Most of the boarders have been there a long time. I recommend this facility for boarding your horse.

She…read moreprovides the upmost care to her horses and deeply cares about their well being--To a point that I really wouldn't trust any other trainer as much as I trust Lara. As for training technique, Lara somehow knows exactly what both horse and rider need to succeed, and succeed in a safe, friendly environment. I took a long break from riding to go to law school and came back as an adult amateur. I had never competed in a horse show prior to training at Vintage Lane, but with just over 1 year of training with Lara, I took home a reserve champion ribbon in my first schooling show, and a champion ribbon in my first A-rated show. I'm still so amazed by these results! I'm so thankful and grateful to Lara and the whole Vintage Lane Team! Vintage Lane is easily my home away from home and the place where I am at my happiest. I feel so lucky to get to ride with Lara and the Vintage Lane family!!! If you are looking for a new barn to ride at in the Bay Area, I'm telling you, you won't find one better than this one!!!

You can also walk down a quiet road or ride in the hills on a trail if your horse is ok with cattle. Nessa is always coming up with creative, challenging lessons so I have learned a lot. And the showing is fun! The down side is that the facility owner raises the board $50 a year, every year. The stalls are barely covered in shaving even when I offered extra money for more. And if you want to replace the tattered mats you pay for it. The investment in the barn itself is minimal. But my horse gets an in and out stall, which is great so that is good. And the people are all great...love my barn friends and those who work here.

Unlike half of her students, I don't own my own horse, so I ride one of her ten incredible horses. If you've ever taken lessons at other barns with their typical "lesson horses," you'll be amazed at the difference here. The quality and temperament of Nessa's horses are unmatched in the Bay Area. I started my lessons on a very experienced horse that kept me safe and taught me so much, taking me through the journey from walking over poles to jumping to 2' fences! As I progressed, I earned the incredible opportunity to ride Grand Prix horses in my lessons! This kind of experience is truly unique and invaluable. Nessa's friendly and always smiling demeanor makes every lesson fun and enjoyable. I can't recommend Nessa Cossentine Equestrian enough for anyone looking to improve their riding skills in a positive and supportive environment!

Hi! This is for anyone and everyone who has a high energy dog, and is aware of their dog's…read morecharacter and personality. TLDR: if you are looking for your dog to get the most adventure out of their day while you are away at work, SolDog is it! Consistent, trustworthy hiking for your dog! Brings peace of mind knowing you're dog will be so happy to see you when you get home but will not demand for you to exert the days energy. Let me start by saying that my beloved Leyla girl is a 6yo pittie mix, with endless amounts of energy and love for being outside! I've had Leyla since she was a puppy (Covid days) and I now have a schedule that requires me to work outside of my home. Although, I've always done my best to provide her with adequate walks and weekend adventures, I always feel like it's not enough. Leyla is very strong willed and is not for the weak! She thrives on engagement, consistency and firmness from me and others who have cared for her. Not everyone is able to manage her, and this has always led me to have trust issues with hiring walkers on Rover or Wag. I find that most walking services have not been able to fulfill what I am looking for and what Leyla is needing. I came across a flyer for SolDog adventures and given my increase in work/school demand I figured I'd reach out and try out the day hiking package. It has been amazing!! Crystal is so awesome, curious and fun! From the start she could see Leyla's high energy and observed her on the trial day. Crystal came back with notes and gave me an idea of what a day adventure would look like, ensuring that the pack remains small and that all dogs are a good match. Her consistency and patience with Leyla really shows as Leyla is much more tolerable of other dogs and her interactions with them are much calmer. I can tell the difference when Ley goes 2-3 times vs when we skip a week. So I'm here writing this review to say thank you SolDog! For allowing Ley to live out her best life while I get to meet all my current school/work responsibilities. It really really brings me so much ease to my day, knowing I can trust someone to care for Leyla and handle all the sassy pittie that she is. We are grateful to know you! So here's to all those dog owners who are busy juggling the many balls of life and might be like me thinking how am I gonna tire my dog out after work? SolDog adventure passes for the win!

She also specializes in batshit crazy horses but also always has a gentle giant or two for beginners. I believe anyone at any level could learn a LOT from this lady. Also, the barn is freaking beautiful and the vibe is perfect.
