Having lived in a flat for a year where the view from my kitchen window was simply Morrisons, I made frequent visits here - for picking up little bits and bobs (such as milk and bread), for stocking up during proper weekly shops and when spoiling myself and treating my friends to a luxury meal. This Morrisons has everything. I love the layout and managed to find my way around the store easily on pretty much my first visit. Everything is just where you expect it to be. And the selection is fantastic. I became a big fan of everything Morrisons when I lived nearby - excellent quality. Additionally, there is a butchers, a bakery, a fishmongers as well as a pharmacy (open until 10pm some days) and a dry cleaning service - all much-needed in Anniesland. My only negative is the queues. This store is always busy and you will alwaaaays have to queue. Other than that, top notch.

I had this recommended to me by my employer, as she knows how addicted I am to picking up bargains,…read moreand so I stopped by for a quick visit. I'm afraid it was neither my style nor within my price range despite the fact it was second hand - or gently used as described on the shop front. I did get some strange looks from the woman behind the counter when I entered the shop too, so I get the impression I was not their targetted or desired customer - I think a classier, slightly older lady was expected, one who looks a bit more well-off too! It is all designer clothing, after all. Still, it's a very nicely set out shop - and all the stock couldn't look less second hand - beautifully treated. Maybe I'll come back when I get a proper career and a bit more cash to splash.

Technically this store is a second hand shop but really it is in a league of its own! You would not…read morebelieve a single thing in here is anything less than brand new! A lot of it even still has the tags on! You can tell that the owner of the store knows exactly what she is doing. She only selects the best of the best with nothing looking dated or "last season", think more classic and timeless, which is what you want when you're spending this kind of money. While you can definitely pick up a bargain at Isabella's Wardrobe it is a bargain relative to the items original cost. You can pick up a good as new Chloe bag for around £400 but you have to bear in mind that it would have originally been about £600-£800! This isn't a shop I can afford to buy from often but when I get my bonus this year I will definitely be popping in to buy myself to an extra special little treat!

Life (women) is situated just off Dumbarton Road by Partick Subway Station…read more It's a surprisingly large shop for its location - and has some really nice stock. It mainly sells going out clothes - including a lot of short sparkly tunics. The best thing about this shop is it's stunning selection of shoes! It has absolutely gorgeous heels - that are all very glamourous. They are, however, quite pricey - at about £80 a pair. Keep an eye out for sales, though, as there were a pair of shoes reduced from £80 to £25.

If you are into massive, rectangular diamante encrusted dresses, then you would probably like this place. There's a lot of Saturday night party wear in here, geared at varying age groups and tastes, and a smaller selection of punky-turned-girlie styled t shirts that have been ripped off the shoulder on purpose. It's fairly expensive but what would dishearten me if I liked this sort of thing that the woman's branch looks slightly cheapened. It reminded me a little of those tacky clothes shops that have popped up more often during the recession on the grave of another lost chain store. It looks a wee bit like it sells fake designer clobber (it's not, but that's how it looks) and like it's trying so hard to be trendy that you'd only keep these clothes for a couple of months before getting bored with them. Saying that, my eyes are untrained to clothes like this since I dress myself in Sally Army granny jumpers, so have a wee nosey and make your own mind up. This is a long established store in this area so it's hitting the mark with some people!

When you walk in, you clearly get the vibe that this is a university student's frequent haunt. As we shopped here, students came in and out, receive a discount, and generally have their needs met with the types of clothing available. However, the selection of clothes in the store isn't so student oriented that a wider audience won't be able to find something of interest. The first floor is more women's oriented, with tartan featuring prominently. The second floor is men's, which had some decent selections of Fred Perrys and the like. When we were there, the store was staffed just by a couple girls on the first floor, and they were pretty deep in conversation with each other. Didn't bother us at all, but perhaps don't expect to have staff catering to your every need here. But if you just like to do your thing and browse through the racks, you should be well sorted.,

TL;DR bad quality, overpriced, cheeky response. Would like…read moreto say the staff member on when I was in was lovely. However... I spent good money (too much) on trousers that had an irreparable defect that I did not notice until I put them on at home. I understand this is a risk with 2nd hand clothing, and places don't accept returns etc, but I do draw the line at paying ~£30 for something I literally can't wear. I messaged their instagram page about it and expressed my disappointment that they weren't willing to reconcile this in any way (I said I felt this was poor customer service) and the message I received back was so cheeky I am honestly in disbelief. So here I am doing the only thing I can do since I've literally wasted my money.
