Mosaic is my one and only choice in Beverly Hills, and honestly in all of Los Angeles. I say this as someone who knows the alternatives. The Peninsula in Paris is one of my favourite hotels in the world and I stay there whenever I am in Paris. But whenever I am in LA, I would choose Mosaic over its neighbour, the Peninsula Beverly Hills, and over any other five star hotel in this city. Every time I come to LA I stay for over a month, and I stay here. The hotel itself is beautifully kept. It is genuinely clean, not "clean for a hotel." Sweet kind Florenzia cleaned my room every single day, refilled my coffee, and it looked impeccable every time I walked back in, the towels are always fresh, the standing showers are excellent, and I love that there is a Nespresso in the room. One major reason I keep coming back is the people. I have known Phillipa for years and she is just so kind and wonderful. She is warm in a way you cannot train into someone, and she is so loving and so helpful. I used to come to LA for three weeks, or slightly over three weeks, and I had no idea about the tax. Phillipa is the one who told me that if you stay over 31 nights, the LA occupancy tax is waived. Nobody else had ever mentioned it to me. Because of her I now book month long stays at Mosaic every time I come. Faraz is the one who welcomed me this time. I do not think he was at Mosaic on my earlier stays, but from the first day he has helped me with everything. He is so warm and so friendly, and at this point I consider him a dear friend. Rebecca goes out of her way constantly to make guests feel at home. She is kind, she is helpful, she is so warm, and she genuinely loves people. That comes through in every interaction. Mimia manages everything here and does it beautifully. So much of what makes this hotel run the way it does comes back to her. Joshua Cortell drafted a wonderful deal for me, and I am so grateful for his professionalism. He made the whole thing easy, not only the contract itself but the extensions as well. Johnathan helped me with the bikes a couple of times and is also so lovely. And a special thank you to Sal and Shirly. Sal works nights so I did not really get to meet him properly, but I wanted his name here too. All of them genuinely love people. Anyone who crosses paths with them is lucky. The other things I love: the bikes. They are Linus bikes, very high quality, and the hotel makes them available to guests for free. If I lived in LA I would bike everywhere, and Mosaic is the only place I have stayed that makes that easy. And the location is superb. You are in the heart of Beverly Hills, minutes from Rodeo Drive and the shopping, and it is safe and beautiful. There is also something about the scale of this place that I value enormously. It is a boutique hotel, and it is humble. At a big five star hotel you have ten people rushing at you asking about your bags, and there is a stiffness to it, and no privacy. Here it feels like a small family welcoming you home. It is private. It feels like my own place. I have read that Corinthia has acquired this property, and I think it is a brilliant investment. Corinthia London is our go to hotel and we stay there every year, so I know what they do well, and I am genuinely happy this property is in their hands. What makes it special is the people inside it, and I hope that is protected. read more

I have known this place for quite a while. They have a sister hotel that I did a photo shoot at and the pictures and it up in FHM magazine. I love small boutique hotels the service that you get is amazing. They remember the most little things and it is something that I pride myself on doing when I meet clients. These are things that make you want to come back so not only does the mosaic have great food. Great drinks great service great staff, but they make you wanna come back. read more

This is one of the nicest cutest hotels with the friendliest staff! Especially Bob at the bar lounge, he's the best. The pool lounge is a peaceful retreat especially in the evenings by the fire pit. The comfy cabanas have heaters to keep you warm. Mosaic is a gem in Beverly Hills. read more

Bad experience, I stayed in July 2026 Room was 85 all day and night Engineer and front desk staff tried to help still hot all night Didn't sleep at all Manager Sirley arrived at 8 staff informed her of my situation She never returned phone calls or emails Totally unprofessional, unacceptable No smart tvs either So many better options read more

