Cons: Amenities don't work or are lame. Pros: Big beds, decent sized rooms, fairly cheap. We chose this Motel 6 because we'd liked others on our trip. They have a dog-friendly policy and we were traveling with a dog. Cheap price. WiFi did not work. The advertised "Pool and Spa" had a pool of decent size. The "Spa" was a hot tub that was out of commission. Both were in a rundown building that looked like a converted small warehouse. On the plus side, the pool was fairly big and not over chlorinated. At this Motel 6 you can get two Queen beds. Others will only offer one Queen or two Fulls. That's really the only good feature. Rooms were fairly spacious, but the whole place seemed run down. If we weren't traveling with a dog we would likely have paid a few extra bucks for a decent place. Overall if you are looking for cheap or for a place where they don't charge extra for a dog, this is okay. Otherwise, try elsewhere. read more

I've stayed here twice now over a two year period and I'm very satisfied. My rooms were clean, there's a field outside for my dogs to go potty, a McDonalds in the same lot to take my kid to play in the playplace.... Easy peasy. We got salads from McDonald's and watched the sunset from our window! It's not a destination place, but a perfectly fine place to stop for the night on a road trip. The only good Motel 6 experience I had. I was surprised to have a microwave and fridge. My cat had peed on his blanket during the long trip. Their guest dryer was broken, but the lovely lady at the desk offered to dry it for free. She even gave me laundry soap! That really made my trip amazing. I'm so glad I stayed in Beaver. The only good experience I had. I'm amazed that some of these reviewers are ignorant enough to complain about not being given a toothbrush! Clearly they have never stayed at a budget motel before! Motel 6 never provides toothbrushes. Nor do they have elevators. The experience is pretty standard. However this Motel 6 had fridges and microwaves. Everything is grubby and rundown (sheets have holes, carpets need cleaning, covers missing on lights, the bed stands are 2x4s nailed together lol, etc.) It's cheap but would have gladly paid an extra $20 for hot water, pool, and wifi. read more

My vehicle broke down & the Beaver motel 6 was the closest place for me to stay. Room was large, clean, & affordable . There was a laundry room, a pool with hot tub, in room fridge-microwave & a restaurant within walking distance (crazy cow cafe ) also the new owners of the motel were absolutely wonderful. I'm currently at the motel 6 in Cedar City closer to the mechanic , & I wish I had not left Beaver. The price was lower & the motel was better. (No AAA discount & still cheaper than Cedar City with AAA) If you are headed north on I-15 or west on I-70 my advice is pass Cedar City 6 by , and drive the extra 42 miles for a better stay in Beaver, if you are headed south toward Las Vegas & thinking of stopping 200 er so miles short of your destination I recommend stopping sooner in Beaver way mo-betta. read more

the room was clean but had to wait for check-in after 6 for it too be clean, when check-in is at 2. Then when we got into our room there there was an ice bucket but no ice dispenser. This hotel shows it's age, but the manager is a very nice guy. The room was ok and showed it's age, but roomy. Flat screen TV, clean comfortable bed, and fluffy pillows. While not fantastic, the WiFi was good enough to play on my PS4 without lag and watch Netflix at the same time and I was at the opposite end of the hotel from the main lobby. I was allowed to have my dog at no extra cost. There's plenty to eat in walking distance for fast food or a fantastic pizza place in town that delivers. It's no vacation spot, but it's a good place to take a break from the road. During the off season, the prices are great. Just don't expect a 100.00 a night room for 40.00 and you'll be fine. read more

Checked into this Motel 6 as it was convenient to freeway access. I wish I had read the reviews prior to booking. Though this place is very clean and reasonably priced, it was lacking in some amenities. An elevator was one of them. We stayed on the 2nd floor and they hadn't an elevator anywhere in the building. Luckily for me, my 80 year old father was able to make it up and down the stairs. The floors throughout the motel art tile and very noisy. This morning I was awakened by the neighbors down the hall talking as they were getting up and around. The website promoted in room refrigerators and microwaves as we had food to refrigerate but the rooms are a bare minimum; no refrigerators, no microwaves, no dresser drawers. A sign is posted on the mirror indicated toiletries are available if something should be forgotten, which is what happened, but when I went downstairs looking for a toothbrush, I was told they didn't have anything like that. I guess you get what you pay for. read more

GROSS!!! If you love to sleep in filth, then this is the place for you. Everything was so dirty and smelled so bad. Our shoes stuck to the floor. The pool was a hazard. There were broken pieces of metal laying around the pool area. There were old singles and scrap wood laying by the door. I think the pics they post of this place are very misleading, as well as from about 30 years ago. Stay any where other than here. The Super 8 is where we will stay next, it looks much cleaner. I'm trying to find out where to post pics. The health department needs to check this place out. read more

