We have had a very positive experience: teachers, principal, and staff are dedicated, hardworking, and caring; the Dual Immersion Program is an amazing opportunity for students to become fluent in two languages; the Special Ed Department is excellent; the PTO is very involved and active in fundraising and putting on fun events for for students that help to build community; the after-school club offerings have been fun experiences and helpful for childcare. I especially appreciate how the Dual Immersion program focuses on celebrating different cultures and languages. The school has recently become a Community School, which means it will be receiving additional resources/funding to serve the needs of the community. The building and facilities are old, but they are all going to be renovated and modernized within the next couple years (this project has already been approved and the planning stage has begun). I would definitely recommend Valle Lindo to anyone who is looking for a small neighborhood school for their child!

The world feels a little more unhinged than it did when we were kids, so we did a ton of research before choosing Rosebank. We're so glad we did! The school is welcoming, attentive, and secure, which is a huge deal for us. They also host fun events that bring families and the community together. The staff is friendly and genuinely seems to care about the kids, which is all any parent could ask for. The principal, Mrs. Merghart, is attentive, involved, and clearly invested in the success of the school and its students. We're also a two-mom family, and we have never once felt othered. We have always felt welcomed and included, which was incredibly important to us. Rosebank is a wonderful school, and I would recommend it to any family looking for a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for their child!

When we registered with the district, we were in a zone located directly in the middle of two schools. At first thought, we believed the bigger school was the best option for our child. We were pleasantly wrong. Parkview staff has been excellent. I'd like to thank the principal, Ms Valdivia, and teacher Ms. Stanek. You both are amazing. Our family is forever appreciative for you. The front office, the nurse, the teachers, everyone is amazing. Thank you for all you do. This school has a small town feel. Every staff knows every student. Completely unprofessional unorganized funny when I attempted to see the staff name their badges were turned facing them. When I asked two do you work here no badges I kept trying to read couldn't get names. The football field where the students suppose to talk had wires going all around it hazards They miscounted the chairs to student ratio. So where I am sitting is full but across me empty whole we are tightly on the other side. Staff was yelling at the parents I encourage more than one parent we were pole this is rude. They said "you want to go in" so basically threatening because we stood up for ourselves that we were going to be allowed inside. She was yelling at us "do you do you " honestly I never been treated like that My daughter texting me telling the staff said "if they don't line up they aren't graduating " more threats is this how this school is ran? What a joke. This isn't right there is a way to speak to people if you are overwhelmed then take a break Instead of insulting trust me I am not the only parent today upset. Made what should have been a memorable day and awful experience how disappointing Worst part is my daughter was independent studies and someone dropped the ball to advised independent students they could not decorate the cap. Ms Ruiz took my daughter's cap during the ceremony and refused to come speak to me. I kept asking for her they telephoned her I told them that wasn't appropriate that we were not given the I formation and my daughter had to pay the consequences. I asked for them to show me the email they claimed was sent citing rules and regulations after going back and forth with the staff they replaced her cap with a regular one. My daughter was embarrassed because of the form this Ms Ruiz took the cap from her which given the experience u had from the front staff I doubt it was professional . Some of this staff needs to retire they aren't any better then when I attended school here. Do a transfer whatever you need don't let you kids go here

The high school was really close to my house plus I wasn't really picky. My overall education was average... What really stands was the KMMI video program. I wished I took advantage of this program earlier. I was involved in KMMI as a senior which isn't a long time to develop a solid skill set. I really learned a lot from that experience. I even had the opportunity to shadow the Unknown Eater from Channel 8. Also at that time Montgomery had a very impressive marching band. They've won a lot of competitions during my time. Currently, the school is going through a much needed renovation. I've had so many good memories and met so many good friends while at Montgomery High School. While the facilities weren't the best I made do with what they had. Sometimes you just have to deal with it. GO AZTECS!

My daughter came in mid year without knowing how to read and write, along with math! She finished the year exceeding expectations in all areas. Security staffs are true professionals and vigilant. Sports teams are sized perfectly allowing any child a chance in various if not all sports of their choice! If I had to say a worst, honestly I would have to say Victory is underrated, this school and all its facilities staff made it a priority to assist in any issues I had, and the school events give my daughter so much pride being apart of Victory.

Mrs B. in Kindergarten is an amazing teacher who brought our child's academics to the next level, all the while fostering a safe and nurturing environment. She was an instrumental part of our child's growth over the past year, and is the main reason our youngest loves her school so much. She is an absolutely wonderful teacher. Mrs Ashley in first grade, and Mrs Kohl, in second grade, worked closely with our oldest daughter for the past two years. I can't say enough about these amazing teachers. They have fostered a love of learning in our child, and she is now reading and writing, and doing math far above grade level, compared to her friends that are in public schools. My family loves Victory Christian Academy and I can't see my kids attending any other school. The Principal, teachers and families are all top notch and together they have created a very special school. If you are looking for a safe and engaging school that has high academics, a focus on biblical studies and an amazing staff, this is the school for you.

I recently attended my grandson's 8th grade graduation from Calvary Christian Academy.  What a…read moregreat ceremony with less than 40 students graduating, it went by quickly.  We are so used to sitting on some hot bleachers for two hours before they call your kid's name off the list at other schools. This was in a very nice air conditioned, newly remodeled auditorium. He is my second grandchild to graduate from this school, we still have one more to go and a handful of nieces & nephews who also attend. So overall we have been coming here to school performances and Holiday shows since my eldest grandson started here in 2011. He is now in High School at Mater Dei. I was a bit reticent when they started going to this school because I would have preferred them to attend a Catholic private school. Because we are Catholic. But as usual time has proven me wrong. The wonderful academic excellence and innovation, that this school provides has showed me that, the right choice was made. I see how happy and well rounded my grandkids have become. They are into sports, music; one plays the cello incredibly well. It seems that this school places a high priority on individual achievements, probably due to the 13:1 student teacher ratio. All of this with the added benefit of providing a moral education along with the academic one. The school is very well maintained, and the staff is incredible. Grandparents are treated as special guests; we even have a special day when the kids perform just for us. So, in my humble opinion this is one of, if not the finest private pre-school to 8th grade school in Chula Vista. I am a fan and I guess always have been. I highly recommend this illustrious private school!

These teachers pray for their students, they take the time to make sure things are prepared for their students. And the director and assistant director or wonderful. This is a wonderful, safe and healthy environment for any preschool family from any form of background. One thing I loved about this school when I first started working there was even if you don't believe or aren't a Christian, this school will still accept you. And that to me, shows their true hearts.
