Pat was our car salesman and he was a joke. sold us a…read morewrecked car, never once did he mention it was wrecked before...couldn't tell by looking at it, but I've had 2 different mechanics look at it and they have both said the same thing. I've had expensive problems with it since the day after I got it...he keeps telling me he will have it fixed for me, and has never attempted. has every excuse when it comes to helping me... today I called and asked if I brought it up there, if he would fix it and he literally yelled at me over the phone...all of this and I've only had the car for a week. he yelled at me and said that I know nothing about the car, and he does...(even though 2 mechanics already diagnosed it, and he is NOT a mechanic) now I'm stuck making payments on a car that I'll have to have in the shop in the first month of having... I hope nobody else has to go through this...he was so nice to me the day we got it and has literally went back on everything he told us...please take your hard earned money to someone else...

I asked about a 2003 Lincoln Town car he had advertised on the St Louis Craigslist. I asked him about the paint and body condition and he said there was a small dent in rear side of car I said I understand and then I asked about the interior and if there was any sign it had been smoked in?? He said no its immaculate! I asked many questions...as I am a car guy and I'm very sharp with cars. I was looking at purchasing the car for a friend of my wife's since she doesn't know much about cars. We drove 1 and half hours to get there from St Louis County. We walked in the office and Jerry said the car is unlocked please go check it out. I am a very reasonable person and God is my witness!!! The car had damage all over it I mean the back bumper was cracked in 3 places and was ready to fall off!! The paint was scratched up and looked like it was worn out and some spots of rust! I would estimate the body work and paint would cost at least $3000 to be repaired! Now for the bad part... The entire interior had cigarette burn holes all over the seats, headliner and carpet!! The interior was cracked badly and had the smell of cigarettes and air freshener. To say Jerry is a complete Liar and time waster is being nice!! Do yourself a big favor and dont waste your time going to Hucks Auto Sales because you will be wasting your time as I did because Jerry cant tell the truth! He was the typical used car dealer you see in the movies. Not Joking!!

This place is great! Our salesman was Josh and he was very thorough throughout the entire experience. The finance department was honest and straight-forward. It took about 6 weeks to have a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Hard Rock ordered and Josh kept us updated the entire time. They were all very professional and kind. So happy that we went there!

On February 14, 2025, I brought my vehicle to John Morlan after an alert appeared on the UConnect…read moresystem. George Sanders reviewed the concern and had a technician diagnose the issue. They claimed it was a "code mismatch" because the VIN on the EPS didn't match, quoted $1,411 for repairs, and insisted the problem was due to a prior wreck--saying outright, "there's nothing we can do to help you." When I questioned the diagnosis, Sanders became argumentative and tried to back it up with photos. I asked him to call my third-party insurance company to help verify coverage. During that call, he told them the vehicle had been wrecked, which led both the insurance company and John Morlan to deny any responsibility or support. Still not convinced, I took the vehicle to Autry Morlan in Sikeston on May 1. They quickly and correctly diagnosed the actual issue: a faulty antenna. It was a simple problem fully covered under warranty. The alert is now gone, and the issue is resolved--no thanks to John Morlan's team and certainly not worth the $1,411 misquote. This experience was frustrating and disappointing. I was misdiagnosed, dismissed, and made to feel like the burden was mine. I will not return to John Morlan and strongly caution others--if you value accuracy, professionalism, and integrity, look elsewhere.

Ethan Clubbs assured me if I wanted 0% financing, the powerhouse price the other dealership was offering wouldn't qualify for it. He said all dealerships had the same deals. I spoke to the other dealership today. It does qualify! I l could have had the colors I wanted for $3000 less! Plus more features! I also didn't get the lifetime warranty because I put my truck in an LLC. Joe, in finance, assured me their price was the best they could do. The truck already had 2835 miles on it and I received zero discount for that. I will not shop at Coad Chevrolet when I replace my Traverse High Country in a couple years. This is not the first vehicle I have bought from them but it will be the last. 2nd issue!!! They mailed my title to the wrong address. An address that doesn't exist. A complete neglect by whoever works there that is responsible. I spoke to Joe and he said it's out of their hands now. It was the last day to get my plates. I was told they would hold my title until I picked it up. Somehow, someone decided to mail it via UPS to an address that doesn't exist and Coad took zero responsibility for it! They didn't bother helping me track it down. I did that! I made the calls and used my time to find the title. It was sitting in a lost mail bin at UPS! Issue #3!! My 2025 Silverado has infotainment issues. The radio, Sirius XM and phone calls lose sound/connection a lot. I made an appt to get it looked at. The woman on the phone seemed like she was listening to a word I said as I described the problem. I would finish talking and she said, "So what do you need? An oil change?" Then I asked for a loner to go to work. They do not offer loaners any more and they wouldn't take me home or to work because both places are in Scott City! Their service stops at the end of the sale!

The dealership had my vehicle a total of 6 months within the first year of purchasing it. This last time we picked it up and headed to Nashville the very next day. On our way to Nashville, my car turned off in the middle of rush hour traffic on I-24. It completely lost all power and everything powered off. We got the Managers involved and still they found nothing wrong with it. The managers that we dealt with were very rude, one even proceeded to get in my husbands face and tell him that this was the first time he was hearing about any issues that we were having....my goodness it was a crazy experience. We finally traded the vehicle in this last week and I could not be more happy about it. We definitely did not go back to John Sinclair and never will. I sincerely hope if you are in the market for a New or Used vehicle, that you will go somewhere else. Go somewhere where they actually value your business and genuinely want to take care of you.

Doesn't matter if the customer is female or male, you don't treat them as if they are ignorant and pull a Macho Man Neanderthal bit on them. Dealerships were very reluctant to give me pricing info, too, assuming I just wanted to play one dealership off the others. All I wanted was the right number on the right car, then I'd be there. Coye called me Friday night and listened to what I was looking for -- a Sedona with leather interior, which is standard on the EX. But I was also price sensitive. So she proposed an excellent price on a Sedona LX that happened to have the leather interior upgrade, finding a way to get me to the magic number. Coye's communication was prompt, and she delivered on the pricing once I arrived the next day. Her estimate on the trade in value of my old car was accurate too. No tricks! Very much appreciated. Plus, the financing wasn't a long, drawn out, high pressure process. I said "no thanks" once, and it was done!