This is a lovely small botique hotel that I thoroughly enjoyed. The staff was amazingly attentive and made the visit special. Jessica, who I encountered first upon check-in, was truly exceptional and impressive. She exemplified a top service-professional mindset and went to every possible length to meet all my requests for room amenities diligently and with enthusiasm. She went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure everything regarding the room and my stay was to my satisfaction. Such can-do service makes all the difference for one's stay, and I definitely plan to go back to this gem of a hotel situated right in the heart of the action in Beverly Hills. read more

We were put in this hotel by my best friend's company to stay in while we found an apartment in LA as we just moved here from NewYork. They spent over a few thousand dollars over three weeks for us to stay there with our two dogs. Our stay would've been amazing given the service provided by Faraz, Rebekka, Art, and Henry, as they went above and beyond to take care of us and make us feel welcomed. However the general manager completely soured our entire experience, due to hostile behavior, unprofessional remarks made in the lobby, and a horrible and dangerous attitude when a payment issue arose with my friend's company. We explained that a new card would be personally delivered to be put on file by the end of day, as the person handling payment for our stay was flying in from New York and would come there once she landed. However Sirley Cuevas, the general manager, decided immediately to threaten me with calling the cops if I didn't vacate the room within thirty minutes, no warning, no prior knowledge to the situation, just immediate hostility. She had only spoken to my best friend and I was unaware of anything going on behind the scenes. Now at first, I was calm but when I realized that they shut off my key so I could not get in and out the room to get our stuff out, I became extremely distressed. Especially when the LAPD recently just shot and killed someone's dog for being excited to see them. I have a golden retriever and he thinks everyone is his friend and I was terrified that might happen. For a manager to behave in such a dangerous and hostile way to guests who have spent so much money at a property and are not even the ones paying as we were put up by a company was atrocious. Now to make matters worse we originally were in one room inside the main building but they moved us to a patio suite (224) to be exact, the couch was covered in suspicious stains and substances on the side, the chair in the room had unsightly stains, and there were roaches popping up through out our stay (see pictures). On top of all this, we were told there were no doubles originally, but requested one as soon as possible, they said they would but never accommodated. A few days ago, I was waiting for Sirley to refresh my key while helping another guest, she took it upon herself to make several rude and degrading comments about how people in my generation are lazy, don't wanna work, and have everything handed to them... This is interesting when you find out online that she is or was a city council woman, and is literally part of the problem with our current socioeconomic status. Either way, I don't want to be insulted and hear her opinions on politics and my generation, nor should I have to. To make matters worse, the bar that is advertised is not open and that is still being advertised on the booking, so you're not able to get any refreshments other than ice and water. She refuses to give her employees access codes to let guests purchase things like sodas, canned drinks, etc. How hard is it to hire a bartender in the interim of your current one being on medical leave? Another example of her inability to perform her job as manager. I will say she did try apologizing to me and admitting it was wrong for her to have threatened me like that, however it is exceedingly dangerous to have someone weaponize the LAPD in a situation that was not dangerous or threatening to anyone's safety. The only threat was Sirley's lack of decorum and at that point I was very upset and let her and the other staff member (phillipa) know exactly how upset I was in the lobby. Sirley, Do better. Your fight was not with us, we are good and nice people, how dare you behave in such a way. I'm hoping this can be a lesson for you to NEVER threaten guests with police who are more than willing to cooperate had you just remained professional. Shame on you. I hate having to leave this review because besides the few unsightly things and inconveniences we really enjoyed the staff mentioned above and they took really good care of us. That's one thing I will not deny. read more

