I'd never needed an exterminator, so just started cold calling local companies I found online. After a few unanswered calls to other companies, I reached these folks, and they were totally no-nonsense. They were available right away, and came to treat the house while we were at work. Their spray worked like a charm on the first try, killing the hornets around the house and repelling others from landing. When the warm weather arrived, so did the carpenter ants, and I called these guys again. I'm not sure if they're a family business, but sure it seems like it - the lady who answers the phone is sweet and helpful, and the exterminator was the same guy who had treated the hornet problem. They were available to treat the ant infestation right away, and even had a seasonal "service agreement" that covers pest control for the whole year for a set price (which, in both of my dealings with them, has come in exactly at, or under, what I was quoted on the phone). These seem like good people doing an honest business; I'd totally recommend them to anyone who wants to place one call and not have to worry about it again.

Too pushy - Too many steps to go through for assistance -…read moremeaning they had to schedule a consultation first and that was 4 days out and then decide from there what to do. The amount I was going to be charged was ridiculous. I ended up having a very large white jacket nest in our playroom ceiling that I needed taken care of ASAP. Rude on the phone and I needed someone that day and I was told, " (my name) you need to work with me here." This was said in a rude voice. When I tried to cancel they wouldn't just cancel and in order to book the consultation I had to give them a bank/credit card . Unfortunately I booked a consultation but then shortly after I spoke to them, I received a phone call from a local long running company in my town who came out right away and didn't charge me anything. I'm definitely worried now because they have my card number. They never officially canceled my appointment. They made the entire experience stressful and complicated. Never using a chain business like this one again. ZERO STARS

We didn't bother to get other estimates because these guys were so knowledgeable and the owner is a scientist, well educated about air quality. It's been 3 weeks since the mold remediation and the smell we were battling for more than a yr is gone! We bought a dehumidifier to ensure we can keep the environment inhospitable to mold, which is fair (and necessary in case we have a warranty problem). HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Kenson not only identified problematic areas in our old family home, but was also happy to answer questions from an air-care newbie. With pets and fresh offspring in the house, we also wanted a solution that at least was mindful of that situation and offered impactful but less chemical-dependent remediation. The other provider took three times as long to send an estimate that cost twice as much and required three in-person visits to assess the needs; Kenson and Green Home Solutions put them to shame with an affordable cost and fast turnaround time. GRS, if you're reading, add a construction division to your team to patch up demolition, and you've got something special.
