Dr M and his team are friendly, efficient, understanding and their dental work is amazing. I decided to make an appointment with dr. Morelli after reading all these great reviews. Although I cannot comment on dr. Morelli' skills because I never officially became his patient; I can say that the receptionist lady in his office (Kristen) is extremely rude. And because of kristen's attitude and lack of professionalism, I've decided not to consider dr. Morelli for my dental care. Here's the story: I called to make an appointment for a filling. Kristen explained to me that they would also need me to come in for an examination and sign paper work to transfer my records to their office. All the paper work was competed and appointment was booked. About 2 weeks before the appointment it dawned on me that Kristen never mentioned anything about the fillings, which was the primary reason I made an appointment. I called back to leave a message to confirm that the appointment would be for both the examination and the filling. Kirsten called back and said that the appointment was only for an examination, no filling. She said that if a filling was required, then I would make another appointment to come back for the filling. I didn't understand why in this day and age, an office would run so inefficiently! I explained to Kristen that I was just recently examined by another dentist that I needed 2 small fillings. Kristen said, "well, think of this as a second opinion." Again, I'm baffled as to why we're all wasting so much time. The only thing I could come up with is this is their way of making extra money from me/insurance company. I told Kristen that the I signed all the paperwork and her office should have my X-rays and records by now. By that point, Kristen didn't want to talk anymore. She said, "so, you want to cancel the appointment?? " I said "no I don't" and I kept trying to explain myself and figure out ways they could accommodate. Kirsten again did not want to talk to me any further and kept saying " so do you want to cancel the appointment????" Kristen literally was pushing me to cancel my appointment. It was clear she did not want me as a patient. I got so frustrated because all she was saying back was "ok, so do you want to cancel the appointment??" After hearing her repeat it 5x-- I quickly got off the phone with her. I never told her I wanted to cancel the appointment, if anything I asked to continue with the appointment. But shortly after getting off the phone with her, I was still in utter disbelief that a dentist office was so rude. This office doesn't care about patients. They probably think they have enough patients that they could afford to be unprofessional. I called back within 15 minutes and told Kristen to just cancel the appointment. Kristen responded by saying, "yeah I already did when you hung up last time!" Wow... she canceled an appointment before I even called her back?????? It just confirms my belief that this dental office doesn't care or need any new patients. Don't bother going here. They have rude people like Kristen!!! I've actually heard of many medical or dental professionals who think they are almighty, but this is the first time that a receptionist believes she's almighty!! Stay away!!! read more

We have been seeing Dr. Morelli for several years! I'm definitely not a person who likes going to the dentist, but all the staff does their best to make you feel relaxed, and explains all procedures before doing them. The large picture windows in the rooms are nice too while your having work done. Highly recommend this dental office! read more

When your tooth hurts or when you just need a cleaning, I am 100% positive that whatever the issue is it won't be overlooked. They take the time to ensure that you are comfortable and taken care of. Dr Morelli YELLED at my daughter for crying while getting her teeth cleaned, and completely belittled her. I suggest not calling yourself a family dentist if you have no tolerance for an upset child. I will also add that I have been going to this office for over 40 years...formerly owned by Dr Hall and Dr Morelli was basically hand picked to assume his practice. We had a couple of instances where he assumed what I call a "fatherly" tone with her but today he SCARED her. Despite them having all of my records for over 40 years, and them being the only dentist my daughter has seen, we will never go back. And I will discourage anyone else from visiting his practice as well. read more

Please change your parking sign out front to shopping to patient parking only or allow people to park after business hours. Pro tow is having a field day in your parking lot because of those signs. Me and 3 other cars were towed on a Friday night( you were closed) and got to pay a lovely fee because it says "shopping" not patient parking. With all the new places down town you should really allow parking after hours in your lot along with many other businesses. read more

Going to the dentist is never on my bucket list. Today I had an appointment at 8a.m.for a routine examination and teeth cleaning. The whole staff was so friendly and attentive. This experience was a 10 plus. My thanks to the entire staff Dr. Moreli and Doreen and Christin. Gretchen who cleaned my teeth was very informative and obviously excellent at her profession. At 45, I have seen a few dentists and some have been great and some were probably very good at their profession, but had 0 bedside manner, some made me comfortable but left tooth fragments in my jaw, and some just yanked and sent me on my way. I checked out Dr. Morelli based on a recommendation by a coworker and I had average expectations given that I was going to him to have tooth pain addressed. Here's where things were different. Many times in the past, I have sought help from a professional simply for them to go by a script, brush off all that I was aware of about my own body and begin to talk to me like I'm 5 and that I need to "do better" to take care of myself. And in this case, my teeth. This was not one of those times. We talked about my prior treatments, my current state and options and I didn't get a sales pitch, I got his best advice. In fact, Dr. Morelli was acutely aware after me describing my experiences that he could cut to the chase. He did so with a flash of a friendly smile, the confidence of experience and a serious bottom line approach. Yep, what's it going to cost me. As a side note here, his "what I would do" would be to go see an oral surgeon and go for the sure win. He might get a referral kick back but it was clear that my dental health was really the focus. In order to make a good purchasing decision, I need to know what I am paying for and I think that some (less up front) medical providers obscure that for reasons only they are privy to. Dr. Morelli gave the the Good/Better/Best options and laid it out plainly in cash terms. His friendly approach and hearing what I knew about my teeth already had me signed on, but that sealed the deal. No matter whether I do the deep dive and go for 2 implants near term, opt for two extractions short term, or settle somewhere in between, I gotta thank my coworker for putting me in touch with Dr. Morelli and his staff. I mentioned him several times here but no dentist "makes it" without a competent staff. Seems silly to say but I'm actually looking forward to coming back and bringing my wife! Dr. Morelli is by far the best dentist I have ever been to. I took my daughter in for a normal cleaning and three cavities were found. He asked when I could come back and I explained to him it would have to be this week since my insurance was going to be cancelled on Friday. He looked at me and without hesitation said he will do it Thursday at 4:00. I have never experienced such a heartfelt gesture from any business before. Once my insurance is back I will defiantly be going back. He doesn't run a business he runs an extended home were you get your teeth cleaned and fixed. read more

Very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I've been see Dr Morelli for several years. He has been incredibly responsive. One time I had some dental work done just before leaving the country on a week long international business trip and just before getting on the plane at PDX I noticed a chip of something in my mouth. With literally minutes before boarding, Dr Morelli had me iMessage a picture which he quickly determined was nothing more than some casting silicon and not a problem. I've moved to Beaverton looking for a Dentist and found dr Morellis office and I'm so glad that I did because it's been a long while since I've seen a dentist I've been so scared and waited so long to see one so I needed a lot of work done on my teeth but Mr MORELLI made me feel so at home and took care of my needs,he's staff are very friendly I know them all by name Brittnie the front desk manager was awesome as well she made me feel so at home and I can say the same about Kristen and I knew right there this is the Dentist for me so I can say the same about my husband who's also haven't seen a dentist and was scared to see one,we are both at ease we are very thankful for Dr MORELLI and he's crew for everything,I have a few more visit to complete my Smile:) I love going to my appointments.... read more

Most importantly, he lets you determine your schedule for getting your dental work done - no lectures. I've never had to wait as Kristin, who schedules appointments (as well as doing a myriad other work), is careful about knowing how annoying it is to sit in the waiting room forever.
