Great selection and awesome service. The music shopping experience was wonderful. I will be back.

This is the most organized and clean record shop I've been too. You walk in and everything is categorized by genres (most are divided with slots with the artists/bands name), new releases for used records, newly pressed records. All records are covered in plastic protectors (even the dollar bins!). They do have a great selection and noticed that a lot of the vinyls were not scratched. What impressed me the most is that they have private listening stations, a seating area to chill and enjoy complimentary coffee/water. Next to it was a cool jukebox you can listen to! So cool! I was blown away by their high end quality audio (speakers, turntables etc). They do sell Audio Technica if you are on a budget. If I ever get the funds, I would like to invest on the speakers! The staff is extra friendly and helpful. There was a certain soundtrack I was looking for, they didn't have it in stock but was willing to take my number and call me when they get it in. At the end of our check out, they mentioned a rewards programs. It's free to sign up and at the end you save money. I bought mostly used vinyl. You buy 5 used vinyl and get the 6th free. Not bad. My Mr. scored two new reissued records, one he's been looking for The Misfits and Stone Temple Pilots (for me). Overall, we had a great experience and look forward to coming back again. read more

Are you a vinyl junkie like myself? Well, I have some SOUND advice for you. Take a drive down Dixie Highway into Florence, KY and pay a visit to Morrow Audio. Trust me, you'll be glad you did. This is one great vinyl shop and more! The building itself is a little unassuming on the outside, but once you walk in, you'll be astounded by all the great selections in store. Vinyls are all around as well as vinyl players and epic, ground-shaking speakers. Wanna give a vinyl a listen before making your decision? Take it to one of their comfy private listening stations. One thing that really set this place apart from other vinyl shops was the amazing organization. All the vinyls were SUPER easy to go through and find what I wanted (Including some Misfits, Stone Temple Pilots, David Bowie, Peter Gabriel and MORE! But that was just me and my lady!) The staff are all super friendly and knowledgeable too. The kind of staff that makes you wanna return soon... And we likely will! I believe in the adage "everything affects the sound." I also believe that there should be great audio cables to fit all budgets - and I found them here. The web site is clear, and ordering is a breeze. Communication from is outstanding and the finished product is exactly what I'm after. These guys will get more of my business for sure read more

Just went in here after a Twitter announcement from my favorite band saying that Morrow would be one of select few stores worldwide with a free early release Flexi disc of their new single. Of course I had to get one. Got to Morrow at around 11:20 (they open at 11) and was told by a woman at the front that she didn't know anything about them and to call back later. I said thanks anyways and left. Called back at noon. They said they had sold out. Instead of actually fucking checking for the discs when I was in the store, the woman just immediately dismissed me saying she didn't know and continued to chat with another employee. Did the discs just poof into existence or did she actually get around to checking after her very important chat? I guess I'll never know because they went to someone else. Shake-It Records is better anyways lol. read more

this is by far my favorite record store i've been to!! i went in thinking, oh they may not have anything i would want, but i was completely wrong. they had everything i could want and more! their selection is amazing for pop/rock and for hip-hop and r&b!! i had to limit myself here, though i will be back asap. read more

Morrow Audio - outside - Electronics Near Me - Florence, Kentucky

Received two pair of broken-in MA-4 RCA to RCA interconnects. I have done one very long evening of listening. In my system these cables are far superior to Cardas Gold Reference cables which I have had for some years. Those cables were the Cardas top of the line interconnect at the time I purchased them. Conclusion - the Morrow product is absolutely wonderful, fairly priced and a real find. I have listened in a system which includes products from Quad, Magnepan, Oppo and a near perfect Mike Elliot and Johnson Wu modified NP-100 amp. The Morrow is correct in perspective, it is revealing, musical, faster than Cardas and just plan involving. I am no audio reviewer. I know music and this product is the real deal. Good audio equipment and repair! Record selection is okay and could be expanded on/priced a little more fairly. I know most stores just use Discogs to price their stuff these days but c'mon live a little! Would have given this place 5 stars but they will only get 4 stars due to their misleading name! I drove all of the way out to Morrow trying to find this place only to find it's in Kentucky! Why not called it Florence Audio and Records? I wish Morrow had a record store. They used to in the 70's and my aunt worked there! read more

Really nice place. They have put some thought into the inside and it shows. They have a fairly diverse collection that I hope will grow (record stores get better with age, I think) the Listening room is deluxe! Seats and tables so bring a friend. They also have some older rehabbed gear to check out, new turntables and record cleaners. They also have some services like record cleaning. All in all a good place to go back to. read more

Found out about this record store yesterday and drove 45 mins to check it out. Been wanting a record store like this for some time. I used to drive to Louisville for all my vinyl needs, the 2 stores that I used to frequent often have either closed permenently or are a shadow of what they used to be...I was devestated when the first place closed and extremely dissapointed the last time I visited the other...I've done most of my record shopping online ever since, desperatly hoping a new shop would pop up within close proximity soon, it seems like 10 years or more have passed, and finally it has happened! I cant tell you how excited I was to learn of Morrow this morning...Upon first entering the store I could tell instantly that this was going to be a good experience, the place was super clean, good music coming thru the stereo speakers, nice audio equipment everywhere and a huge well organized selection of new and used vinyl!! Ahhh heaven....I started my hunt in the new section and was really suprised to see such a wide selection of genres. I primarily listen to rock in all its incarnations and boy do they have it. As soon as i stumbled across a reissue of "Safe as Milk" by Captain Beefheart I was positive I would find some good stuff here...and I did..my usual go to when i first enter a new record store is head to the M section and see if theres any Melvins in stock, if there is, its worth looking thru the rest of records...i've used that for years and its always been fruitful...they did have some Melvins vinyl in stock by the way...the new section in my personal opinion was a bit more diverse and had more to offer then the used section, but thats to be expected in a store thats still in its infancy...I believe this store has the potential to be the best in the tri state area within a few years time if it heads into the direction I feel its already heading...the owner was super nice and so was his beautiful associate...she even offered me a card to write down what kinds of genres and/or music I would like to see in stock for future visits...needless to say i filled the card with some ideas...overall the entire experience was great, loved the decor and the sounds and the selection! Its soo nice to be able to walk into and shop at a real record store again and I am forever grateful to the owner for making that dream a reality again. So to all vinyl fanatics out there, stop in when you have the chance and support this business, you won't be dissapointed! Lets keep this store alive for years to come!! read more
