From the time I first walked into the exam room I was treated with empathy and respect. Being prepped by PA Megan a 16 year associate of Dr. Bhatia was wonderful. Dr. Bhatia was amazing. He was kind and explained every step of the way what procedure they were going to do. He talked to me throughout the entire process to keep my nerves at bay. I was bandaged and sent to the waiting room for over 2 hours while the first layer was examined. Then it was back for round two. This time NA Faith was assisting. She was great and gentle reassuring me the whole time. Another layer and again I was bandaged and back to the waiting room for more tissue to be diagnosed this time about 1 1/4 hours. Back to the exam room with NA Faith where I was pronounced cancer free!! Now more fun by younger Dr. Bhatia no relation who is interning who applied several layers of skin graft. Might as well double it up since he said it was very expensive. It was a precision job to do it but it's in place. Then the final bandaging by NA Faith with an appointment back to my Podiatrist for possible plastic surgery. They advise you that you will be spending the day there. 7 hours later they were correct. I left the office with love and respect for everyone that was part of my team. I more than ever agree that 5 stars aren't enough for the wonderful care I received. I have had 5 procedures done by Dr. Chen. Dr. Chen was recommended to me by several other Physicians. That speaks volumns. Dr. Chens work speaks for itself. The procedures I had done were pretty serious surgeries. Dr. Chen and his staff made me feel completely comfortable with each procedure. All risks as well as rewards were thoroughly explained to me. Dr. Chen is an extremely honest guy, and will be up front about everything. Every question answered, every phone call returned. DR. chen, Hillary, and Tina would make time for me if it was the simplest of things. Dr. Chen and his staff takes their work seriously and Dr. Chen takes great pride in his work, as evidenced in the end results of the procedures he does. I saw a doctor in Joliet who automatically was suggesting that I might have a tumor or MS. I have scoliosis and was hoping it was a pinched nerve. He suggested that I get an MRI of the neck and brain. Being a frugal shopper, I shopped around because I have a huge deductible that wasn't met. The cost of a neck and brain MRI is pricey but I discovered that FDG included the radiology report among other things. I also discovered that they are one of the most competitively priced diagnostic facilities in the area. I went in and was not disappointed at all by the friendly front desk staff and professional techs. I read the last review and found it hard to believe that a tech would offer assessment information because when I asked a tech if she could tell me if she saw anything scary she told me that the radiologist is the one that is able to make the assessments and would provide a thorough report on the findings. Even though it was a holiday weekend (Labor day weekend) I had my report forwarded to my doctor on Friday ( I came in on the day before which was Thursday). Now I don't know if the reports will always come so quickly but I feel that the radiologist might take a quick peek at imaging stuff to see if there is anything glaringly obviously wrong, then would place that on a priority screening (I think but I have no idea what really is their policy, perhaps they stick to a fist screen first read; I don't know). Either way, my experience at Future Diagnostics Group was as good as could be expected under the circumstance of sitting in a MRI booth with knocks and pings, but that really wasn't that bad either, I was actually falling asleep and felt very relaxed. Would I recommend FDG for other screenings? Yes. Of course you should do your homework and shop around if you need to but I don't think you would be disappointed. All I could say is that the staff was nice and professional and that was good enough for me. M.B.

I just wrote a review for Future Diagnostics at New Lennox because I didn't see this location... oops... this is the location I had MRI done. It's located in Joliet. Well worth the drive from Chicago!! Everyone was so professional, medically knowledgeable and so very kind and caring!!! And the MRI cost was nearly 1/3 less than the hospital I was referred to originally. I was able to get in so soon after calling!! Lori Russ is phenomenal!!! All of the MRI techs are great!! Each person I interacted with was professional, so knowledgeable and so very kind! And, each person really took the time and listened to what had been occurring with me medically..so refreshing!! I do understand that there are many regulations regarding opioids but there is no reason why a patient should go through excruciating pain after surgery like I did. I came here and they found that I have mono and an enlarged spleen due to the mono. It made so much sense!! Jenn was my doctor and she was awesome. You have confidence that she truly knows what she's doing! The nurse that took me back and took blood, took vitals, etc. was also so kind and inviting. I didn't catch her name, but I was really thankful for her. Everyone was friendly and attentive. The receptionist was extremely kind too! I got in very quickly, even as a first time visitor. Overall it was just an awesome experience! The medicine they put me on had finally allowed me to comfortably eat. And they called back the next day to check in and go over my blood tests.
