The world feels a little more unhinged than it did when we were kids, so we did a ton of research before choosing Rosebank. We're so glad we did! The school is welcoming, attentive, and secure, which is a huge deal for us. They also host fun events that bring families and the community together. The staff is friendly and genuinely seems to care about the kids, which is all any parent could ask for. The principal, Mrs. Merghart, is attentive, involved, and clearly invested in the success of the school and its students. We're also a two-mom family, and we have never once felt othered. We have always felt welcomed and included, which was incredibly important to us. The teachers are kind, caring, and consistently go above and beyond, even with limited resources. I have nothing but praise for the entire staff--Dr. Pham, the principal, the teachers, and the administrative team. Their dedication and compassion are evident every day. They've even recently opened a park that is shared with the community, further showing their commitment to creating a positive environment for both students and families. This is a fantastic school.

This is a part of San Diego that's seen little in terms of investment, and homeowner churn (thanks to Prop 13 this means less tax revenue), until recently. This year the school is seeing considerable, much needed, investment with new facilities and improvements which bodes well for future generations of Explorers. Many of the staff have lived and even gone to this or nearby schools, and they truly care about the students and this community. Our daughter went here and learned English as a second language quickly, thanks to the compassion and attention instructors gave her. The principal, Dr. Pham, is a treasure I hope continues to lead Boone's students, staff, and parents into a new age of academic and civic excellence.

What a huge difference! The teachers have been more engaged and involved, and really cared about my son's transition. He absolutely loved going here from 4th - 6th grade. He made some really good friends here. The teachers took an active role in making sure my son got the best education - a big shout out to Ms. Rodgers and especially Mrs. Ruperto. Ever so kind, caring, and communicative, she noticed that my son was not as productive as he could be; and, because of her diligence, my son got the support and help he needed, as he was diagnosed with a mild cognitive learning disorder. He now has the resources he needs to learn efficiently at his pace. I also loved the principal, Dr. Grisier. Never have I seen a principal more actively involved with the staff and students, he's out there directing traffic in the morning and afternoons, walking around just to see and say hi to all the students, staff, and parents. Honestly, this school is one of the best out there.