I recently spent six nights at the Mosaic Hotel while recovering from a plastic surgery procedure performed nearby by a Beverly Hills surgeon. We actually discovered this property somewhat by accident. Due to some miscommunication from my surgeon's office, the hotel they typically recommend--where we had stayed before--didn't recognize the surgeon's rate we were expecting, and we suddenly found ourselves scrambling to secure accommodations less than a week before the procedure. In hindsight, the mix-up turned out to be a blessing because the Mosaic ended up being perfect for our needs. We've stayed at several hotels in Beverly Hills and nearby areas like West Hollywood over the years, and this property felt especially comfortable and well-suited for a recovery stay. Frankly, I wish I had known about this property during my prior two procedures and the multi-week stays that went with them. For guests recovering from procedures--and for the loved ones supporting them during recovery--the hotel offers a thoughtful recovery package that includes discounted parking and waived amenity fees, an unusually considerate touch for hotels in this area. Small details like that made a big difference during what could have been a stressful trip. The service throughout our stay was fantastic. The staff were consistently kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful in moments when a little extra humanity went a long way. We'd especially like to recognize Jessica, who helped us several times during our stay with extra pillows and other small comforts that made recovery easier. The rest of the staff were equally accommodating. While I wasn't able to enjoy the bar due to my procedure, the bartender who kindly provided us with ice multiple times was cheerful and service-oriented. Another bonus is the location. Because the hotel sits just off a residential area, it's much better for walking a dog than many other properties nearby, with more green space and lawns available. Do bring your own waste bags, though--the hotel was kind enough to provide small trash liners when we needed them so we could be respectful of the neighborhood residents. The pool area is intimate but quite cute, and it's heated (we were told to around 75 degrees). That's still a little cool for my Florida blood, but I wasn't exactly in condition to enjoy a swim anyway. Still, if I were reading reviews while deciding where to stay, I'd appreciate knowing that detail. My only complaint is that the rooms don't have blackout curtains. Instead, they use very cute shutters that fit the charm of the property--but they don't quite beat the early morning sun. If you're in an east-facing room and hoping to sleep in, it gets bright around 6 a.m. I would recommend bringing an eye mask if you need a darker room, and perhaps it's something the property might consider improving in the future. Overall, I really enjoyed the character and charm packed into this property. It was a very pleasant stay, and what began as a last-minute scramble turned into discovering a true gem in Beverly Hills. When we find ourselves needing a place to stay in Beverly Hills again--or when friends and family ask for recommendations as they begin their own surgical journeys or are just visiting the area--we would recommend the Mosaic in a heartbeat. read more

My family and I will definitely stay here again! It is a beautiful hotel with excellent service and amenities. Not only was the room comfortable, clean, and spacious, but the food was also great! The breakfast burrito and eggs Benedict were my favorite, but I can't wait to come back and try the Nicoise Salad. We also loved how it's located in a prime location (about 5 minutes from Rodeo Drive). Thank you Mosaic Hotel staff for giving us the best hospitality. Everyone was very helpful and nice but I definitely want to give a special thank you to the General Manager, Sirley Cuevas, who ensured our first time staying at the Mosaic Hotel was great. read more

I just heard today that Josh is no longer at the hotel. I have been a guest for over 20 years and know Sandip, the owner through Brenden Carlin who was the best GM they have ever had. Josh is so personable, accommodating, efficient and every guests adores him. He has brought in so much business to the hotel. He marketed to the plastic surgeons, nurses, like myself, beauty industry and more. He was the motivating force that kept the hotel running smoothly. I am actually shocked that they have let him go! What a huge mistake! I am writing to Sandip and Alex personally about this. I won't go back without him there. read more

Future patrons/guest... DO NOT STAY HERE. Details is where it matters. There's always room for improvement... not likely after reading other yelp reviews. Regardless, I decided to experience this myself and give them the benefit of the doubt. Four months later after my stay, I'm still trying to get charges resolve. Read further and view my picture for a better understanding. I stayed for one night and they charged me for two. TWO!!!! I understand parking is not complementary with your hotel stay but look at my booking and reason with me at least. Nope... this hotel is relentless in terms of nickel and dimming patrons. They never mentioned anything about the "Urban Bundle" which is $20 a night. I stayed for one and charged for two. Parking I stayed for one and they charged for two. This is where it got me livid. I did not eat their cashews, dark chocolate bar, nor had any Kind Plus NB.. whatever that is. Simple truth... I did not consume these products. Yet, its on my bill. I called them to work this out because I can see how this might be a mistake and we are human, it happens. But with a one night booking and double charging me for everything else... that is intentional theft. I should have know when I checked in and the staff had no idea where my booking docs where. If you are desperate for $152.70... then I hope you made it count. I will be sure the Better Business Bureau is aware of such business practice. read more

