This shop is Superior for sure.the water pump in our 2006 Chevy Malibu went out and I drove it to them and the Father and son immediately went outside and checked it out fluids was pouring out of the bottom of the motor.they got it in the next morning and replaced the pump and flushed the transmission as my request.so now the car is better than ever and the price of repairs was very reasonable. Very professional nice folk's. The Father has been in business at this location in Dexter Mo for 29 year's and year's before this at other locations before opening his business. read more

My wife took her truck here because she was leaking transmission fluid. They found the leak at the transfer case. They replaced the gasket yet we were still loosing fluid. Took it back and it sat on the lot for 2 days. My wife finally went and took it to a transmission shop. The transmission shop found it was the seals in the transfer case that were visibly bad. Superior never even checked or bothered to mention it. read more

seen this review from dave m. i have used superior automotive for 19 years . good people very fair with me and my family and friends. my church has used them for 14 years. i have no problem sending them customers . they probably put ac dye and freon in your ac system so they could find your leak. so you will have to bring your car back so they can find the leak after they put dye in your ac system. that is what i had to do for my truck . it was the condenser core leaking. my ac has been working for 6 years no problems. read more

I had this place work on a Chevy Cavalier I had when I lived in Dexter. This was a while back before I moved to Springfield but thought I would post so other people who live in Dexter will know to AVOID THIS PLACE .Had the air conditioning go out and took it to Superior. My father in law recommended them. How I wish I hadn't listen to him. First they put freon in it and the air in my car was working for only TWO DAYS. And the air went out again. Took it back to Superior and you can bet I was mad. I had the shop owner come out and see for his self that my air WAS NOT WORKING. He apologized and then after checking(which his dumb ass should of done the first time) discovered I had a leak in one of the cars air conditioning hoses and the freon leaked out. He said he need to get a new hose for my car and that he would have to order the part. I asked how long that would take and he said a few days. I asked him are you going to knock off some of the labor cost this time seeing as I'm having you work on it again? He noticing how pissed off I was at him reluctantly agreed. Well I wait the three days he said it would take for the part to come in and I never heard back from them. Even after calling the shop and speaking to the person who schedules the appointments and orders the parts. And being told he will call you when the parts come in the owner nor the person who does the appointments scheduling or parts ordering ever got back with me. And I'm driving a car with no air and they still got my money. Finally my father in law seeing how tick off I was with SUPERIOR . Offered to take my car to Autry Morlan. They fixed it right the first time. Superior is one place you shouldn't take your car to to have it repaired. read more
