From the time that we talked about what I was wanting for him,to the finished product, I can say that this is a quality company. Nancy was polite and knowledgeable as was the designer of the flower arrangement. I highly recommend using this florist. They are local to the Buffalo and surrounding areas and do a great job. Sincerely, Ann G.

They were all brown around all of the edges. You could see where someone tore off some of the petals to try to make it look better and on of the roses had a hole in the side of the petals and for added appeal it had a dent in it, too. Then, there were 3 lilies and one was fully open. One of the petals was torn and it looked like and it had all weird looking veins in the petals and was turning to a brown color along the edges. Some of the fillers were missing petals just a complete disaster of a bouquet! What kind of a business sends out an old dying bouquet to a customer? One who takes no pride that's for sure!!! Then we sent pictures and requested for them to take the flowers back and refund us our money. They came back with we will give you 20.00 back and never tried to make it right in anyway at all...uh NO!!! Wegman's has much better flowers and for 1/3 of the cost. I'd go there before ever using this florist again!!!

April Spencer Floral Design - Decor

Truly beautiful flowers and amazing service!…read more Ordering on-line was super easy and there are three tiers - good, better, best. The pandemic is been nuts and how often to we order flowers - so only the best would do for recipient! Flowers were ready for pick-up on time and they were gorgeous. It was raining out, so the the proprietor wrapped the amazing bouquet in plastic and tied it with a lovely ribbon. The whole arrangement was already wrapped in purple tissue which accents our purple arrangement for our loved one who loves purple. I don't know if I should assume the person we saw was April Spencer, or is April Spencer is a real person, but let's say she is and that was her. The door was locked only because this appears to be a one-person operation, but I could see the person through the glass door who hopped right up and apologized for leaving the door locked after returning from the restroom. The shopkeeper appeared to be just as excited about the flowers as I was and pointed out the "high-end" blooms as well as the seasonal flower which are extra special because they are only available for a short time each year. Suffice it to say I was thrilled and so was our recipient who couldn't stop sending pictures of how her flowers and she gushed about how beautiful they are and how much they brightened that home of someone who has now had two pandemic birthday. Would 100% recommend and would 100% use this florist again. Shop is right on Seneca Street in the Shea's Seneca building, right between Public Espresso and the event space. Parking out front was easy peasy at 1pm on a Friday.

This was one of the reasons we went with this company. However, 2 weeks before the event, when we went to drop off the final payment, they added an extra $100 charge, claiming that it would be extra if we wanted the decorations removed the same night as the event. This was in direct contrast to what we'd agreed upon earlier, but with only 2 weeks till the wedding, we were stuck and had to pay it. That was the most egregious of the 'hidden charges,' but there were so many more. When we asked about drying and preserving the bride's bouquet, she told us it would cost us $300-500 and we'd have to supply the box. When we questioned why it was so much she went on and on about how complicated the process is. We decided to avoid this cost and said no to the preservation, which she made us feel very guilty about. Later when we went to drop off the final payment, we noticed that there was a preserved bouquet in a box for another customer, along with a bill for $135. When we Questioned Dianne about why it was $135, and not the $300 to $500 she quoted us, she denied that she'd ever quoted that high a price (a lie) and said that $300 would have been the maximum, and that's if she'd supplied the box (another lie). While we were finalizing the plans, they had a shelf full of cake servers and knives, all 'marked down'. When she saw my husband looking at them she said they were trying to liquidate so they were on sale at a discount (still more expensive than comparable items on amazon btw). My husband said no thank you, that the venue assured us that they had servers/knives. She tried to hard sell us, even going so far as to say "I've worked with that venue before, they don't have servers/knives, no venue I've ever worked with ever has them, you NEED to buy them." My husband called the venue on the spot and they confirmed that they had multiple knives/servers to be used for a wedding. While the decoration half of the shop was very relaxed, Dianne continually was pushing us for a hard upsell on every single thing we could. Going so far as to try to guilt us when we didn't spend our life savings on flowers. We knew what we wanted, but if we didn't get extravagant corsages for our mothers, aunts, sisters, etc, we were just terrible people. Oh, she didn't say that, but it was certainly implied. While the flowers WERE beautiful and most of the decorations were wonderful even that wasn't as expected. We'd had in our contract that our wedding arch would have TWO cloth panels, one blue and one green which were our wedding colors, however, on the day of our wedding the arch was assembled with one single white gauze panel. In addition, we were told that the flowers decorating the arch would match the flowers used in the rest of the wedding, and instead, we were given generic white flowers. When all was said and done, the sticker shock was extreme. The quoted price after our first consultation was $850, we did not add anything somehow, because of various taxes, fees, and additions that they insisted were standard, at the end it was $1,200. I would actively recommend that anyone looking at this business for your wedding look elsewhere. This was without a doubt the worst part of our wedding, and that included having to replace the best man 3 days before hand.
