This place was amazing! Incredibly historical (Queen Elizabeth 1 actually stayed here back when it was a manor house!), quaint, beautiful, well designed, comfortable and most importantly the food was out of this world! Now you know that I don't whole sale rave about food often but this place was the bees knees! Everything on that table was farm fresh, delivered daily from local farms and of the highest quality! The hotel check in service was polite and efficient but the restaurant staff was wonderful! The chef even came out to my table to introduce himself and talk a little bit about the food! Amazing! I couldn't recommend more or more highly that you at least stop and eat here, even if you can't stay the night. My only complaint was that they rush you out hot in the morning without mercy. Beware of that and be up early and packed up well before check out time! read more
