    Afternoon tea

Pleasant place to take a break from walking and enjoy a pastry and drink. Cozy, relaxing vibe.

Incredible selection of Danish pastries in this cute, cozy and historic cafe. Almost every table was full when we decided to pop in and take a peek. I ended up getting cinnamon roll to go and my boyfriend got a smoothie. Both were delicious and flavorful.

One of the oldest cafes in Copenhagen, and has a visitors list that is a whos-who of the world. Try their sandwiches, you won't be disappointed. Great place to sit and eat has a old world charm which will keep you sitting around. Very close to Nyhavn and the Rosenborg castle so good place to grab a snack.

Really cute place, filled with antique danish decoration. Wacky yet quiet, looks like a traditional place to hang out with really good home made pastries. Scones seem to be the weapon of choice, with really good coffee.

Amazing! Adorable cafe with delightful baked goods. The service was very nice and happily changed a wrong order.

Adorable cafe! Great little spot for a sip of tea and delightful baked good. Lovely window seatings to view the busy streets of Copenhagen. The service was very quick and nice, they even corrected a wrong order with no hassle. Prices are great and the decor is simply adorable!!!

    Pesto chicken and carrot cake.

I had the pesto chicken and a piece of their carrot cake. I was actually happy with both choices. The place is not cheap, but not too overpriced. The sandwich was huge, and the cake was tasty, my total was was 80 DKK, not a bad deal for Copenhagen. Very cosy place with nice decor. I also wanted to use the Wi-Fi.

We walked ny this place heading to the palace. The rrstaurant is very much decorated with Danish touristy decor, ehich we found interesting. We ended up sitting outside as it was hot. The staff was friendly and had helped explain what the menu was in english. We had a egg and pesto burger and hc anderson smoothie (which was a mixture of berries) and a berry scone. The burger and smoothie were delicious! The scone is one of the best ive had! The staff was very thoughtful as to cut the burger in half for us as we were sharing. Had a great time at this cafe.

Very yummy lox sandwich----quite large. Recommend taking it to go for a nice picnic along the water. Price wasn't bad.

The sandwich was horrible. I don't know why this place is famous. Just cute interior. Bad sandwich.

Very authentic and I just love the atmosphere. Try the "kiksekage" for a real danish specialty and a real treat.

I feel it's important to share my disappointing experience in Torvehallerne at Omegn & Venner…read moreDuring our meal, our belongings were stolen, which severely affected our overall experience. Alarmingly, the staff seemed familiar with the thief/theft, even conversing with him in Roma, and appeared more upset with us for expressing our distress than with the situation itself. To make matters worse, the chef was confrontational and lacked empathy. If my customers were robbed in my establishment, I would be deeply embarrassed and would prioritize assisting them instead of responding aggressively. I was unable to pay for our meal because my device was taken, yet the restaurant insisted on charging us the full price, which we observed another patron pay. They did not contact the police or report the theft. Instead of providing assistance, we were asked to leave while the thief was allowed to walk away, despite three witnesses confirming he was the one responsible. Afterward, we approached the police, who informed us that such treatment of customers is unacceptable and raises serious safety concerns. I strongly advise potential diners to reconsider their choice of restaurant. While the food may be enjoyable, the treatment of customers left much to be desired.

I sampled a few flavors, and ended up getting a scoop of the burnt caramel flavor. I definitely saw why this place is popular. The ice cream was super smooth, and the subtle hints of salt complemented the sweet caramel well. Definitely give this place a try if you're looking for a sweet treat!

I went with a scoop of apple sorbet in a waffle cone. I've heard of all types of sorbet but I had never heard of apple sorbet. BEST DECISION EVER. I wish I had gotten 3 more scoops of it. I'm writing this review a month after our trip and I'm still looking for a store in California that sells apple sorbet because I miss it so much. The next day, we had a long day out in the city and we were freezing at night. But I loved that apple sorbet so much that I made us go all the way back for another scoop. Sadly, apple sorbet wasn't even offered. I guess that's good cuz it means they update the flavors to keep things exciting. Instead, we got lemon sorbet. It was still really great and high quality. TLDR; try the apple sorbet. you can't go wrong with any of their flavors. But seriously at least taste it before making your choice
