Family owned business. The owners are super nice and accommodating. I was supposed to receive flowers for my birthday yesterday from Michael's floral design but unfortunately I did not receive it due to employee error. When the owner found out that the delivery or phone call to me was never attempted, they contacted me (receiver) and the buyer immediately and resolved the issue promptly. They apologized and refunded the payment; then they still delivered the flower to my address with complimentary chocolate and an handwritten letter for an apology as a kind gesture. The flowers and the vase are fresh and of great quality. I can't wait for the flowers to bloom in the next couple of days. Unfortunate for what happened with the employee error but overall a good experience and would highly recommend! read more

I received flowers from this wonderful shop and they were gorgeous. It was the prettiest arrangement I've ever received. The flowers were so amazing! It came in a really cute vase with a candle! It was a great surprise to receive such a wonderful gift. The flowers lasted a while as well. I've met the owner of this store and she is so nice! The storefront is cute as well. Made an oder on the 22nd for a birthday bouquet delivery for today the 27th. When I placed the order online I never got any confirmation email but didn't think much of it. This morning I was concerned that they did not get the order so I called the store at 1pm to confirm my order was going to be delivered. I was told on the phone that they had my order and it went out for delivery an hour ago. In the special instructions I specifically wrote that it needed to be delivered by 10am, obviously it was not. I was told that the flowers would arrive shortly, but they never came. It's now 8pm, past their business hours and still no sign of the delivery. Absolutely horrible. I will be contacting my credit card company to issue a refund for this botched order. To your response, she never got a call. I just spoke with her, and a tag was never left on the door either. And you never told me there was a 12pm delivery time for suburbs on the phone. Why wouldn't you just leave the flowers there at the door? Ridiculous. (Update): The owners of the shop contacted me again and have rectified the issue and more. It's unfortunate that this mishap was in result of their employee not properly handling their duties. As a business owner myself I understand the struggles of finding good help, so I can't hold the ownership at fault. Although the flowers were delivered late, they've gone above what I would have expected of them to ensure high quality service. Greatly appreciative to them for handling this so quickly and professionally. The flowers that were delivered were beautiful, and would still recommend their services considering the circumstances. My most recent purchase from Michaels Floral was on 3/19/21 and not pleasing. I heard from the family member who received the arrangement that the flowers were "spent" upon arrival and lasted only 24 hours after arrival. Disappointing to hear after my past purchases had no apparent issues. Perhaps it was a busy time for Michaels as the first thing the store representative said to me was "we cant deliver today". I continued with my order and was interrupted with "well, do you want to order the flowers". I fault myself for not ending the order at that point, I believe this store representative was not having a good day and it was reflected in my arrangement. read more

I cannot express how thankful I am that we found this florist. I live in Houston and needed to order an arrangement for my Father's funeral in Buffalo. They had the best prices and most beautiful arrangements that I had seen when researching florists in the area. I also loved that they offered unique arrangements that didn't look 'funeral-ish'. They were so kind and patient and worked with me to make an arrangement with personal touches for my Dad. Some of the flowers I requested weren't in stock, but they ordered them immediately and had them available by the next morning in time for the service. They were able to suggest and use flowers that were his favorite colors and the arrangement looked even larger and more beautiful than a similar one I had seen online. I also had requested a flower that wasn't ideal for foam arrangements, but they took extra steps to ensure the flowers would stay fresh and beautiful all day. They were breathtaking and I know my Father would have loved them. I was concerned about having to do this over the phone and out of town, but they made the process easy and I still am so touched by how beautiful the flowers came out. They even texted me a picture of the finished arrangement since I couldn't be there. From the bottom of my heart I am so thankful for their care in making this beautiful gesture for my Dad. The delivery man, Chris was timely and so helpful with dropping off the ladies flowers at one hotel and the guys boutonnières at another hotel. Overall, I've always been pleased with Michael's. This time, I purchased an arrangement for my wife to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The flowers were beautiful (I paid $118 total) and the service in the store was exceptional. The delivery was technically on-time, but to bring flowers to an office at 4:00 is a little late. They arrived 15 minutes before I showed up to pick my wife up; I could have saved on a delivery charge by bringing them myself! Also, when delivering flowers to anywhere but a funeral parlor, they are almost always a surprise, so sending an immediate email for future discounts is not good policy. I'll chalk this one up to sh*t happens and will give them another chance because of the quality product and the great in-store service. read more

I always have a problem ordering flowers for delivery in another city etc... There are online services that offer "Specials" etc... then at checkout add serious fees etc... so I find asking people I know in the area I want the arrangement sent who their favorite florist is and call them directly. Well this place now has my business. I called late their time on a Monday for a medium sympathy arrangement and the Fella went over what he had available and what he could do etc... and we agreed on what was to be prepared. Ordered mother's day flowers from here and what was ultimately delivered was just alright. After a conversation with the associate explaining what I wanted, I was assured that my mom would be receiving very high-end flowers with a tight bouquet, modern looking, no filler green plants, bi-colored pinks and reds. What she actually received looked just like two of the large generic bouquets you see on their website put together. It did not reflect what I discussed with the associate. I give 3 stars because it was an objectively acceptable floral arrangement and if you just need to get any flower arrangement out to someone, then this place is fine. I have always gone with another floristry that recently went out of business and I have yet to find a comprable one in the Buffalo area. read more

Ordered an arrangement online described as "This bouquet of blooms includes white hydrangea, white roses, white spray roses, green carnations, green button spray chrysanthemums and pitta negra. Delivered in a silver mirrored cube vase", paid extra to get the "premium" arrangement that looked to have about 30 blooms. Recipient got pink flowers (mostly carnations) probably about 15 in total in a glass vase. Looked like a grocery store gift equivalent. AFTER I placed my order, there was a message that said I had agreed to substitutions if necessary. I did not check this box and never saw it ( a defaulted box quite possibly could have been there, just not something very obvious).Judge for yourself as to what was on the website and what was actually delivered in the pics below. So buyer beware....this was not at all in feeling or quality that I thought I was ordering (in excess of $100) and will not be ordering from this shop ever again. #baitandswitch read more

I received a floral arrangement at my office for Valentine's Day. The flowers were beautiful but there was a problem with the roses two days later. I spoke to Chris and he immediately offered me a refund or replacement. Customer Service, to me, is as important as the product itself. Chris handled the problem immediately in order to satisfy me. I know that in some cases flowers are delivered by a third party so the problem may lie with the delivery service and not the florist. I also realize Valentine's Day is crazy busy for florists so I appreciate the quick response time from Chris. Michael's will continue to get our business. read more
