During the course of my 4th month here I have not heard anything about break ins, cars getting stolen or mugged in the parking lot......I think I've been living in Houston way too long. This complex is very conveniently located on the intersection of Highway 347 and Jimmy Johnson Road (Where there is a whole sleuth of apartments, apartment ally?). Five minutes and you are at work if you work at the Sunoco Refinery Project and a two minute drive to your local HEB. Rent for a one bedroom suite averages to about $530 a month give or take a few dollars. The Asian office manager at that time is pretty pleasant and will explain the details of the rent contract to you. The complex is usually always clean, trash is not thrown around, there isn't anybody trying to show the world that they have a bumping system in their car and no "up to 6 a.m. parties" with wall crashing music to put up with here. Every tenant I have seen here seem to be the working class type of all races. The dumpster has never over flowed, something that I've heard of a lot in other places. I'm almost going to miss this place when the project ends and I have to go back to Houston but what would highly recommend this place to anybody that asks me. I just do not feel the "bad element" here compared to the other places I've heard about. Unit #19 has new carpet by the way *wink*.

I live here and my lease won't be up for a minute. I thought abt breaking it or seein if there's a…read moreway to get out of it. This place is overpriced slums. I had been trying to get maintenance to come out and fix a leak under my sink foreva he came out and looked at it and said he had to order A part, which is ridiculous because Lowe's is across the street. It's still got a small drip. I just keep a bucket under sink. Maintenance smokes ganja during the day (yea I've seen it with my own eyes) which whatever but they ain't do nothin around here. You can hear gunshots most nights and I have had to call the police for that and the loud music shaking the apartments. I have 2 babies and that be real scary. it does no good to call the office or complain. Manager gots an attitude. When you go in the office you don't get a normal hello can i help you. She will look up when she feels like it and ask you "what's up?" The price is here are too expensive for what they are offering. It's like I'm paying for a Wagyu steak and they hand me a burnt chicken liver. The cabinets are pressed wood that are falling apart. When was looking she told me they could put new cabinets but it would be an extra hundred and somethin dollars a month. Which is wild to me! The countertops are spray painted and peeling. The bathtubs are spray painted peeling and moldy already. It looks like my four-year-old painted the walls. paint from the walls on the ceiling paint on the walls paint on the cabinets. Water fixtures are old and need to be replaced. Parking is terrible. I have had to park two buildings over most days. It's really inconvenient when you are trying to get to babies in the house in the rain or cold . I have tried to get reserved parking, but they charge a crazy amount for that and there's a waiting list. They polish it up and make it look "nice" and you don't see the extent of the "landlord specials" until you move in. I would not recommend these apartments to a family of roaches. Really disappointed can't wait until I can move from here. If you thinking about moving here move somewhere else! 2/10 would not recommend!
