    This is where the water was coming from. It's clear that this has been a problem before & it's clear nothing has been done to fix it.

    My husband & I stay in hotels all the time. Sure there are things that aren't great, even a little dirty from time to time. I have never given a bad review. But this was THEE WORST experience I've ever had. While I was in the bathroom around midnight I could hear water dripping. I thought maybe the shower wasn't turned off all the way, but then I discovered water coming from the ceiling!!! I called the front desk & spoke with the staff. The guy said, "there's nothing I can do we're full. I said, "I can't believe your poor judgment to leave us in a room that has water coming from the ceiling." He responded with, "it's not poor judgment. I have no other room to put you in." The next morning we went to talk with a manager about it. The manager said, "oh yeah the guy last night refunded you your room." He did not even apologize!!!!

    We did digital check in here... The only reason I gave 3 stars was the breakfast. The room is outdated, the bed feels like you are sleeping on a hard wood floor. It was clean but I'm telling ya... Only start here if you love a really really hard mattress. Me and my husband woke up sore as heck. Please get this place updated

    This may be the cleanest hotel room I've ever stayed in. The room was "sealed" and sanitized for us, even the remote control was cleaned. There are really cool convenience features that I wish I had at home like the nightlight in the outlet, narrow built in desk, and having the faucet switches on the opposite wall from the shower head (allows the water to be turned on without getting wet). The staff were all very friendly and wearing masks and socially distancing. The "to go" breakfast was not great but it was ok. The fitness center was also very clean and well stocked, though not particularly large, it got the job done. The bed was comfy too! I definitely plan to stop here the next time I'm passing through.

    Very modernly remodeled room and nice staff. Best comfortable Hilton model Serta mattress, wood tiled Bathroom, glass door shower, shelves for towels and items made this a unique stay. Breakfast was good fresh fruit and different choices of hot items each day made by a sweet kitchen staff. Coffee and apples available all day. And cookies at evening time. All staff from front desk to maintenance men on elevators were very friendly and gave great suggestions for restaurants and shopping. Thank you for a great experience. Notes: Pillows were flat but staff brought 3-4 more so we slept like bears. There was a strange smell each time we arrived into room possibly new furniture or carpet so we ran the ac unit on fan mode all the time.

    As a bulldog owner, I loved the hotel decor! Ruff.

    Overpriced dump near I 70. Dark, depressing rooms. Wifi barel6 works. Tv signal constantly breaks up. It's in a bad neighborhood too.

    Dustin at the front desk was awesome. Not many people are that eager to help someone at 11pm, but this guy was a super star.

It was so perfect that I was able to walk everywhere I needed to be or where I wanted to go. My room was on the sixth floor and faced Broadway. The room was spacious and the bed was super comfy. I loved the pillows and will most likely be ordering the same brand for my home. The room had a closet that stored a full size ironing board and iron. It also had a small icebox and a safe for valuables. There was also an easy chair for relaxing and reading. The television was huge and had a personalized message welcoming me, as a Hilton Rewards member. The bathroom had a walk in shower and full sized bottles of toiletries attached to the shower wall. Having a walk-in shower at home, I greatly appreciated this. The bathroom was also a good size. Most hotel bathrooms make me feel claustrophobic, but not this one. Their cleaning staff was prompt and efficient. I love coming back to a straightened room, a made bed and fresh towels. That is all part of vacation experience. The front desk staff was friendly and professional. They made both my check-in and out, very smooth and easy. There's a parking garage next door and I recommend paying for the daily park yourself. You'll not only save $'s, but you wont have to wait for the valet to fetch your ride. When I come back to Columbia for an overnight visit, I'll be staying here again.

Now don't get me wrong, I agreed to it otherwise I would have been sleeping in my car or driving 30 mins ea way from Jefferson City. But it's kind of like pricing gas at $10 / gal when there's a hurricane. So past that it was all good. My room was massive - almost to the point of "what's the point of having all this space?" Separate living / entertaining room and about a 30 x 20 bedroom and huge bathroom. Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, auto blinds and a few other perks. Location is great as is Glen's Cafe (fabulous wine list) and all the bars inside. Room service was prompt and delicious. Reminds me a bit of McMenamins Bar/Hotels around Portland, OR. I did valet car because $25/day is a steal compared to any other hotel I've stayed and parking around the area is very challenging. I would definitely stay again minus the ridiculous cost.