Stayed here one night with a friend...it was her room. the place is a small boutique hotel in Beverly Hills. Very quiet and private. Rooms are average rooms bed was very comfy bathrooms are nice with great products. front check in desk (literally a nice desk) was very friendly. bar is in the front lobby with a seating area towards the back that exits out to the pool area (we didn't take advantage of any of it) we did take advantage of room service (note there is no room service between 11 am - noon)...i had the Cesar salad with grilled chicken (ok...that's not really on the menu but it's what i got) My friend had Brussels and some other items...we enjoyed it all valet only parking...they were nice enough to hold my car after we checked out...until 3:00 (i imagine i would have been charged an extra day if i returned after that). It was a nice hotel and not ridiculously overpriced. If i needed to stay in the area again, I would consider staying here. I usually prefer to pick a Marriott/Bonvoy property which is the only reason I wouldn't stay here again. read more

The bartender was supernice and invented a non-alcholic drink for me using my drink ticket. Don't laugh, I tend to avoid the cocktails and free wine because it makes my face red. Not attractive. Damn, it sucks to be me. I will never stay here. Sad, because the staff were all pretty nice, but I'm certain they use the same fragrance in the rooms and I would have a horrible night like I do at Kimpton - itching from their darn fragrances. read more

Looking for a centrally located boutique hotel in the Beverly Hills area? Look no further than The Mosaic! I recently spent two nights at this hotel and I had a memorable and very pleasant experience... I did have to wait a while upon check-in as there was only one person working at the time and she was helping someone else, but once checked in, it was smooth sailing. My room was clean and just big enough, had a comfortable desk space and bed, and nice amenities. I had a view of the pool area, but didn't get a chance to take advantage of it first-hand. Staff was friendly and I found the location central for walking to the close-by shopping and cafes and Ubering elsewhere. The one thing missing was a full length mirror in my room and the elevator is a tad bit slow... I recommend bringing some bottled water if you stay here too. All of that being said, I would definitely stay here again on future visits, especially if the price was right! read more

Booked five nights at the Mosaic and anticipated a wonderful stay based on reviews and location. Unfortunately, the hotel didn't live up to my expectations! First of all, the room was very nice however had several unnecessary maintenance issues, e.g. light fixtures not working, bulbs in ceiling lights needing replacement. My biggest complaint was housekeeping. Due to COVID, I was informed that housekeeping needed to be requested. I requested housekeeping for the morning of my third day; it didn't happen and no valid excuse given. Requested again and once again, no housekeeping or valid excuse. One final note, still waiting (48 hours later) for my final bill. Service not reflective of an upscale hotel image. Although I have future travel plans to Beverly Hills, those plans do not include a stay at the Mosaic! read more

This place was great and the the customer service was outstanding (other than JOSH). My friend and I stayed here for a few days (Weds-Sat) to relax after surgery and the overnight staff was amazing! They helped out as much as possible and were very informative about the surrounding area. The only issue I encountered with this place is JOSH. I called a few mins ago to inquire about charges on my card. I was simply trying to understand why my card was charged. Once Josh is explained why the card was charged, I stated that I was unaware of the resort fees because my friend booked the room. I wasn't even trying to get the fees removed, but in a very childish way, Josh stated that "maybe your friend should read before booking," and hung up the phone. I'm still giving the hotel 5 stars because it was clean/COVID-friendly and the rest of the staff was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, but I would rather not deal with Josh if I return. Someone should speak to JOSH about tact and quality customer service. Thanks! read more

