He was able to squeeze us in on the same day. After checking our heatpump/AC system (which was nearly 30 years old) he told us that it was about to fail and needed to be replaced. He did add some freon to nurse it along for a couple days since we had a renter at the house. Amazingly (given Covid shortages) he was able to locate a unit for us and have it shipped from NJ. He rearranged his schedule and got it installed for us within 2 days of it's delivery. Len Davis is a miracle worker and I can't recommend him highly enough!

The part needed to be ordered, so he Jerry-rigged the system to cool while we waited the week for the part. Mr. Davis never came back. He had the fan set up to run nonstop, even when we turned the breaker off. Our electric bill almost doubled every month. I called every day for weeks, they didn't/wouldn't answer the phone. I left detailed messages telling them who I was but never got a call back. When I call other companies and explain that Davis HVAC came out and rigged the system they don't want to come out and help us. I wish I had never called Davis HVAC to begin with. A very disappointing experience, and I absolutely would not recommend Davis HVAC Services, Greenbackville, VA.

This job was quite a challenge as it is a very old beach cottage. They gave honest advice and proposed a Fujitsu system with 5 units inside the house. They had challenges in getting this system installed, including going under a wet house to run the coolant lines to the opposite side of the house from the main outside unit. They did this job with great care (because of the old exterior), knowledge of the system, and professionalism of the installation. It is beautiful and has provided an extension of our season from early in the spring through to late fall. We are extremely happy. We thank them for their dedicated professionalism.