What I can comment on is the completely inept and unethical business practices of the staff and manager of the Tiger Hotel. I'll try for the short version: I booked rooms here for 2 of our staff to attend a meeting at the Univ of Mo. 7 days before the meeting date, one of these persons could no longer attend the meeting, so I changed the name on the reservation. I received an updated confirmation clearly showing 2 rooms had been booked, but still showing the name of the person I was cancelling for. I called the hotel to confirm that all was correct. At check-in, the 2 travelers paid with separate credit cards and were again assured that there was not a third room. Guess what!? We had a "no show" fee of one night posted to the corporate card used to reserve the room. I contacted the hotel and was denied a refund. We contacted the hotel manager (at least 3 times), we opened a case with IGH corporate. I have provided documentation and a timeline for everything at least twice, but am still waiting on my refund. The Bottom line here is that we reserved 2 room, have a confirmation that states such and we paid for 2 rooms. Changes were made well within the hotel's change/cancellation policy, but we have not been able to get this refunded. Do not stay here if you have any other options.

    it's a short drive to get here off of 70 but since the whole point is to get some sleep being a…read morelittle ways off the beaten path is kind of a good thing. made the reservation after dinner 50 miles ago paying with points instead of money because $4.00 gas. we pulled in after a long day behind the wheel, mostly tired of driving but still tired regardess. this property is pretty standard for Holiday Inn Express; clean, quiet, feels pretty safe. Clean linens for bed and bath, locks and plumbing work and the air is properly conditioned. it's the little things like carpets in the common areas that's going to need replaced sooner rather than later and corner beads need a better paint match and a dearth of USB ports that keeps this from being a five star location (plus I'd really like a reusable plate for breakfast) but those same things mean I can afford to stay here so there's that. anyway, it's HIE and it's well suited to my travel needs so yeah, I'd sleep here again.

Her response was " we dont have any extra blankets because its graduation week and all our linen is taken for the rooms occupied and we only have sheets for queen beds and we cant give that to you because you have a king bed" My response was she wants it to wrap around herself and I was still denied by the front desk. Well i wait the time and go back to the front desk and speak with Mathew, not only did he get my wife and extra small blanket, but he came to the room to see what the problem was and has soon as he walked in, he noticed how cold the room was. He called maintenance and someone came out and said there was something going on with the unit and he went to investigate, guy came to the room and told me it was fixed but he wanted to check something and would come back to my room to assure me that everything was fine. We he never did and my room was still cold, I talked to the new front desk person and he said he could see the room wasnt heating up and he was sorry Well I guess the room got to 78 degrees around 3am because when I woke up the front desk person said he could see when the heat starting working. Justin the new desk manager knew of the problem and said he was sorry and that he would talk to someone to see if he could throw in 1K points for my trouble. The hotel response has been terrible. I didnt asked for a refund as their text stated, I was OFFERED 1K in points. However I would like to thank Mathew for furnishing my wife the OUT OF STOCK BLANKET. If I knew How to screen share the chat I had with the hotel I would.

The rooms are cute, rustic northwestern decor but could use updates and repairs. Example are ports for electronics, etc. But the rooms are comfortable. We had a suite that included a hot tub and fireplace, fantastic. The pool are is so cute with indoor outdoor accessibility and heated! However, the hot tub was not working. All elevators are in working order. On the downside I felt like the people who run the hotel don't really care about how it looks. There seems to be no pride in what they do. They offer breakfast from 7-10am. We went down at 8:45 and there were empty cereal bins, warming trays, fruit bins. The bananas were unappealing, the waffle maker was broken and the milk fridge was almost empty as well as the coffee creamers. I did not see an attendant for well over 20 minutes. They finally came out with a food to fill an empty bin. I realize that there is a shortage of people willing to work but if you have a job, take pride in it. They way this area looks is a reflection of who is in charge of the area. This is like your restaurant. Greet people, wipe down tables and counters, reorganize things. On the bright side, the did have a nice array of choices. Overall, we had a lovely stay. I'm sure you would enjoy this place , also.

Everything we needed was within walking distance which was great because we had a large trailer in tow and I wasn't interested in driving anymore after we stopped. I would gladly stay at this Marriott again and I recommend to travelers.

After two days of not getting cleaned (normal for many places now, unfortunately), we asked to have it refreshed while we were out for the day. We got in that evening, and it smelled like the cleaner had smoked a cigarette in our room. We were gagging on the smoke odor and immediately notified the person on duty. The font desk staff member offered a new room, but when we got into our fresh room, there was a wine bottle in the trash can and a used wet washcloth in the bathroom. Unclear whether we were given a clean room that the cleaning staff had done a poor job of or a soiled room that just had beds made and toiletries replaced. Regardless, it was gross, and we'll never be back.
