Had looked at one at Zeigler Subaru Kenosha,a nice 2015 Black Toyota Corolla S on my way home from tying up the wrecked vehicle loose ends.It was excellent ,but had more miles then the other ones ,but was the newest in terms of years. All of the other dealers reached out to me,and I must say we're quite persistent (being kind in my description).Russ Darrow did reach out ,but weren't as overbearing. I decided to give them a chance ( had bought a Mini Van from them almost 20 years agoat their Waukesha location) and just headed out.Met up with Ashton to look at their blue 2014 Toyota Corolla S. Ashton was pleasant and didn't try to pressure me,making it easier for me to look objectively. Test drove it,and then asked if I could have my mechanic look at it.Unfortunately my mechanic is in Waukesha, so he asked the Manager if it would be alright, he said no problem. Took it in and my guy said it was really clean and in great shape.Decided to go back and make an offer, told him where I wanted to be,out the door.Their price was reasonable, but I knew where I wanted to be.Ashton was able to get within $300 of where I wanted to be,seeing as I had also seen a list of work done on the car to get it ready for sale,it was all things that can add up,but since they were done alr,it save me a fair amount $1200 that I would otherwise need to do,so I took that into account and decided to pull the trigger.Their finance Manager had the paperwork ready in minutes,as I was paying cash. From the time I said yes,to taking possession, was only like 15 minutes .The only reason I don't give them 5 Stars ,they kept mentioning( jyst a few too mant timez)they were already underwater by $4000,but they did attempt to reach what I wanted to,but I felt satisfied and good about my decision. Realistically I didn't experience what many of the reviews say,all I can say is I would recommend them based on my experience.

I went in to look at a ford transit connect I saw was available online. Talked to the salesman which he said was AVAILABLE and everything looked good. I test drove it and told the salesman I wanted to buy it. He then goes to get the final numbers from his sales manager which we agreed upon and I signed the paperwork! They had me fill out their online paperwork for financing and ran my credit. About 10 minutes later both the salesman and manager Rob come back. Rob tells me that he's sorry but he's not able to sell me the vehicle anymore because one of their other Russ Darrow dealer "sold" someone that car earlier in the day and they were there to pick it up. After Ive already been there more than an hour test driving it and signing their paper work for it with the final price, they even pulled my credit and everything!!! Rob then tells if he had it his way I would've been able to buy the vehicle because I signed paperwork to buy it and it was available in the system. Rob says that all I can do is write a bad review to his corporate because it "wasn't his fault but corporates fault" and he's sorry for what happened. Even though he essentially gave the green light for me to buy it and didn't know it was already sold. It was an awful circumstance they put me in and actually makes no sense at all. they ran my credit for no reason after telling me I could buy the vehicle...just terrible!!!! The sales manager Rob is very incompetent he should've known the vehicle wasn't available. And then it just keeps getting worse. I contact corporate and Shane calls me to explain that he's really sorry and it shouldn't have gone down that way I should've just been turned way when I asked if the ford transit was available. He says there's nothing he can do besides have his team try to find me another ford transit and he'll send me information on them. So I agree if that's the only thing they can do I had to take it which is still bad as it is. He said it'll take like 3-10 days. So far it's been 12 days and I haven't heard anything from them they haven't even sent me one ford transit as an option. I've talked to people that work at other dealerships...good ones and they have been in disbelief with what I went through at Russ Darrow. I will continue telling everyone I know to stay far far away from any Russ Darrows....It's simply a bad shady business with awful management and corporate. Don't give them your business they don't deserve it.

I would like to start off with my initial thought on my truck purchase. Ryan Z was an incredible…read moresales person. I inquired about a truck via the internet and he was so proactive! He went right out and did a video for me of the truck and sent it to me right away. I was impressed. After passing on a truck here in Green Bay I decided to take a ride. I ended up buying the truck that day!! Everything went perfectly from test driving, to financing, to negotiations on my trade, etc. I left that evening feeling pretty good. There were a few noticeable things that needed attention but they all were minor... I thought. I got home and proudly showed my wife. Then things went south a bit. The next morning I couldn't wait to go for a ride in my truck. It was then the check engine light came on. I stopped by my mechanic and he checked the codes and it was for lean fuel rails. He said I could still drive it but to contact GB Ford to rectify the situation. I called and Ryan referred me to the service department and they quickly set up an appointment to check it out. So, another 3 hour round trip had to be made to check what was wrong. After the analysis they came back with the diagnosis that the aftermarket items on the truck were causing the codes and to fix it was about $3300!! They stated that they had documented on the window sticker about the aftermarket items and therefore it wasn't their responsibility. What they didn't document was that they cleared the codes for my test drive. My mechanic said it was highly unlikely those codes just appeared overnight. I was deeply disappointed. A couple days later I was setting things up to my liking and found out 3 out of the four door speakers were blown. So, I contacted Best Buy here in Green Bay to do the repairs. It turned out one speaker had corrosion on the connector and they fixed that but the back two door speakers were shot but in addition the wiring harnesses in the back were beyond repair so I had to go to my mechanic and the total to get the speakers replaced, the front speaker repair, and the door harnesses was about $700. I talked to Ryan about it and he felt they wouldn't be able to do anything despite my telling him it was disclosed on the window sticker that the stereo was in good working condition. It basically fell on deaf ears. So it was January and due to the codes my remote start wouldn't work which was another disappointment and due to the proximity of the needed repairs it wasn't covered under my extended warranty for the fuel rails. So that brought up another issue. I had taken out an extended warranty on my trucks drive train and engine for peace of mind as it had 100k miles when I bought it. I decided to cancel that warranty as I wasn't experiencing any issues outside of the fuel rails. I contacted GB Ford and was referred to my finance guy Larry who did the loan for me. I let him know I wanted to cancel the extended warranty. He wasn't very pleasant about doing it and get this, it was required that I drive all the way to West Bend - 3hour round trip - just so he could read the mileage!!! I suggested a photo I could take and send to him. He said no. I suggested a video of me by the truck, opening the door, turning the key on, and videoing the dash with the mileage. He again said no and that HE physically had to see the mileage to prorate the balance owed to be credited back to the credit union I got the loan through. So, I decided to put this out there to all of you to really watch things and know for sure what is going on. I feel they knew of most of the issues but didn't want to do the costly repairs. Today I set up my appointment for the 100k mile tune up, an oil change, repairing the necessary things to eliminate the lean fuel codes, and a couple little things I need done. Thank you Ryan, sorry Larry but I am disappointed in you, and a big downer to the sales manager for not returning my calls and voicemails regarding these issues. I would have gladly given a 5 star rating if this was handled correctly.
