But what DOESN'T change is how Woodall's, in our opinion, takes care of our home. Our AC has had issues, and they had one fella at one time mess something up (only the one time) and they immediately had someone else come out and fix his mistake. I have used Woodall's since we purchased our home 9 yrs ago, we utilize the "ESA" program which gives us 2 checkups per yr, priority service and a discount if we have a situation come up - at the time of writing this it's less than $200 for the year for our home. BUT, typically between every 6 months checkups they do such a good job we rarely have an issue. The issues in the beginning were due to the homeowners prior to us NOT paying for a routine service on our unit. It's 10 yrs old and still plugging. We just recently had Woodall's install an attic fan at a very reasonable price, and OH BOY did the house cool down!! Al gave us tips on insulation in an older home, suggestions on how the vents in the individual rooms should be arranged for maximum air balance. When Mike, our regular ESA tech told me about the "Halo" air purifier, we asked Ryan about it and did our research and decided to have them install that as well. When the guys come out they're always nicely dressed, clean cut, polite, never a foul word and leave everything as if they'd never been there, except for the exceptional tuning up of our system. I try to allow them to come early when it's hot outside, and I try to have cold bottles of water for them too. I'm very grateful to have them taking care of my home.

We had Stinnett come out to look into an issue with a potential leak at the interior unit. They…read morewere supposed to call me to let me know what was going on since we are the party responsible for fixing the unit and we are not local, but nobody ever called. I had to follow up several times with emails and phone calls over several days to find out what happened, only to find out they did some work without authorization, and never contacted me. They said they cleaned the coils and it fixed the leak. With the issue continuing, and with how things were handled the first time with Stinnett, I did not feel comfortable having them return and sent out a second company. The second company visited the property and found the evaporator coil stopped up. They said it was brushed by another company but the coil is impacted internally, requiring it to be pulled and cleaned outside with coil cleaner. The leak caused discoloration on the front panel which needs to be addressed, and they found an extremely dirty air filter. Neither of the issues were noted by Stinnett. How can one company provide such little information when doing the same assessment as another company, is what I'm struggling to understand. We have now paid for the service call and cleaning of the unit to Stinnett, and the service call to another company to find out what is actually going on. I'm extremely disappointed in the service Stinnett provided.

It died after about…read more5 years, but the unit is still under warranty, so I was calling around to find a reliable company to do the warranty replacement. Calling Southeastern Cooling ended up being a very smart choice. From the moment I began speaking with Adam on the phone, I was impressed by the level of courtesy and professionalism I experienced. I explained the problem and what sort of service we required. He managed to source the replacement ECM and schedule a tech to come out in just a matter of hours--same day. Gage, our technician, was prompt, courteous, professional, and quite humble--that's an often overlooked trait these days. He was able to get the ECM swapped out fairly easily and got our system back up and running. As someone with nearly 3 decades working with tech, I was, of course, carefully paying attention to his work--he managed to impress me a number of times with how carefully and thoroughly he handled the replacement process, even ensuring that the wiring was just as neat and tidy as how it was when he started working on the unit. Overall, this initial experience with Southeastern Cooling was remarkable and we will likely call them again when the need arises. Though, when we do call, we'll be requesting Gage.
