professional opinion, the first room , was not clean was smoked in (non-smoking room) ashtray, still sitting on the side table. Most of the windows curtains were tore down. The shower was disgusting. The toilet looked like someone had thrown up in it and didn't flush. The air conditioner wasn't working so they told us just to open the window. When I requested my money back because there was no way in hell I was gonna stay there. The whole second floor, smell of cigarette , animal poop, unclean, and a smell. I honestly did not recognize, but it was not pleasant. They gave us a different room, on first floor which was the handicap room, much bigger, no furniture the pillows were stained and nasty no slips. The mattress was bad.. there is someone at my door playing with the lock when We were inside room. When I open the door to see what was going on, he apologize that he did know someone was in there and was checking locks. We went to Walmart bought a mattress cover new pillows. TV didn't work either The website said there was a pool clearly there was not, worth swimming in anyway. They had no spoon. No continental breakfast. no amenities , I had to ask for towels . they ran around, like they were all lost . talking with another customer while waiting, who happens to be a nurse it was our conclusion that two of the workers were definitely on something other than high on life. i'm guessing they were workers , kept interrupting the desk clerk who was trying to check in approximately 3 to 4 people waiting. I have never encountered such filthy, dirtiness, ill manner, establishment. I feared staying there, my honey talked me into . Most all motels and hotels were booked that weekend so it wasn't like we could just jump into another one real quick. so I lock the door with a chair under the knob. did not sleep well and finally left very early the morning about 4am. I'd rather take the lose the money than to stay there any longer. read more

Checked in late and greeted warmly. Went to my room that had unmade beds, lights on and tv blaring. Went back to the desk and got another room. This room was made up but not white-glove clean. Dead flies in the window ledge. Window was open. I found out it was because the heating and cooling did not work. And so the window was open for natural AC. A small space heater was plugged in and sitting on the desk in case heat was necessary. If you like a 1 1/2 inch gap under your doors, so that you can hear everything in the hallway as well as the adjoining room....then you would like this room. I rolled up blankets and stuffed them under the doors. Not to worry about getting the blankets dirty as they had a couple of cigarette burn holes in them. If it were possible to leave negative stars I would. Made a reservation online. Got to the hotel, the front desk assistant was no where to be found. A woman walked up who literally looked like she just rolled out of bed- in a sports bra/shirt thing, a jacket, spandex booty shorts, no shoes or socks, hair a wreck and definitely no mask. She said she was just waiting for the guy that worked there to get back because he went to the store. She tried to find my reservation on the tablet and couldn't figure it out... at this it became very very clear that she was high on meth. If you have ever been around someone who chooses that drug you will understand exactly what I'm talking about. She said she couldn't help, she didn't understand what I was saying, she was slurring her words and just very obviously tweaking, the coherent words she was able to get out were that her name was Marci and she was "sorry she looked like a mess she had just woke up." Gary walked in the door a few minutes later- also not wearing a mask. He also couldn't find the reservation even though he was holding my phone with the reservation email and looking at my reservation on his tablet (he kept turning his screen to show me my own booking reservation information- which obviously meant they got the reservation.) He said he gave away the room I had booked to someone else. The first room he put us in(which we had to pay more than the booking for a smaller bed) the door wasn't even shut- we pushed it open with out using the key- there was make up on the pillow cases and sheets- obviously not clean. (Maybe this is where Marci was napping?) We requested a new room- same exact thing. Make up and stains on the sheets. At this point I was beyond uncomfortable and we chose to leave. Gary processed a refund. When we left Marci and one of her girl friends were outside the front door smoking a cigarette. Motel 6 needs to pull the camera footage and address this issue- it's pretty obvious that Gary is letting all his friends get high at the hotel and leaving during his shift. read more

