As someone who has a genuine fear of dental visits due to negative past experiences, I can honestly say that my appointment with Dr. Halasa exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, both Dr. Halasa and his assistant were kind, professional, and welcoming. They kept me informed throughout the entire procedure, answered all of my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. One of my biggest concerns was not being fully numb and feeling pain during the procedure. Of course I paid that because discussing a redo, we wouldn't really know if it was an option. Turns out my insurance did pay part and the office sent the refund check right after my insurance processed the claim. Dr Wittenauer was very sensitive to my reactions and made adjustments as he worked. I highly recommend him for root canals and consultations. To find someone willing to do retreat a root canal can be rare. And the decision was totally up to me, I didn't feel pressured one way or the other.
