I enjoyed their offerings, and was hoping I could buy bottles or cans to take home, but as of now they only have glass growlers. Not knowing when we might be back in the area to refill them, I sadly had to pass on that. But we did enjoy a nice flight, and had a nice chat with the owner gal.

It's worth it to get a group of friends and sit outside, share some bottles, and taste that way. We opted for a white, as it was hot out, and we had just come from a grueling hike, and it was tasty and refreshing. They also had a wine slushy machine, and the white blend is DANGEROUS. It's like a wine-y frozen lemonade of deliciousness. Careful, they sneak up on you! The interior of the building is also super cool, with a bunch of vintage cars, and the restrooms were spotless. I enjoyed the hour or two we spent here, enjoying wine and good company.

The new location is nice as you can walk around and shop the shops then have a glass of wine or do a tasting. There is a small outside patio with a propane fire pit and it makes for a nice outside area to sit - not scenic like a winery typically is, but nice all the same. My favorite addition in recent years is the wine slushies! They usually have a white and a rose and both are delicious! Always enjoy a visit here!

Located in downtown Quincy, Errant Cellars has a tasting room with a front patio area. My friend and I checked in at the tasting room and were told that we could pick a spot outside where the friendly employee followed us out with glasses and the wine menu. We were told that we could try the wines that had a dot by them, which included two whites, a rose and two reds, so we tried all of them. The whites were super sweet, which I was not a fan of. Rose was average. And the two reds were lighter than what I normally drink. After the tasting our server checked in with us and mentioned that if she had a bottle open of something that wasn't dotted to try, we could try it. That was really nice of her. I ended up trying the cabernet sauvignon, which is what I bought a bottle of. It was solid. They had a decent amount of reds on the menu, but a lot of them were unavailable to try. I think if I had tasted more of their reds, I'd be a bigger fan of Errant Cellars.

Chris Daniel's mother provided lots of information about the wines we tasted and the history of their winery. It's located only a few minutes off of I90, which makes it an easy decision for a side trip. Finally, all 13 wines we tried were great. We joined their club and took home 7 bottles of wine. Not much available for food, except for a few snacks, meat & cheese packet and small bags of chips. The very reasonably priced $10 tasting is free if you buy a bottle and I'd expect you will. I'd highly recommend this place for its ambience and Chris' mother, Dianne.

Bruce keeps me coming back because, well, I like him, he's engaging to talk to. He also offers unique and high-quality wine selections, including a wide variety of reds, whites, and in-betweens. He has plenty of both still and bubbly options, which is very rare around here, and his palette is excellent. He's talented at introducing people to new flavors that fit their tastes, and I now have some stellar WA wines on my favorites list thanks to him. And I appreciate that he features WA wines only (except for bubble options, I believe) because drinking a region's wine is a great way to get to know it better. Speaking of bubbles, he actually found me more than one WA option that I really enjoy, and I say actually because 1) I'm very picky, and 2) WA doesn't make many ones that suit me in my overall experience. He works magic.
