Not for diners who appreciate civilized restaurant behavior
One star is actually too much. The wine came uncorked to the table. That surprised me and I asked how this was possible? The waitress smiled shyly; she went to get boss Jac. The boss came, he heard we had a question. I asked if the waitress had said anything. He said, somewhat annoyed, "Yes, but I want to hear from you." I said that I thought it is strange that the wine was already uncorked on the table. Then, as if stung by a wasp, he was ignited in irascible anger: we always do that here, then you should have said in advance that you wanted an unopened bottle, nobody here has a catering training, you apparently do not belong to our target group, the old-fashioned term 'customer is king' does not apply here, we are not going to please you. I was stunned by so much overwhelming verbal aggression. I looked at my wife, 'shall we leave?', she nodded. We got up. Jac said boldly that we had to pay for the bottle of wine. I didn't want that and we walked away without paying.
I hope to contribute to the 'success formula' of Mr. Jac by disclosing this negative unpleasant Mossels & Meer experience. Eaters who appreciate civilized restaurant manners should stay away, those who like to be insulted, go ahead.
