I have been a patient of Dr Richard Moskowitz for over 20 years and I have to mention some of his special and unique, unto him, attributes. His first special ability is to listen attentively and makes sure he understands your issues. The best part next, he is able to be very analytical about what information he is going to rule out. Difficult part for a doctor is diagnosis. He is amazing how is is able to be really logical in what he rules out which helps him zero in on what considerations he must make. His style is rather matter of fact which gives the patient the idea maybe not a whole lot is going on, but to the contrary a lot more than meets the eye is what is happening. I have learned to never rule out his first observations because over the years they have been right. I needed to have dental work done and there would be bleeding. I was taking xarelto, blood thinner, and MY VASCULAR SPECIALIST SUGGESTED I STOP TAKING XARELTO 3 DAYS BEFORE MY EXTRACTIONbefore my. I went to Dr Moskowitz, asked his opinion and he responded,
I RECENTLY READ THREE STUDIES THAT INDICATED ONLY ONE DAY WAS NEEDED TO NOT HAVE XARELTO BE AN ISSUE IN BLEEDING WITH YOUR EXTRACTION. I stopped taking xarelto just 24 hours before my dental work and had the least bleeding in my life following nasty dental work. So it seems some reviews talk about him not caring, i've been told that he does local volunteer work for the elderly on his lunch hour. I've also heard patients complain they didn't get into see him immediately at their appointment time. I know that he has squeezed me in a couple of times with no appointment because I had an issue that I was truly frightened of, I could go on but I hope you get the idea. There are times when I think he is brilliant and his delivery of his observations is non theatrical but done with great care and seems to be less than it truly is, This is my honest opinion of Moskowitz, check him out for yourself. I can't believe he has so few mentions here, shame shame read more
