I wish the towels were a bit more fluffy! There were 3 bath towels, 2 hand towels and 3-4 washcloths. (I didn't count those.) There was a great choice of 8 pillows ranging from feathered to firm. So good. I selected 2 feather pillows and climbed in bed around midnight I think? The next thing I knew, it was 10am. I slept soundly. I would have slept all day if check out wasn't 11am! I didn't get up in time for breakfast. I am super happy with the staff here and the stay. 5 stars! Would definitely stay here again! I was also able to tip my housekeeper with a QR code. We go to the counter probably 10 minutes in, and ask about canceling at least one of the nights on our two night stay. The front desk employee simply cannot help us (why have an employee that doesn't know anything) she tells us to go online. We have a 30 minutes phone call with whom she told us to call, they were no help. We ended up paying $170 plus a $100 pet deposit (we didn't even stay an hour). We got none of the money back. Nobody could help at all. They told us "the rooms are clean" "we know they're clean, we check them". Obviously not. Ended up leaving even though we couldn't get a dime back for our 20 minute stay. Went to the holiday inn across the street, told them what happened and they said it's very common for people to leave there angry and just end up spending the extra money coming to the holiday inn because they just can't stay in such a dirty place. Home was built in 1899 but somehow doesn't really feel that old and is very quiet and comfortable. We picked the ground floor room because we were traveling with our dog. She is certified as a holistic chef so you can feel good that what you are eating is healthy and nutritious.
