Today he built a rail system for the walkway leading up to my porch. I have this year developed serious problems with walking ability due to health issues, and Alan this morning built the railings I hired him to create because I need railings for safety. The railing system Alan built is beautiful and very sturdy with strong posts and white railings. Alan also installed second railings in the walls beside the in-door stairs leading up from the first to the second floors. The railings look very nice and are strong and sturdy. I sincerely appreciate the carpentry talents of Alan Johnson. He has done several carpentry jobs for Bill and me since 2021, and whether small jobs or larger jobs, his work never disappoints.

He showed up as I was running out the door to an appt. He said he could fix it while i was gone and he did just that! Sent me photos of the door. I asked him to meet me at my appt which was 15 mins away so I could pay him. He charged me a very reasonable price and when I got home I saw that he did and excellent job on the storm door. He added some extra screws. We get crazy wind and weather and now I don't have to worry about the door falling off and glass all over the place. He climbed ladders, got on the roof, crawled into crawl spaces, and took pictures every step of the way. I especially appreciate how he took the time to educate me along the way, giving patient and in-depth explanations of the issues we came across. It was very helpful to know which items were serious and which were just cosmetic. He sent his report to me the very next day. It was organized and full of highlighted pictures and descriptions of the issues. I shared Danny's report with the sellers and was able to get them to agree to some costly repairs. The smaller issues in his report that were not fixed by the sellers will serve as a great to-do list for me in my next couple of years of home ownership.