Dirty. We stayed here on a road trip through a few states. We were traveling via RV, but wanted the kids to be able to swim, sleep in a bigger bed, etc. Avoid this Motel 6. I know the price is right, but I used to work for an Accor Hotel and this was very sub par. There was no wifi and there were none of the amenities available that are listed on the website. UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF!!! We had a late check-in, because we were riding all day in order to get home from our trip to South Dakota. We chose Motel 6, because we usually had good experiences. This time was not so great. The best thing about this stay at Motel 6 Beaver was the size cleanliness of the room. The toilet would not flush normally. We had to manually pull the plunger every time we used it. The shower pressure was very weak. The bed was very uncomfortable. The worst part of our stay was the front desk staff. Upon check-in, I was charged more than the price of my reservation. I used the Motel 6 app to make my reservation. The lady changed my rate so I had to pay regular price instead of receiving my military discount. I am not sure why this happened. I made a point to show her my retired military ID card. I did not realize she overcharged me until I read the detailed charges on the receipt. The front desk troubles continued in the morning. Since we had a late arrival, we wanted to request a late check out. At the time of check-in, we were advised to request this in the morning. We began attempting to call the front desk starting at 10:30 in the morning. There was no answer. We tried again several times, but there was still no answer. Finally at 11:10, the lady answered the phone. She refused to approve a late check-out and told us it would cost an additional $15 for each extra hour that we stay. She also said the check out time was already past at 11 am. Of course this did not seem correct to us, because the time posted inside the room was a check out time of 12:00pm. I told her this fact, and she said I was wrong. When I asked her to come look at the posted time in my room, she hung up on me. Following this unprofessional act, I walked down to speak to her personally. To my surprise, the front desk was still unattended. It had been since at least 8am, when I went to get some coffee. She posted a sign that informed guests that check-in was no available. I took a photo of this. I knocked on her door to get her attention. When she finally came out, we had a conversation. I repeated that the posted time is noon. She called me a liar. I asked her for her name so I could report the incident. She turned around and walked back into her office. She never came back out before we left the hotel. She left that sign on her counter and never showed her face again. read more

This place is clean great customer service pool and nice patio for friends and family you cannot mess here they are strict about vandalism theft and the cameras are on so they are watching. read more

DO NOT STAY HERE...non smoking room stunk of cigerrete smoke . Bed was broken and cracked every time you moved. Upon taking a shower and getting out I realize there were absolutely no towels in the bathroom they did not stock our room with towels. Complain to the front desk about lack of towels and the smell of smoke in our room and got nowhere I would absolutely not stay here ever again. 1 star is even too good for this hotel. read more

Ignore any bad reviews from before September 2016. This Motel 6 is under new management and is an exceptionally nice small hotel. The rooms are newly refurbished with wood floors, and are clean, modern, and attractive. Ok, I didn't go into my stay at a Motel 6 full of much in the way of expectations. That being said, this place managed to disappoint anyway. Reviews on other sites have complained that this motel doesn't serve breakfast and needs updating--that's standard for a Motel 6 though and not something that should be cobsidered , IMO. My issues with this property have to do with safety issues and cleanliness. First, the smoke detector was very obviously missing a battery (the battery compartment was hanging open, which made this apparent). Second, the bathroom was missing fixtures over the lights; this was just a small thing that makes the place seem really rundown and creates a great space for cobwebs to build up. The other cleanliness issue was the sheets--the hair all over them didn't instill much confidence in me that they were clean. I have dogs who shed everywhere so I know how difficult it can be to remove hair from clothes/sheets/whatever, but these hairs were dark, long, and very obvious, such that any housekeeping employee should have noticed them when making the bed. read more

This place is pretty bad, it's off a gravel road and everything on the property is broken. No wifi, the beds are very bad and the laminate floors make you feel like you're in a prison cell. Even the cell phone reception sucks so you're basically cut off from the world, which really sucks because Beaver don't have much else to offer. Do not waste your money. read more

I give this place less than one star!! What a dive. First, they put us in a handicap room and when I asked to be moved, the guy argued with me stating I chose that room. No, I just chose "a" room, not that room! Keep in mind, there were only two cars in the parking lot. After moving us to a different room, I sat on the bed, and the other side flew up in the air. Wow, what stability!! The rooms stink, there was no shampoo, no wifi, and the coffee maker in the lobby was "Out of Order"--overall, the place was a complete dive.
