This makes it impossible to accurately evaluate a car. You're trying to purchase from this dealer. I find that completely unreasonable. I'm going to give them an opportunity to reverse this policy because I plan on buying several classic cars over the next few years but at this moment, I do not recommend dealing with these people.

What once was the bustling Morgantown mall now is the home to what I can only call one of the…read morelargest permanent indoor car shows in PA. What Classic Auto Mall is, is a consignment store for cars. Vintage, Classic, Modern, even project cars. I came as a visitor, so I have no input or advice on how they operate as far as sales goes. What I do know is if you're in the market for or looking to sell Classic Auto Mall may be the perfect place to look into. Visitors are allowed to look through rooms what used to be stores in the mall - each containing just about any kind of car you can think of. All shined up nice and on display. Think of a car show, but indoors, with bathrooms and no crowds and annoying announcers on the bull horn trying to be witty and funny. A car show without the pretentious owners in their lawn chairs watching your every move - then bragging about why their car is best. No sun beating down on you. Comfortably climate controlled in either winter or summer. Then the bonus - if you're in the market - you can actually purchase that dream car of yours right on the spot. A must see for any car enthusiast.

CAUTION - Dishonest Service Manager Stranded on the PA Turn Pike on the Friday afternoon of Labor Day Weekend, the tow took us to this establishment. Reluctantly, I struck a 2x labor rate ($180) deal to replace a fuel pump in a 2001 Chevy Astro the next morning. The job was bid for 3 hours. I arrived at 9:20 am and checked in with Brandon the weekend Service Manager who presented me with the $540 labor and $405 Fuel Pump charge. I approved and he then said the job would be done by noon. I looked at the van up on the lift at 9:25 am and saw the tank fully intact and installed, still on the van. I took off to a nearby Walmart and returned at 11:00 am and looked at the van before heading into see Brandon. No Change. Exactly as I had seen it before I left. When I asked for a progress update, he said that they were almost done and would have it finished by 11:30 am. I said that it didn't look like the tank was dropped or worked on, where he replied that they were finishing up and would be ready at 11:30 am. So I walked out and parked myself where I could watch any activity of their "finishing up." At 11:20, a mechanic dropped the van, started it and drove it out of the garage. When I spoke to the GM (Bob) about not seeing any work performed and was suspicious to why I was charged for 3.0 hours, he acted as if he didn't know what to do about the complaint. So we agreed to have Brandon come in and address this simple question; " When was the work performed and ho long did it take. Brandon said that his mechanic started at 8:00 am and was finished at 10:30 am - 10:45 am. Bottom line is they did start at 8:00 am, but by the time we arrived at 9:20 am, the work was completed and they strung me along to 11:20 am, charge my 3.0 hrs for 1.5 hrs work at 2x standard rate. Creeps and crooks. Greedy and seedy.

If the salesmen can't answer a simple question for me, how would they ever know anything about the vehicle they are trying to sell you. Just go to other dealers in the area who have more intelligent sales people. Turnpike Chevy is not where you want to buy your next car or truck from.

"Mr. Phillips and Mr. Casper, I am writing you with my concerns over at Turnpike Chevy. It's to my understanding your company owns them from my further research. My truck was in the shop prior to Christmas Eve of 2019 (2015 Chevy Silverado), which is when my warranty for my transmission expired with Chevy. My issue with my transmission was just the beginning when my truck was serviced at Turnpike about a year or so ago for a control module which was covered under warranty at that time, no cost to me. Since that time, my truck experienced issues with shifting....with that being said, the service department ensured me it was the control module and it needed to reprogram how I drive....and not to worry about anything (never asked to want to see it). After time has passed by, my issues with my trucks transmission continued. It was until my inspection in January I expressed my concern again(history in their notes of my past issues) with my shifting and issues with my truck not functioning properly. They found meal shavings in my transmission fluid. The service department informed me it would be over $5000 to replace transmission. I was not happy with that answer, so Brandon in service called Chevy rep and got me a rebuild kit for $1,467.00. Turnpike asked me while my truck was in shop how serious I was in keeping my truck, that I could look at something else on their lot (laughed as if was a joke with me on the phone). Chevy Corp was contact by myself and I setup a support ticket to escalate my issue. Chevy Corp came back to me and explained that a normal rebuild kit would cost me well over $2600 and it was up to dealership to work out such deal with me. I sucked it up and decided to have work done for $1,467.00. Scotty in service mentioned when I dropped it off for service on 3/3, that they are not sure if they could still honor that same price quoted to me. I explained I was working with Chevy and that was the deal. I told Scotty to contact me if anything in price was going to change, so I had my fingers crossed. I was contact by Scotty and was informed the price went up to $2,315.50. They found other issues with my transmission, after my original quoted price. My thoughts were going a mile a minute since it went up over $800.00. I told Scotty Chevy Corp was working with me and that was not the deal. Scotty mentioned he didn't care what they had told me and it was a formula they put into their system and doesn't mean anything at all. Of course, I had to give them approval to fix it at higher cost to me. They didn't even have the parts in stock repairs after they knew my truck was coming in to have this specific work done. There was a delay in parts being ordered. My concern started when I dropped it off and I over heard something Brandon said to women working at front desk. He was bragging about sending something down to Miami and someone is getting a big invoice and they needed to pay it. It makes me really wonder what kind of dealership they are running. For me it seems like bad customer service in my eyes. I have been a business professional for 25 years and very disappointed on how all of this was handled. Chevy wants to work out extended parts and warranty with me on my current repairs being done, but in all honest I want to be finished with this dealership and cut my losses with my truck. They said it was probably from towing since I tow and go camping with it. I only really bought this truck because it can tow and do what I paid for (well within my range for towing)....it's not holding up to what was sold to me by Elmor and still not living up to my expectations with Turnpike Chevy. I still owe around $8000 which I know isn't your issue. Maybe this is a greater discussion at next staff/management meeting. My wife told me I need to stop asking for everything for free or for nothing, but I feel this is my concern and needs to be addressed and lift this weight off my chest. After giving them the OK to pay the extra $848 hours later...today my truck is finished...seems rather odd to me. Thank you for your time"
