She recommended and assisted in the referral to Dr. Arthur Giebel who was also amazing. Yesterday was mom's second and final post-surgery follow-up with Dr. Ferguson and she confirmed that everything is right on tract. Mom has much better vision and no longer needs glasses. But just as important, she is very comfortable and confident in Dr. Ferguson's care. And as the son who lives 4 hours away, I couldn't be happier.

Was it fun to try to humiliate me in person with a haughty attitude when I asked why I couldn't just pay cash for my appointment? I was also refused the possibility of rescheduling my appointment, because "their system was down." What an incredibly condescending and horrible experience. I was just trying to get my eyes examined so I could have surgery. I was the victim of extreme domestic violence- I have a complicated case and partial blindness. It's hard to get up the courage to go to an eye doctor to have my trauma addressed. Prepare to be humiliated and treated poorly by office staff if you have had any domestic violence related injury. I walked out of that office bawling, in tears, after finding out that my appointment had been cancelled. What a horrific experience.

Then the receptionist tells me which doctor I wanted and mentioned Dr. Wagner as a first option so I opt that my two kids and I be seen by Dr. Wagner. Then here's the catch: the receptionist asks you a bunch of MEDICAL questions and current meds you're on and Dr. Wagner will then "DECIDE" if he will see us?! WHAT IN THE HEALTH CARE WORLD?! I was shocked by her statement and received a call two days later saying that Dr. Wagner decline to "care" or see my kids and I. BRAVO, DR. WAGNER! I bet denying and getting to pick and chose who you want to see makes you feel better about yourself as a practicing doctor who took the Hippocratic oath LIKE ALL DOCTORS DO and now that you're a "big time Dr" in a small town that oath DOES NOT apply to you. This clinic and how they run is truly unbelievable! They called me a few days later REPEATEDLY to let me know another available doctor in their clinic is willing to see me and my children. YEAH.....NO! You may think you are the "it" clinic in WW, but I managed to get myself and my children a good family doctor in WW and could care less about you offering up your next doctor. Walla Walla clinic I truly appreciate the laughs. Now from what I'm reading, Dr. Wagner isn't that great of a doctor anyway so, thank you for denying myself and my two children care! The grass IS IN FACT greener on the other side, folks! Patient care, knowledge and great energy are what stands out the most but being made to feel comfortable and safe, in an otherwise challenging treatment, goes a long way. I have an aversion to dentists from poor treatment as a child but I never worry when I go to Dr. Rietz' office. They are patient first and it shows. They communicate throughout treatment so there is no mystery what's going on. Some of my dental care has been a challenge but they always have an answer. I'm a patient for life.

It took 11 sessions and a lot of work on my part, following instructions provided with the therapy (posture of course, diligence with icing, and doing my 1 minute of exercises several times a day). I am so thankful! No doctor or procedure can just zap you fixed, especially from chronic pain caused by a lifetime of bad posture, repetitive motion, etc., but I know my old fears and doubts of chiropractors is a thing of the past. I still would not get aggressive chiro adjustments, but the gentle activator style methods used worked for me.
