If you don't mind having your car vandalized by the staff: it can be a kinda-fun hour.

I immediately noticed that most of the staff did not smile or interact in a happy way with the little toddlers . They constantly barked out corrections to the kids and someone was always in the director , Traci's office being talked to . They eventually kicked our little girl out of the school because she had occasional accidents in her pants. No consideration given to the fact that she might be somewhat behind because of her extreme prematurity. She was very upset to leave all her friends and cried when she couldnt return to class. The staff atDCA are very impatient unless your child is perfect and few are. They really shouldn't be in the childcare business in my opinion. They really put the " Christian"in Delaware Christian academy..... not. Save $200 a week on go elsewhere! But they have a good variety of free weights, dumbbells, and machines. Most of it was equipment I was familiar with, although there were a few things I hadnt seen (a nice change from your typical bally's/24 hour fitness cookie-cutter gyms). Plenty of heavy weights, and lots of options for every body part spread out through three different rooms (which appeared to be former racquetball courts). One foam roller also. I could see things getting a little cramped if it was busy, but it was pretty dead on this Saturday morning, and space was not an issue. Although I have no plans to return to Marion again, I definitely will return here for a workout if I do.

As someone who danced throughout childhood, I have continuously been impressed with the level of dance instruction and choreography-the best around! My three girls get to choose from an array of styles of dance, and with the patience and experience of the instructors, I am always amazed to see every class pick up each routine quickly! Most of all, I love PADC for the confidence it has given my three girls. My oldest has developed into such a confident preteen, coming out of a very introverted and shy shell as a child. The staff is always positive and encouraging, lovingly firm in pushing the kids to dance to their capabilities and each child who walks through that door is treated as if he/she is family. I can't recommend PADC enough for anyone wanting to begin their dance journey.

Blocks and blankets are provided. The atmosphere was open, welcoming, and completely non-judgmental. (How often does that happen in life?) Both instructors were fabulous. Their instructions were clear, their voices loud enough to hear but not interfere with movement or posture. Corrections as well as modifications were offered in a gentle manner. I don't live in Delaware but I have family there so I will definitely go back. Both classes were wonderful and I look forward to trying some of their other classes.

Kenyon is home to one of the most exciting athletic centers of any small college in the country. Spacious, welcoming, architecturally stunning, and equipped with top-flight facilities, the Kenyon Athletic Center opened in January 2006. Soaring glass walls, arching steel trusses, and sleek lines make for a dramatic design. Open views and abundant natural light throughout the building promote the friendly interactions that shape Kenyon's spirit of community. In 2020, the Kenyon Athletic Center was renamed the Lowry Center to honor William E. Lowry Jr. '56 H'99, a three-sport Kenyon athlete. The building features the 200-meter Barrett A. Toan Indoor Track, an Olympic-sized pool named the James A. Steen Aquatic Center within the Lowry Center, the 1,600-seat Tomsich Arena for basketball and volleyball, the stunning 12,000 square foot state-of-the-art Patterson Fitness Center that houses over 200 pieces of exercise equipment, and the 120-seat Beulah Kahler Theater for game film review and team meetings. There was lots of activity like a basketball game in the arena, a swim meet, students working out at the Lowry Center. I swam in the Steen Aquatic Center that was wonderful because the college hosted the Special Olympics Ohio South Central Swim Meet which first class for a NCAA Division III school. The Kenyon Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Teams have won multiple National titles in NCAA Division III. The facilities has lots of historical things of the past accomplishments in sports at Kenyon College. I will have to come back to work out and swim with the help of Kenyon student, facility member, or alumni. It is one the best facilities for a small college because it has every thing that a student, facility member, alumni, and guest needs. Thank you.