I had high expectations for this place only to be treated poorly and crappy service. Noise was unbelievably loud, staying in the room was not enjoyable whatsoever. Would ask questions to the person at the front desk only to be responded with an attitude as if we should have known better what they accommodated when we were told different information to begin with. Staff should be on the same page, clearly not with the amount of different information we got. Will not be coming back and definitely not worth the money. read more

We wanted to love this place as the staff have been excellent. But I feel like I can honestly only give it 2 stars as I will not be able to recommend this place to anyone. Pros: - Staff is really nice and very helpful - Location is walkable distance to Rodeo Dr and all those shops - A few minutes away from Westfield Shopping Mall Cons: - Parking is $40+ a night. You "might" be able to park underneath but stalls are extremely tight and many times other guests park horribly and take up 2 stalls. Alternative is to park behind building in a dark sketchy area. Parking is unregulated and while we paid, I've seen many others without the same placard parking for free. Feel ripped off here. Don't charge me $40+ a night without any assurances that I'll have a stall at the end of the night. - Bathrooms smell of sewage (read other reviews this looks to be common for others as well). - Rooms have a bad smell (hard to describe) and we need to open windows every day we get back. - No curtains to cover windows. Lots of light leakage. - Carpet is dirty when we checked in - Single elevator (very slow during normal hours) - Some units seem to be only accessible via stairs (think of a walk up type unit) Last words: As I write this review. I don't see how I could recommend this hotel as they have a lot to do to really make this a desirable spot. Not sure how this place is a 4 star hotel as I'd say it comparable to a mid tier 3 star hotel. If you have that mind set coming in that you're getting a 3 star hotel experience this place can be great. But if you're coming in expecting 4 star then save yourself the trouble and try a different spot. read more

Let me first start off by saying, I am not a big yelper and have only ever left positive reviews for places. I am blown away by the lack of customer service this hotel has. It makes me want to cry thinking of my entire experience and management has yet to even reach out or apologize, which is the least they could do. I stayed in the Mosaic Hotel about 2 weeks ago. Everything was going good until I checked my luggage with the front. I had travel bags that I left with concierge. They gave me a ticket stub to pick them up later. I returned and asked for my bags. Apparently the lady at the front had not labeled my bag and the valet man had placed my luggage in another persons car, not realizing that the luggage was not theirs. I was horrified when I realized that my luggage was placed in someone else car with all my belongings, but ok - stay calm and maybe we can get a hold of these people. There was no number on file and no record of who was the last person to leave. All I got was, "well they said they were heading to the airport". I then asked if there was any kind of reimbursement or anything they could do but I just got blank stares. Then I started to freak out and cry. We called around to multiple guests at the hotel, hoping they were in the same conference as me, called the airport, called rental car agencies... FINALLY I get an answer that my bag is likely at LAX. We look it up and its 2 hours away with traffic. We then drive to LAX and go around to multiple rental agencies. Im asking them to look in lost and found, and getting denied by everyone. By now, 4 hours have gone by. Im freaking out because all of my belongings are in that bag (makeup, hair products and tools, sunscreen, medications, clothes - everything!) and trying not to cry because I'm normally very calm and rational. After driving around for hours, calling multiple places and getting placed on hold and having to figure out what number to dial because I cant get ahold of an actual person instead of an operator, I FINALLY find my bag! However, its in a rental car still and they start to question me because they cant find the key. I have to talk to multiple people and have lengthy conversations in order to tell them that I did not drive that rental, I do not take their car key, and that yes - that is my bag! Now 5 hours later, I've talked them into breaking into the rental car and giving me my bag. Mind you - I was supposed to be at a work function meeting the other team members that night but instead it got turned into a crazy, frantic, stressful wild goose chase. Let me end this by saying the front lady and valet man were very kind to me. I understand mistakes happen. I work in customer service and totally understand that we're all human. However, management did not reach out to me after the incident nor after calling two times to report the incident. There were 3 chances where I tried to make contact and they ignored me when they could have just reached out and at least apologized! Im extremely disappointed and would not recommend this hotel to any of my friends/family read more
