He is my current PCP. I called 6 weeks ago to schedule my initial appointment to see Dr. Arcilla. The day before my appointment, I received the dreadful call that he is cancelling all his appointments for the day of my appointment. When I asked when they plan on rescheduling me for, she said it will be a week later with a NP. When I expressed that I wanted to see a DOCTOR, she said the NP can do everything Dr. Arcilla can. *eyeroll* So basically... I have to wait 7 weeks from my initial call just to be seen by a NP just to get my annual checkup. I would think after waiting 7 weeks, it would actually be with DOCTOR Arcilla. Great Doctor very attentive and makes sure he does his job and takes great care of his patients

Took my client to her appointment 8/16/24 while waiting Dr Arcilla medical assistant had a patient on speaker phone and asked her personal questions which by having the call on speaker violates HIPPA since everyone could hear not only did she do that but was yelling at her not letter her speak you could tell the patient was in pain by her voice. My client and I just looked at each other in disbelief since the medical assistant said her name many times my client thought she recognized it and called her daughter and sure enough it was her daughters old co worker. So now we will get a hold of her and tell her how her Hippa was violated and will be a witness because a complaint needs to be made this is serious matter. This Dr is not who my client had an appointment with. Just wanted people to be aware of this Dr's staff is doing. I wanted to say something but you can tell she had a temper by the way she was yelling at the patient. This is our private information that you share with DR not the whole office. I believe this lady is due for an apology because they can be in big trouble for violating the Hippa law. read more

I recently injured my knee and suspected a ligament tear. I called the clinic and left two voicemails to be seen. After trying for two weeks, I finally went to urgent care to get radiographs and some help because I was in pain. As suspected, rads looked fine and the doctor mentioned I need an MRI to see if it's soft tissue related. Well because of my insurance, I can only get the referral through my primary. So now I spent another week trying to get into Dr Arcilla again. I finally waited almost an hour for him to examine me across the room and approve my referral. I got into the MRI pretty quickly and did some routine labs as well. After the MRI they said the doctor would get back to me within 2 business days.... Well it has now been 2 weeks since I did my labs, and a 10 days since my MRI; I have not heard ANYTHING from Dr Arcilla. I called his office after a week, no response. I called again today, and shocker. Had to leave another voicemail. This has honestly been the worst experience ever and I would love to just find out my results. Not only am I still in pain, but if I need an orthopedic consult, it all has to be arranged through my primary :( I feel like there is no urgency or organization at this office and it is beyond frustrating. read more

My father was assign to the care of Dr. Arcilla, since its pandemic we wanted to limit his going out cause he is getting old and vulnerable to the virus! We called to get his medication refilled (My Dad is diabetic and has hypertension) we been calling since September 2020 and they have not answer or return his VM. So sometime in dec 2020 thats when we got our luck and was able to speak to his assistant, since my older sister is the one who called and does not have auth to speak on dads behalf she ask if they can call my dad to speak about his meds refill and has questions inregards to how he can get his covid vac! They call my dad the next day and was able to speak to Dr.Arcilla but he refuse to refill my dads meds and talk about the vaccine he just called to tell my dad to get an appointment to see him, my dad said he didnt need or want to see him unless its very important and right now my dad has no health concern just wanted to get him insulin refil because he is out since September, he said just make an appointment and i will get it refill. And hang up with my dad!! Now i dont know why Dr.Arcilla refuse to refill my dads meds or talk to him over the phone! For a senior citizen he shouldnt be encouraging my dad to come just to get his meds refill unless he needs to check my dad or change his dose!! Its pandemic and he wanted my dad to strut down seton. They don't answer or call back. You have to go to their office to get any answers, appointments etc. Huge inconvenience!

