Harrison and Graham has been in Ponsonby for years and has a good range of frames, including frames for all your hipster needs. They've got a bunch of sweet sunnies as well that can have prescription lenses put in them The prices for eye tests are reasonable, and the staff are generally up for a good yarn. Super cute range of kids frames, just as an aside (including some very excellent kids sunnies that made me wish i actually had a kid to put them on...).

I came here because it was affordable and I needed assistance when reading pages and pages of Uni textbooks. I found that they did a great job assisting me in finding the correct frames that suit my face. Also being an AA member meant I received an examination for only $60! That was fantastic in my eyes as all I need my glasses for is a little extra assistance when I have a lot of Uni work on, or on the computer for long periods of time. Even though these guys aren't top of the line, they're the best for those who cannot afford any better! This is why i rate them so highly. They're giving people of all financial status's the opportunity to get their eyes checked and some stylish frames to help make their lives easier.

Sherry will help find a pair of frames that suit your face and style. The store stocks well known luxury brands such as Tom Ford, Gucci, Dior, Marc Jacobs, Dita, Karen Walker and more. They'll also happily repair sunglasses, replace glass and tighten screws (often free of charge). Excellent service and always with a smile. Definitely bounds above more commercial stores like Sunglass Hut.
