The old one was kind, completely understanding. But the new one, had never cared about students or their mental health, i had a friend, who was problematic because of her mental health, yet they didn't try helping her. And because of her mental health issues and trama, she had done things i wish she hadn't done with me and my friends, so we started getting in trouble, yet the principal DIDNT HELP ANY OF US. So i moved schools for 5th, and it was the best decision i had made :) now i'm in middle school and doing my best!

We have had a very positive experience: teachers, principal, and staff are dedicated, hardworking, and caring; the Dual Immersion Program is an amazing opportunity for students to become fluent in two languages; the Special Ed Department is excellent; the PTO is very involved and active in fundraising and putting on fun events for for students that help to build community; the after-school club offerings have been fun experiences and helpful for childcare. I especially appreciate how the Dual Immersion program focuses on celebrating different cultures and languages. The school has recently become a Community School, which means it will be receiving additional resources/funding to serve the needs of the community. The building and facilities are old, but they are all going to be renovated and modernized within the next couple years (this project has already been approved and the planning stage has begun). I would definitely recommend Valle Lindo to anyone who is looking for a small neighborhood school for their child!

The staff are nice Mrs. Gonzalez was such a great teacher and Mr. Steller along with Mr. Gutierrez. They made my days better and they were the reason I wanted to go to school every single day. The staff were always nice and willing to help. The after school program was extremely fun with activities ready for us to do not only that they were always on top of there game. Everyone pf the teachers were caring and genuinely loved their students, and halped them along. The librarians were nice, as well as the custodians. The yard dutys always keep kids out of danger. The campus is relatively clean, and the playgrounds, blacktop, sandbox, track, and grass areas are all avaliable to kids during recess. They have fostered a love of learning in our child, and she is now reading and writing, and doing math far above grade level, compared to her friends that are in public schools. My family loves Victory Christian Academy and I can't see my kids attending any other school. I recently attended my grandson's 8th grade graduation from Calvary Christian Academy.  What a…read moregreat ceremony with less than 40 students graduating, it went by quickly.  We are so used to sitting on some hot bleachers for two hours before they call your kid's name off the list at other schools. This was in a very nice air conditioned, newly remodeled auditorium. He is my second grandchild to graduate from this school, we still have one more to go and a handful of nieces & nephews who also attend. So overall we have been coming here to school performances and Holiday shows since my eldest grandson started here in 2011. He is now in High School at Mater Dei. I was a bit reticent when they started going to this school because I would have preferred them to attend a Catholic private school. Because we are Catholic. But as usual time has proven me wrong. The wonderful academic excellence and innovation, that this school provides has showed me that, the right choice was made. I see how happy and well rounded my grandkids have become. They are into sports, music; one plays the cello incredibly well. It seems that this school places a high priority on individual achievements, probably due to the 13:1 student teacher ratio. All of this with the added benefit of providing a moral education along with the academic one. The school is very well maintained, and the staff is incredible. Grandparents are treated as special guests; we even have a special day when the kids perform just for us. So, in my humble opinion this is one of, if not the finest private pre-school to 8th grade school in Chula Vista. I am a fan and I guess always have been.
