice on both occasions and it felt safe to us. read more

Came early Thursday morning, and I notified them that I would be checking in around 4-5am. Girl on the phone said that was fine. Arrive at 4:45 and the lady at front desk tells me I can't check in until 5:15 am. Because I totally want to sit in my car and wait an extra half hour after driving all night... obviously customer service is not their priority. There was no effort even made to rectify the situation. First and last time. read more

This location is very bad for early checkin. The management is so cheap the employees don't come in to clean the rooms morning. Rooms aren't cleaned and ready for new checkins until 2-4PM. read more

Pricing and location makes this seem a good place. On a recent stay the guy next to me had people going and coming all night long. The were definitely burning. Every time I walked out of my room a panhandler would ask for money. I lost count of how many prostitutes were in the area. Also lost count of the number of homeless loitering on the property. Reasonable price good location but I would never want a loved one to stay here. read more

Will NEVER stay at this motel 6 EVER again. The staff and manager were completely rude. They even argued with us on the complaints we had about the service. Even got threatened to be evicted because the communication was absolutely horrible and we were told many different stories. We woke up several times during the night itching like crazy. There was no shampoo or soap in the room. Got 4 phone calls in the middle if the night from a fax machine. Totally a horrible time staying there. Would not recommend anyone to stay here. Absolutely bs. read more

Absolutely ridiculous customer service. Paid online for a specific rate they charged me double for each night and took two days showing them the confirmation email over and over again to get them to make it right. Room 230 no air conditioning up full blast the room still feels like a sauna and the steam from the shower would not get out we had to prop open the front door to get air. Not to mention the homeless population coming in and out visiting the long term drugged out residence who stay at this motel 6 long term. I'm sorry but getting hit up for drugs as I'm cleaning out the car isn't an environment I want to have my kids in. I know it's just a motel 6 I don't expect a five star experience but this place is scum scraped off of Satan's butt crack nasty. Please take my advice just pay the extra 30 and get a nicer room somewhere else. Unless of coarse you want a gross room with drug addicts wondering around at all times of day and night read more

Stayed here in Aug'13 and the new manager (2mths) Tony was a complete and total jerk who is on a major ego trip!! My husband and I stay here when in town on business and have done so for the past year and a half. We overlook what seem to be hookers and drug users and homeless who mill about because it was in a good location in regards to our work and the staff seemed to be friendly. When I was checked in by Tony he asked me for both our id (which we had no problem showing) but when I questioned him as to why he wanted he said "it is our policy, I'm the manager, and I CAN refuse to let you stay here!!!!!!!" I was simply questioning this b/c of ALL the locations we had stayed in across the US as well as this location we have NEVER been asked to show both and I was merely questioning why he wanted/needed. He continued to check us in and we went on our way. I did call and complain about his attitude and after that, when we tried to check in again we had been told he had banned us. When I tried to talk with him to find out why he made me wait 20mins and then I found out he had snuck out the back door to avoid me. Yeah, he's a professional..so, if you wish to be treated like a common criminal while the other "interesting guests" are treated like royalty then stay here...otherwise run far and fast from this location!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 read more

The rooms were for the most part clean but there was hair found in the towels or on the bed. I've had to go to the office two days in a row to complain about getting towels it was a family of 4 and they have us 2 big towels and one wash cloth. Like how is that supposed to help the 4 of us? The first day I went to get towels it took the 2 hours to get them to us and the second day she said someone would bring them to us right away and an hour later that didn't happen. The cleaning ladies don't even get in til 10am so your not getting towels til whenever they are done washing and drying. I am not the only one waiting for towels. We had to put all of our plans on hold until we can shower due to no towels. They said they would put in the request for extra towels and that never happened. It's ridiculous that so many people are waiting for towels all because of the staff not getting in til 10am. I ended up leaving to go buy us towels! We also had cigarette holes in our blankets for a room that's non smoking. I will never be returning here or any of the motel 6 again and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!!!!!!!!! read more
