When the car was new it was not on my radar so I never had a chance to own one and I only later came to appreciate them after they were not made anymore. Andy was a great guy to work with and I left with the car even though I already had my car down there, getting two cars back to Milwaukee would be a challenge to sat the least. Andy was no pressure and said take the car for a while, see if you like it and he didn't even want any license or collateral to leave for a 1/2 hour of Hwy and city driving to put the car through its paces. We don't do that in Milwaukee Wi, his trust of us with out knowing who we were are was refreshing for a dealer. I walked in and drove out with the car on impulse, now the challenge of getting this car home would be tough because there is no direct public transportation and it stops three hours away from the car so I was on my own.

It shouldn't take more than 15 minutes to mount and balance a tore on a bare steel rim. when I asked if the price was correct, the lady behind the counter said that it was and then tried to justify it by saying they had the cost of the weights and time to do the job. She went on to say that the tires were hard to balance and took a lot of weight. There was maybe 2.5 ounces total on all of the wheels. And on top of that, they didn't even balance the wheels correctly. They staggered the weights, which is something you never do. Anyone that has been trained properly knows this. This isn't the first time we have had an issue with them. i took my moms car there because it had a rough idle and the check engine light was on. The mechanic said she needed a new timing belt and quoted a crazy price. I bought a scan tool and it was only the timing belt sensor that was faulty, which costs $12 and took me 15 minutes to replace it. I knew when the mechanic claimed there was a vacuum leak because the vent tube going to the air cleaner was off, that I needed to do the work myself or find someone that knew what they were doing. Stay away from this shop, they are crooks and simple parts changers, they do not diagnose the problem(s), they just change parts until they get lucky. They get most of their business because of the "good ole boys" network that is in southeast MO.

Unbelievable service, Simply The BEST!!…read more Last Saturday while driving from Ohio to Arkansas for a week long vacation/family reunion our car broke down about 25 miles from Dexter Missouri, two separate people stopped and offered to help and lend assistance, one even drove to a store 20+ miles away and returned with a wrench and water for my wife and grandson. The problem with the car was electronic components that were only repairable from a good mechanic. The other gentleman left and came back about 30 minutes later and told us he was able to reach the owner of Bud Shell Ford in Dexter and that a tow truck was on it's way. He also offered to take my wife and grandson to the dealership while I waited for the tow truck. A few moments later, Jason Caldwell (Service Manager at the dealership) showed up, loaded up my car and drove us to Bud Shell Ford. Jason also made several calls to local car rental companies that were all closed for the day, he then called one of the owners, then informed me that we could rent me one of their cars so we could continue on to Arkansas for our family reunion. WOW, how many companies would do that. I told everybody in church this morning that of the whole week in Arkansas my favorite memory of our trip was the friends we met along our journey, people going out of their way to help complete strangers in our time of need. When I raised concerns, responsibility was denied, I was told no parts had been removed despite the repair invoice documenting extensive front-end disassembly, and I was refused access to speak with the technician. The vehicle was ultimately deemed unsafe to drive. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop.b UPDATE On the day the incident occurred, Graham Auto Service requested that the vehicle be taken to Purcell's, a third party, which directly contradicts the claim that third-party involvement invalidated responsibility. Graham Auto Service was aware the vehicle was temporarily at Bebo's only to secure the bumper so it could be transported safely. No repairs, removals, or alterations were performed by any third party. The vehicle was towed, not driven for repair. The vehicle was picked up on December 30, 2025, driven less than one mile, then parked and not driven for several weeks. The first highway drive immediately resulted in abnormal noise and front-end separation. Loose underbody components were found inside the back seat at pickup. These components were not present prior to drop-off and are inconsistent with an oil change. The repair invoice documents extensive front-end disassembly, making the claim that "nothing was removed" factually inaccurate. Initial acknowledgment included an offer to pay for correction at another shop. Later denials directly contradict those statements, the invoice, photographs, and documented communications. All evidence has been preserved and submitted to consumer protection agencies. Update The business continues to attribute this to an "oil change" and claims no parts were removed. However, when formally asked to explain how extensive front-end work (including headlight assemblies and control modules) was performed without removing underbody, bumper, or inner fender components, no explanation was provided and communication stopped. Additionally, when the vehicle owner requested to speak directly with the technician who performed the work, that request was refused. The vehicle had not been driven for weeks after pickup, and the first highway drive resulted in immediate front-end separation. Loose underbody components were later found inside the vehicle. All documentation, invoices, photographs, and communications have been preserved.

The deputy called D&K Towing, and Adam arrived within 15 minutes! He quickly loaded our van and even followed us to make sure we got safely checked into a hotel. He gave us his cell phone number in case we needed anything. Later, when our insurance agent told us to retrieve all our belongings and remove the license plate, Adam made it incredibly easy. He helped to get our things and even removed the license plate for us when we couldn't. To top it off, he met us again on our way home--late on a Saturday night--to return the plate back to us. Adam went truly above and beyond to help us during a stressful time. We're so thankful for his kindness and professionalism!