I got his name from a Cigna list of Providers and made an appointment with a specific health concern. I showed up on time for the appointment and then sat in the crowded waiting room for 50 minutes before I was called. I then sat for 5 more minutes and a nurse came in to take my blood pressure and weight etc. 5 more minutes and the doctor himself finally comes in and begins to ask my problem. No mention of the fact that it is now over an hour since my scheduled appointment. He listens to me briefly, sais I need to lose weight and then walks me out to his assistant and gives me 4 referrals and orders for a blood test. So I go for the blood test hoping that will answer the original problem I went to the doctor for and find out afterwards that he didn't even ask for the right test. just a lipid panel and stuff. Here I am at square one, looking for a new doctor. A long overdue update on my previous post. My mom has passed away on August 2018. Didn't even make it a year when diagnosed. Cancer had spread throughout her organs and suffered her last few days with us in pain. I still wished that Dr. Arcilla would have done a thorough check up and the cancer would have been caught at an earlier stage we might still have our mother a little bit longer. This all starts with your Primary Care Doctor. Please choose them wisely and do thorough research. read more

Worst doctor ever! Appointment was for 10:30 am and was not seen till an hour after. He couldn't even help my daughter with her skin condition. He said he did not how to treat it. My daughter also needed an ear wash and he couldn't do it himself. Unbelievable. The only reason we went to him was because my daughter has a new insurance and needed an appointment right away. What a complete waste of time and to come out of the doctor's office without any treatment was the most ridiculous that I've ever heard of. How did he earn his MD? read more

I went to Dr. Arcilla for a general check up and because I was also having extreme heartburn and felt like my throat would contract making it really hard to swallow. Dr. Arcilla prescribed Pepcid AC despite the fact I told him that I had already tried several of these types of medicines. I waited an hour and a half to be seen during my first visit. The doctor was very disconnected and didnt seem very concerned with any of my questions or health concerns. My second visit was even worse. I had a 2pm appt and had to be somewhere else at 3:15. I go to the office early at 1:30 but it was closed for lunch until 2pm. It opened at 2 and they brought me to the room until 2:30pm. It was already 2:45 and the doctor still hadnt come back from lunch. When I asked his assistant why he was so late she responded " oh the doctor is never back early" He finally showed up at 3:05, I was super upset and demanded to see him. He went over some really important test results in about 45 seconds, prescribed meds and send me on my way. I am never going back to this doctor and recommend that you think twice about chooseing him as your general practitioner. read more

Without fail, the first thing he'd want to talk to me about every time I went in was how I needed to lose weight and how every problem I have could be linked back to my weight. He went so far as to tell me that I should "starve myself because it would be good for my heart." Never mind that not once has he ever found something in my blood work or any other exam that he could point to to indicate that I was at risk for diabetes or high blood pressure or any of the other issues he paraded in front of me like they were inevitable. This is on top of being medication happy. He seems to prefer to write prescriptions rather than interacting with his patients. If medication is the right route, then I'm willing to try it, but at one point he walked into the exam room and flat out told me he was writing a prescription for blood pressure medication. When I asked if I actually had high blood pressure, he admitted that, no, I didn't, but that I would eventually anyway. His staff is rude and seem to think that interacting with patients is beneath them. At one point, when waiting an hour and a half beyond my scheduled appointment time, I asked when the doctor could be expected in and the woman at the desk shrugged and told me I was free to leave if I wanted. No, what I want is to be seen at the time I make my appointment, what I want is not to have to block out a four hour window for seeing the doctor when I need one. He didn't even touch me! Not really something a man would want another man to do but this is a special case. I finally got insurance and figured hey, why not get a check up since I haven't seen a doctor's office in the past 3 years and there were some medical conditions I've had in the past that I never took care of while I was still under my parent's health plan. He literally did not do a thing! He didn't listen to my heart, check my ears, eyes, poked, or prodded anywhere. He just sat his chair and asked me a few questions of how I'm feeling and what was my reason for a visit. I simply told him some medical history that I knew of and my major concern about my heart and sleeping. He wrote a few things, ordered an EKG, X-ray, blood work, which I'm happy about but feel like he could have used his stethoscope to check my heartbeat, a flashlight to check my throat, listen to my lungs, use the rubber mallet thing to tap my knee or something, anything! BTW, even the specialist he referred me to, took one look at my throat and knew what was the problem. What special tool he used to figure it out? A $5 flashlight you can buy at Walgreens. I owe that guy a couple of hundred too but thanks for the referral! I just feel jipped that even though my insurance covered most of the doctor's visit which was a couple of thousand, I'm still stuck paying $400+ for a 15 minute, didn't even check anything, visit plus another $600 for the specialist guy. 1.5 stars for the EKG, X-Ray, and blood work, which I'm sure I have to pay for in that couple of thousand dollars the bill came out to. I guess it's back to the drawing board to find a more thorough doctor. read more

