Our son is in Kindergarten and his teacher, Mrs. Johns, has been an amazing educator and role model. I'm constantly blown away by the breadth of information that our kid is coming home with. In addition to his regular curriculum, he also has PE, art, Spanish, nutrition, and music classes. It's really refreshing to see a school that recognizes the importance of a well rounded education. From day one, we have been accepted with open arms and truly made to feel like a part of the Saint Gabriel family. The support and camaraderie is outstanding. Mr. Burt, the fantastic music teacher and choir director, was able to have the school choir invited to sing the National Anthem at the 51s game this past weekend. SGCS came out in full force and filled an entire section. It was so terrific to see that level of support for the choir. The Principal, Ms. Bellinger is one of the most incredible women, and leaders, that I've ever known. She absolutely goes out of her way to make each and every child and parent feel listened to and cared for. In addition to all of her hard work at school, Ms. Bellinger has organized and encouraged students, parents, and faculty to volunteer with Catholic Worker several times a month. It's wonderful to see the children doing homeless outreach and exhibiting Christ-like behavior. I've really been impressed by how much everyone at this school truly lives their Catholic faith in their daily lives. The education at Saint Gabriel is unparalleled and the children are given so many opportunities to shine. Several students even took home ribbons from the UNLV science fair! We've really enjoyed all of the great events that have been planned by the HSA. It's so great to see how many parents are involved in the school and the events. We are so thankful to everyone at SGCS for making this year so wonderful! Saint Gabriel Catholic School isn't just a school, it's a family.

Finding St. Gabriel Catholic School was the best option for my last Daughter. Starting her from kindergarten till today in 6th grade, she is 2 years ahead of St. Viator students and other Clark County Schools since they teach Core Knowledge NOT Common Core like all the other schools. The education and interaction with the students is the best since the class sizes are less than 22 students to a class. Currently her 6th grade has 14 students total and she loves the school.

Some people say that the original apostles did not recite stories. Fact was they were mostly madmen. Yet they were worthy as disciples. At one time, most people never questioned the word of God. People said they went to temples to connect with god. But everyone will tell you that nothing feels more like the presence of god than a furious storm. Since everyone seemed to fear their god. I suppose it was natural for them to run from any storm. I imagine anyone who truly feels the love of their divine creator. Has the most questions. Especially when it often feels like god is constantly testing with life challenges. That kind of love, from a woman can drive a man wild. I imagine God's love, can send a man on insanely journeys. Some guy shot an arrow to get his attention. And I suppose other men have walked right into the beast of all storms. A leap of faith indeed. A madness that demands god to confront him. Either by peace of mind. Or death. Probably how "Give me liberty or give me death" originated. Unfortunately that kind of story is very difficult to validate. But I heard that a girl once witnessed a dead madman who walked in his own death. And even returned to tell her the entire story. I believe she goes by the name Grace.

Their health class? A bunch of poorly copied pdf files of a text book with anything to do with genitalia being scribbled out because "it's not of God." And if they find out your child is transferring to a new school? They try to scare them into staying, telling them that anywhere else they'll get beat up, made fun of, and ignored. I left after my junior year, and they didn't prepare me at all for college. I felt blindsided. Leaving was the most refreshing experience of my life. Everyone I talk to that I knew from the school still harbors heavy resentment toward this place. Save your money.

They have great hours that works with our schedule and pricing comparable to other daycares we looked at. But here, the kids get great meals all day, which was a huge plus for us. We've had teachers Aniah, Kat, Ale, Chelsea, Isabel, and miciyah, and they are each wonderful. Even the teachers who don't have my son know his name. The playgrounds are great, and the facility is safe. I love that they offer the live camera access. They have learning plans each week and we appreciate that. The school is always clean.