Use to be a Motel 6, can tell by the dirty bedspread, now an Americas Best Value Inn. The ice maker is out of order and has been for months. They are probably too cheap to plug it in and let it run all day. When I checked in, the smoke alarms are beeping on main floor and still are after two weeks. Obviously they are too cheap to change the batteries. You will not get house keeping and if you do, it's once a week. Housekeeping involves three towels and grabbing garbage. The beds are stiff and cheap. Glad someone attempted to clean the vomit stain off the side of the mattress and box spring at least before I checked in. The third floor is the smoking floor and usually can smell it in the second floor room. The elevator hasn't been cleaned or vacuumed in along time by the way it looks. read more

Superb for a motel 6! I love this hotel! $39 a night, free Internet and right off 70! It's new so it's still clean and decent. You can't beat this hotel and normally I would never recommend a motel 6 but they are awesome!!! read more

For the love of God, do not stay in this hotel. I reserved on Travelocity, and the website advertised free breakfast. No free breakfast, only coffee. When I asked why there was no breakfast, the desk clerk said "oh I guess they haven't fixed that on the website yet. We've told them to fix it." The rooms are as sparse as a Russian prison cell. The bath towels are barely the size of a kitchen towel and see through. Small drop of urine dried on the toilet seat. There was no alarm clock, and no electric outlet for my phone near the bedstand. I know it's a cheap choice, and I had to book there because the town I wanted to stay in was sold out. I want to write a nasty note to Tom Bodette and leave a bag of flaming dog poop on his porch. read more

Frustrating. Using the Motel 6 APP, I reserved a king, got a full. Reserved a no smoking, got a smoking. The 2nd floor is the only no smoking floor. Can barely understand the check in guy. Ac vent is moldy. The foot bath towel was wet when I finally checked into the room. read more

on my way back from Kanses city, i stop at the motel6 kingdomcity. Front desk person was very friendly and helpful. price was very reasonable and bed was very comfortable. I definately recommend this motel. you will not find a better motel at this price read more

OMG! This place is horrible! The desk clerk was so slow, and reluctant to help us. The room smells soooooo bad! It doesn't look like it's been cleaned in a while, and the bath towels are no bigger than a bar towel. There are only 2 outlets, and 1 trash bin. This place is absolutely gross. Alive and dead bugs everywhere. No towels in the bathrooms unless you get them by the pool. No breakfast as advertised. No trash cans wifi is garbage. Person who runs front desk doesn't speak English. The only thing nice about this place is the bathrooms. read more

There was no free breakfast and the beds are extremely small. Shower was decent. Room is a little dirty with a dead bug in the windowsill.

i cant honestly even give it 1 star... stained pillows.. cigarette burns on blanket..no kleenix..no hot tub.. an indoor pool that the water was too cold to swim.. no hair dryer...no breakfast.. free coffee empty...no water pressure for the shower head...not a big enough parking lot to accomodate a full house...THE ONLY GOOD THING...when we checked in the people at the desk were awesome.. not their fault hotel owner obviously puts no money in this place... I have stayed at a lot of Motel 6.. this one was by far the worst! I booked our reservation online and the reviews seemed fine excluding the comment of a stinky elevator (which it still is and filthy!) Upon first entering our room, 204, we noticed the door didn't shut. Not only did it not lock... didn't shut, period. We had to use the latch to secure us throughout the night, which had multiple loose screws. When I told the man at the front, he suggested just using to latch for the evening... not even offering us a new room. When I went to take a shower, I noticed there was only one towel, so I asked for another one. The shower curtain had a vibrant yellow stain on it along with the towel I had just got from the front desk and the floor towel. When my mom went to take a shower, she had to end up using mine because the original towel that was in the room, was a floor mat... come on. This "towel/floor mat" was in even worst condition than the one we used for the floor. Just pure laziness. Each bed had human or canine hair in it or both. Each bed had an old smell to it. The TV was covered in finger prints and the floors had obviously never been vacuumed. I realize Motel 6 isn't a fancy hotel, I am okay with that. But to pay $73.00 to stay in a dump was just wrong. The next morning, I showed the man at the desk (same man from that evening) about the bath towels and all he said was "the cleaning ladies must have confused towels..." no apology.