I may not be too familiar about Dr Arcilla's practice since I am not a patient of him. I would say that I am not too impressed with the way he looks after our family member who has been very sick with blood infection and pneumonia. I believe he needs to conduct a more thorough and in-depth analysis of his patient's medical case, especially for someone who has a very serious condition. Anyway, this review is for his assistant named Beth, who I commend for being so attentive to our needs for the past several days. She has been willingly going an extra mile to make sure we get the professional care we need that's not covered by their facility. She patiently calls as often as possible just to provide us an up-to-date information. it may sound a cliché to everyone but when you have a family member who is so sick, every small thing matters. read more

It takes a week just to get someone to answer the phone for me to make an appointment, and their voicemail is always full! I went and saw him the first time complaining about my awful chronic acid reflux which he gave me pepcid ac for. Which then went AWAY after I went to go see a SPECIALIST. When he asked where the pain was coming from, he asked for me to lift my shirt so I can show him. I don't see why I can't just point at it with my clothes on! The second time I went for my visit. I told him about a discharge I was having which I knew wasn't normal and I had asked him why my hair was falling out, and all he can tell me is that I am stressed out and I need to take a chill pill. A chill pill? I am better off at a free clinic and I know they will actually look and see. He just assumed I was stressed and that is why I was having problems. You can't send someone home based on your assumptions. Give me an explanation as to why my body is OBVIOUSLY giving me signals that something isn't right. YES I'm stressed, but I would like to know what problems has my stress caused! What good is your doctorates degree if you don't even give me a clear explanation as to why I am not functioning properly. OMG! I could be walking around with an infection thinking it is OK because my doctor says I am "stressed". I would like to know why I am having an abnormal discharge and why my hair is shedding meaning what the HELL is going on with my body! I wasn't even done talking and he rushed me through my whole appointment by prescribing me medicine that CAUSES chronic acid reflux that I just got done dealing with! PLEASE DON'T GO TO HIM! If you want a doctor that actually cares, go see someone else. If you want to be healthy, PLEASE find someone else. Doctors are suppose to be available for you especially when you pay so much for your insurance and they are suppose to help you know what is going on with your body. all i have to say is he's the worst doctor I have gone to. I decided to choose him from my list of provider's because he was the closest to my residence. Big mistake. His staff is rude and very unprofessional and all he did was asked what was wrong with me and prescribed me meds. He didn't do any serious check up and when I received my invoice, he charged me for all these services. How unethical. I will never go back to this horrible doctor. read more

Okay, so I just moved here from Arizona and picked this doctor from our insurance list. I can not review the doctor yet I have an appointment today, but I can say his staff sucks!. I am in the medical field and when I called to make an appointment I left message after message after message with no return call.... I finally got a hold of someone only for them to tell me they do not take my insurance! What???? I let the very rude person know that the name of the Doctor was on my card and he was listed as a provider for my insurance. She put me on hold then came back on the line to ask me once again if the Doctors name was on my card hello YES!!!! for the 5th time. The lady was rude and in a hurry I wanted to know more about the doctor but she cut me off as I tried to explain I was a new patient and needed a new patient appointment not a follow up appointment..... on hold again. She came back got some of my info name and the name of my insurance company (I had already given her that 5 times) She was so rude I asked to speak to an office manager, (on hold again) office manager came on and told me her staff was rude because they were busy!!!!!! I went to see Dr. Arcilla because I had a sore throat he gave me antibiotics but he did not even check my throat. all that he is good for is to right prescriptions this is the worst Dr. that I ever been to. he gave me a prescription that it was unreadable the pharmacy call his office for a week no body called back. I tried to call several times no body answer the phone it was very frustrating. But when it comes to charge the insurance he charged for a physical even thought I did not get one.
