We stopped in recently while in the area and browsed for a while. My husband found a cool album to take home while I browsed the vintage clothes in the back corner. The prices are fair on both the albums and the vintage clothing. I also saw a couple of albums that interested me and may go back for soon. We'll stop in again to add to the record collection.

It may be small but you will be surprise with the selections of music. Everything was categorized and easy to find. Jazz, Rock, R&B Soul, Soundtrack, Rarities, etc. I would rather go to a record shop that is not too huge. It can be overwhelming and overkill when there is way too much. My boyfriend and I found quite a few old school vinyls for reasonable price. There was even one soundtrack I was shocked to find and it was only $5.95! Definitely made my day. Besides vinyls they sell T-shirts and even turntables. They even have a listening station. The owner was very friendly on giving me tips on finding some good speakers for my new turntable I got for Christmas. I was pleased with MetaModern Music and can't wait to go back to purchase more vinyls!

It's a pretty small store overall, but the selection they pack into this small space is incredibly impressive. So many great and obscure records to choose from. Pricing is very reasonable..some used stuff for a couple bucks..new stuff for honestly lower prices than I've seen at any other record store in the area. The guy that runs the place is cool too. Seems to be pretty knowledgeable in all things music..I mean if he's the guy that stocks this great stuff than he'd have to be. Highly recommend this store to any and all music lovers in the area. I hope it sticks around for a long time..can't wait to go back!
