So had a small problem since I was traveling from NC to the Newark area from out of town. I needed…read morea Gym for a few days nothing fancy just something I can come and go and get a good workout in before and after all of the Thanksgiving food. I called around and came across Workout Anytime and talked to Brenda (owner) and she was very helpful and offered to let me workout there and give me 24/7 access to the gym during the Holidays. I used to live in Newark about 10 years ago and was very familiar with the area and was happy to see this new addition. The gym is is not all that big, but has pretty much every machine you could possibly want to use. I especially like the virtual bike trainer, something I have never seen before with a spin bike. They also offer a hydro message machine that is really nice. My only complaint would actually be on the virtual trainer bike as with most spin bikes you have at least an RPM or Mileage display. This has neither so as the virtual instructor is giving you direction you are trying to match leg movement vs keeping the RPM's he is requesting. My suggestion would be is the add a display on the bike for this or just get some spinning bikes that have this already on it.

My previous rating for this place was completely unfair to the staff in the daycare at this…read morelocation. They were basically getting rid of a problem. My ex Jessica Swan-Young allowed her kids to do pretty much anything. She also teaches them to steal as she stole my house from me out there at 29 N 12th St. She hasn't paid since December 2022 also skipping October 2022 and continues to stay there. Someone just bought it from me in August via Sheriff's auction but can't follow through with the purchase since she refuses to talk to anyone or leave. She's a very bad person wish we had laws that would deal with her how she deserves. So of course her daughter Brianna was acting out causing trouble for others here! She was around 4 at the time. Her mom is a very vindictive person who pretends not to be. The staff here treated me with decency and from what I can tell were doing what they could to make the kids feel special.
