I moved my son into this apartments a year ago, at first everything went smoothly aside from some maintenance issues taking sometime to get addressed. And him having a paid parking spot but sometimes not being able to use it due to someone taking it, office really don't do anything about it either! Fast forward to current and it time for him to move out, his lease was not up until Aug 31, he however moved out mid July so the apartment sat vacant. After about 3 weeks we when back to move the rest of his furniture, upon entering the apartment it was FULL of roaches and rat droppings, I mean FULL. We moved completely out that weekend and I personally made sure the place was cleaned a move in ready. I called and spoke to the manager to set up a walk through for the deposit to be returned, she stated a walk through is not needed just mail the keys back (we live out of state). I knew better but went with it back she was helpful it the past for me. Yesterday, I received his move out statement and noticed he wasn't getting a deposit back because the apartment "smelled like cat urine" he NEVER even had a goldfish in the apartment must less a cat! Now it did in fact have the OWNERS rats in the apartment. They walked in and couldn't find anything to charge him for to keep his deposit so they LIED and made something up that I can't prove because I was told I didn't need to be there for the walk through...now I know why I didn't need to be there!!! Just be aware of their practices! I spoke to someone on there after hours line and she was rude, I asked for a call back for today and yet to get one. I really hope the person in charge of these lies can look at themselves in the mirror with a peaceful heart! read more

I've had a really positive experience living at The Mosaic Apartments. The community is clean and well cared for, the team is easy to work with, and everything runs smoothly. It's been a solid place to call home. I would recommend anyone to reside here at this property! read more

I just wanted to come on here and express my gratitude to the management team at the mosaic apartments. They really do help you out and answer your questions within the same day if they are not able to that same day, they will get back with you the following day read more

mosaic has a great staff and very helpful with the application process. They are a 10 in my book looking forward to getting one of the units

I had applied to the apartments and told them that I needed something within a week. AFTER paying for my application, I was told that no apartments were available. I was told that someone would contact me if something did become available. I did not receive a call. I was also told that my application fee would be refunded. I called again today to see about getting my refund and the supervisor I spoke with was very rude and nasty. She continued to speak over me and was not comprehending anything I was saying. All she could say was, "Well now we have one available." Well having one available today and when I needed one is two different things. She refused to give me my application fee back even after they never ran anything on me. No credit check, background check, absolutely nothing. So therefore, they took my money and are just using it and didn't even run anything. I called the main company Estes that is over them and was told the calls would be pulled. If this is how they treat potential applicants I can only imagine how well actual tenants are treated. Would not recommend, customer service is horrible. read more

The tour was easy, and Sarah was very friendly and knowledgeable. She had an answer for every question, and helped me get my application placed. read more

Very attentive to all the needs and very nice ladies in the front office, went in for a tour and made me feel at home. Apparently they have other communities in the area that I'll need to check out. read more

Me and my boyfriend moved to Beaumont because of work, and out of all the apartments this residence has been the most helpful. Hannah has been awesome at getting back to us, helping with the process, and accommodating any questions or concerns. The area seems really good and the apartment we chose is at a good price and has a lot of space. Love that it comes with a washer and dryer inside the living area. Would recommend to anyone looking for an easy transition. read more

DONT MOVE HERE. Worst experience I've had when moving into an apartment. They didn't have my apartment ready for move in. It was disgusting. There was hairs in every sink, the stove was covered in old grease, there was a leak in the ceiling, every set of blinds was broken, the cabinets in the kitchen were broken and didn't close properly and the entire apartment smelled of weed -- which didn't go away until 2 weeks of moving in. I had to clean everything myself. They didn't want to reimburse me for one night in the hotel that I had to stay in. Instead they could only cover me one days worth of rent. The staff and the owner are some of the most unprofessional people I've ever met. They are so incompetent that they even accidentally sent me an email where they were complaining about me and I'm putting nicely. When they found out they sent me the email they said they were talking about another tenant, which somehow if even true was supposed to make me feel better. The parking is awful and the cover for the parking spaces are deteriorating and could fall at any second. read more

If I could give 0 stars I definitely would. Do not be convinced by the 4 star ratings. These people bribe tenants for good reviews in exchange for a deal off first months rent. Move here if you want to be charged $50 for any minor thing that they describe as "lease violations". And no you don't get a warning , and if you fail to pay the violation they will come into your apartment while you are not home and take anything that they see valuable as collateral. Where was I? Oh Move here if you want to pay $25-30 for covered parking and when you get off from a long day of work you discover someone is parked in your spot . Do they tow it you asked ? Lol there's a sign but towing is NEVER enforced so just park anywhere for free! Hmm what else.. Oh Move here if you want management invading your apartment every month for "inspections" and God forbid don't let anything be out of the ordinary for them , in your own personal space that their intruding in because guess what? That's gonna be $50 Lol . Please save yourself the headache of moving here . There are far better complexes in the city . read more

I am a 6-year resident of what used to be The Collonade Apartments now known as Mosaic Apartments. I and my wife of 13 years are both disabled. She is on S.S.I., my claim is currently pending approval.Last November, our complex was purchased by a Texas-based company called Aloft Property Management Group of Sugarland, Texas.Residents were notified that the company was beginning a $2 Million renovation of the property, including the apartments. We were advised that, upon completion of the renovation, that we would be required to relocate into another, refurbished, apartment. We were assured that we would have a place to live. When our lease came due for renewal, we were refused a full-year lease and forced to accept a three-month lease, with a significant increase in rent. Then began new, "mandatory" bi-monthly unit "inspections".Failure to comply with them would result in a Lease Violation and subsequent fine. Our carport was given to another tenant to use and we were left without a parking space. The main entry / exit point for the complex was fenced off, and a new entance point was opened on the opposite end of the complex. This forced us to find an alternate path of access to our grocey store one mile away. In June of this year, our lease was reduced again to a three-month period. Monday July 3rd we discovered by accident that on Friday September 1st, we will be required to RE-APPLY for an apartment as if were trying to move in for the first time and provide proof of income equal to 3x our monthly rent. Our monthly income is $735.00 and we get assistance with our lights. Our management is aware of this, but they refuse to grandfather us preferring that we relocate,as management "wishes to create an all-new atmosphere" for the younger,able-bodied and employed tenants that they are targeting. We are being evicted soley because we are disabled and vulnerable. Do not look here for a home if you are in a wheel chair. You WILL be turned away as a potential liability to the property's "bottom line". read more
